About the Role

We’re looking for a senior level Business Analyst to join our team, lead discovery workshops and own outcomes with a dedicated customer. You’ll utilise your SDLC expertise along with your general all-round awesome BA skills. This role will involve planning and leading customer workshops, analytical business analysis, requirements gathering, producing deliverable documents, presentations and influencing decisions within the Software Engineering and digital space.

You will likely be responsible for leading multiple platform and application development teams, coordinating and scheduling team meetings, measuring progress and monitoring team performance along with your Delivery Manager. You will coordinate with subject matter experts to resolve impediments and understand key inter-team dependencies.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, lead, and facilitate big room discovery workshops for application modernisation, AI product build, architecture reviews, integration engagements alongside other business and technical sessions
  • Conduct business, product, and project visioning workshops
  • Conduct user research and user/stakeholder interviews
  • Establish and drive requirements gathering activities
  • Organise and facilitate requirements workshops
  • Create user personas and user journeys
  • Creating documentation i.e. use cases, user stories, prototypes, wireframes, proposals and strategy documents
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Ownership team to ensure value is being created and delivery backlogs are groomed and maintained.
  • Influencing change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace.
  • Building and promoting an open, trusting and respectful team environment; facilitating discussion, collaborative decision making and conflict resolution
  • Providing support to the team(s) using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
  • Organising and facilitating daily stand-ups, requirement estimation, sprint & release planning, demos and other related team meetings.

About you:

Pivotal for success in this team is your commitment to agile principles and practices, along with a passion for driving the customer experience and requirements on technically-lead projects. And of course, a key aspect being your ability to communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and seek opportunities to improve their business.

Your background:

  • Business analyst with experience in discovery and delivering enterprise projects
  • Ability to influence stakeholder relationships and drive team performance
  • Development background and/or knowledge of the SDLC
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • An experienced Agile and Scrum practitioner
  • Scrum Master experience preferred  
  • Miro skills required and Figma skills preferred

About the Team

The Client Trust group is part of a larger Checkout, Payments, and Client Trust team whose mission is to create seamless, secure, and transparent platform-driven experiences that foster trust and loyalty between Stitch Fix and our clients. We operate in an agile-inspired manner and are fully remote, collaborating across a distributed team of 6 - 8 software engineers in multiple time zones. Our team brings together engineering, product management, data science, UX design, finance, enterprise analytics, and more to enable great client outcomes. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will help shape the future of Stitch Fix’s Checkout, Payments, and Client Trust systems. You will also be responsible for planning, architecting, building, and maintaining features and software in support of our new Stitch Fix future.

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. $157,800$232,000 USD
