Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer with a broad technical knowledge base centered around user interface application development to handle some complex engineering initiatives. You will contribute to system design and architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and provide solutions to technical challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Develop full-stack web applications for both internal and external user bases

What you'll do

As the Conversion Specialist for eyeo’s consumer business, you will define and execute strategies to optimize conversion rates across eyeo’s consumer brands and websites, including AdBlock and Adblock Plus.

You will work collaboratively with product, UX, and engineering teams to define and implement successful conversion strategies. Your day-to-day activities

  • Conversion Optimization Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive CRO strategy for AdBlock and Adblock Plus websites, apps, and extensions
    • Align optimization initiatives with business objectives, securing buy-in from cross-functional leaders across product and engineering
  • Customer Journey Analysis

What you'll do

As a Frontend Developer, you will help maintain and evolve our product websites, including our flagship extension product websites getadblock.com and adblockplus.org. You'll be responsible for building and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performing websites and web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. 

This includes creating custom WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations and ensuring the websites remain up-to-date with the latest web standards and best practices. Your day-to-day activities

Your mission is to optimize our online presence across the web and mobile, ensuring visibility, usability and performance. Your day-to-day activities

  • Keyword Research:
    • Identify high-value keywords and phrases that align with our content and audience
    • Analyze search intent and trends to guide strategy
  • On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize website content and HTML elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) for better search engine visibility
    • Ensure the website is user-friendly, fast, and mobile-responsive
  • Off-Page Optimization:
    • Build and maintain high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites
    • Develop strategies to enhance the website’s domain authority and trustworthiness
  • Content Creation:
    • Collaborate with content creators to produce keyword-rich, engaging, and shareable content
    • Guide the team on best practices for SEO-friendly writing and formatting
  • Technical SEO:
    • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve technical issues (e.g., broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content)
    • Optimize website structure, schema markup, and ensure compliance with search engine guidelines
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data
  • Extensions and App Store Optimization:
    • Oversee optimization strategies for browser extensions and app store listings
    • Continuously refine ASO efforts to drive discoverability and downloads
  • Paid Experimentation:
    • Test new acquisition channels (affiliate, influencer, and more)
    • Drive growth through paid testing

What you bring to the table

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of technical and content optimization
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog)
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with paid advertising platforms like Google Ads or social media ads

Overview:

The Corporate Sustainability Disclosure & Engagement Lead will be responsible for leading public disclosures and for driving forward company's sustainability strategy. This individual will manage public disclosures, customer inquiries and engagement, and guide and build supplier engagement and enablement tools. The Lead will be instrumental in building and facilitating cross-functional projects and councils across the company as well as establish trust, rapport and influence with customers and suppliers regarding Sustainability policies, practices, and initiatives.  

Disclosure and Reporting: The Lead will own sustainability reporting processes end-to-end, working backward to collate, analyze and characterize environmental, social, and governance data from enterprise partner organizations, conduct and translate materiality analyses into actionable strategies, and support enterprise environmental goals, targets, and KPIs. Reporting responsibilities include regulatory and voluntary reporting, including but not limited to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), annual Sustainability Report, CDP disclosures, and other third-party ESG assessments.

Regulatory Monitoring: The Lead will work with the Director of Corporate Sustainability Strategy (CSS Director) and the Legal team to monitor Sustainability-related regulations, conduct and assist with gap assessments, design roadmaps for compliance, including coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams for data and content collection.

Risk Assessment: With the CSS Director, Legal, and other stakeholders, the Lead will devise and embed sustainability-related risk assessments into existing risk management processes. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, climate risk assessments, regulatory risk assessment (see above), industry trends, and customer needs and demands. The Lead will also support Human Rights Impact Assessments and related coordination with Procurement, Legal, Operations and other partner teams.

Stakeholder Engagement: The Lead will lead Supplier Sustainability Engagement, working closely with teams across the company, such as Procurement, Operations, Product Engineering, Legal, Communications. To align our supplier engagement efforts with the needs of our customers and operations, the Lead will support the CSS Director with customer engagement and supporting environmental initiatives.

Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, experience serving as a strategic advisor on sustainability issues, and proficiency with relevant and applicable sustainability frameworks, disclosures, and industry trends.     Job Description

    • Engage in client discovery sessions alongside sales, design, and engineering team
    • Participate in project design meetings with clients, perform site surveys, create assessment reports
    • Analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
    • Create AV and Control design packages composed of concept block diagrams, system CAD drawings, design narratives, programming specifications, performance specifications, and budget estimates for every phase of the projects (Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents)
    • Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients, installation teams, and creative teams
    • Assist with technical oversight, network implementation, system configuration, red lines, as-built drawings, commissioning procedures, and design questions during integration and commissioning of systems
    • Assist programmers with technical direction when developing user interfaces and control programs
    • Assist account executives in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals

    Qualifications

    • Advanced Control Systems Programming and Operation (especially Node-RED and scripting environments, as well as Q-SYS, Medialon, Alcorn McBride, etc.)
    • Proficient scripting abilities (e.g., Lua, JavaScript, Node.JS, SQL, etc.)
    • Video and Presentation Systems Programming and Operation (Pixera, 7th Sense, RealMotion, PIXILAB, Disguise, Touch Designer, Green Hippo, etc.)
    • Video processing and layering systems such as Aquilon, Barco E2, and Christie Spider
    • Large matrices such as Ross Ultrix, Grass Valley Sirius, and Evertz EQX
    • Large LED canvases and projection systems
    • IP video signal distribution protocols such as ST 2110, IPMX, SDVoE, and NDI
    • Networking Management, Configuration, Deployment, and Operation including VLANs, routing, QoS,
    • IGMP, PTP (certification a plus)
    • Q-SYS Audio & Control (certification preferred)
    • A/V systems, equipment, concepts, and technologies
    • User Interface development including some HTML and CSS knowledge
    • Office365 suite including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel

    Working Conditions
