An overview of this role

A strong partner ecosystem is crucial in the success and growth of  GitLab’s business. Partners are a strategic imperative for GitLab’s continued growth and market expansion. As customer requirements become more complex we need partners with capability and capacity to help customers implement, support and grow their usage of GitLab.  We work closely with cross functional leadership to ensure partners are integrated throughout the sales cycle both pre and post sales. Partner Account Managers (Internal name is Ecosystem Sales Managers) are critical in recruiting and building relationships with partners. Partner Account Managers (Internal name is Ecosystem Sales Managers) also work with partners to establish and measure goals and performance including pipeline, revenue generation and growing their overall GitLab practice. 

All individual contributors are referred to as “Ecosystem Sales Managers” or “ESM” and share the same primary requirements, responsibilities, and performance indicators. 

 

What you’ll do

  • Responsibilities: Leads major ecosystem partner initiatives, develops long-term strategic plans for ecosystem partner growth.
  • Interaction: Extensive communication both internally at senior levels and externally with major partners.
  • Impact: High, influencing key strategic decisions and ecosystem partner performance.
  • Coordinate/facilitate the involvement of GitLab team members, including sales leadership, support, etc. as needed to ensure meeting sales targets and ecosystem sales objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with the Gitlab field sales organization.
  • Proactively engage with GitLab AEs, ASMs and geo leadership.
  • Work closely with local System Integrators, Solution providers, Managed Services Partners and Hyperscalers (AWS & Google)
  • Design and execute comprehensive joint business plans with partners, including detailed partner account mapping, go-to-market strategies, and governance models to ensure a robust and mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Identify and support regional-specific demand generation/pipeline building activities with strategic partners.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) within your assigned territory.
  • Participate in annual planning within the Ecosystem organization.
  • Provide cloud-related weekly forecasts and/or progress reports.
  • Prepare presentations, territory plans and reports as required.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of strategic ecosystem partners, industry dynamics, and advanced business operations.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience selling software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions via strategic partnerships.
  • 5+ years in same or similar fields
  • Strong network across the partner ecosystem in Iberia
  • Be an expert of Partner Ecosystems in the Iberia region and the Cloud market

    The Opportunity

    To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Director of GTM Finance to join the Finance team. This role will report to the VP of FP&A and be a strategic partner to Grammarly’s Go-To-Market executives, driving strategic initiatives, driving revenue growth, building scalable processes, and supporting the team in establishing a strong presence in the enterprise market. This segment is quickly scaling and is a significant line of business.

    In this role, you will:

    • Be the finance business partner to our Chief Revenue Officer and marketing leadership, working collaboratively with their teams to help define and influence financial plans, business plans, and strategies.
    • Own end-to-end planning (annual, quarterly re-forecasts, and weekly updates) for the entire managed business P&L, inclusive of revenue, bookings, ARR, and opex metrics.
    • Create a data-based performance culture by being the steward of some of Grammarly’s most critical and visible business metrics: Bookings, Annual Contract Value (ACV), Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR),  Churn, Gross and Net Retention, Pipeline, GTM productivity, etc.
    • Develop a deep understanding of Grammarly’s Enterprise Sales funnel and build financial models to evaluate sales and marketing initiatives, ROI on campaigns (across channels), and customer lifetime value (and payback).
    • Prepare deep dives for the Executive team and the Board of Directors on GTM business performance in collaboration with key stakeholders to inform operating health and future investment decisions.
    • Drive headcount, quota capacity, cost of sales analysis, and expense planning for Sales, Post-Sales, and marketing teams.
    • Build and lead a world-class team and push the boundaries to produce deeper operational insights.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the finance organization and across all stakeholders in GTM. 

    Qualifications

    • Has 10+ years of experience in Finance, with more than 4 years of specific exposure to GTM finance (bonus points for a background in data science).  
    • Has a deep fluency in the acquisition and retention dynamics of scaled enterprise subscription/SaaS businesses.
    • Deep fluency and understanding of marketing.
    • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning tools (Salesforce and Xactly) and financial planning tools (ex. Pigment, Adaptive, etc.)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Fragrance Expertise & Brand Ambassadorship:

    • Brand Ambassador: Represent Dior Fragrance as the leading expert in North America. Share your knowledge of fine perfumery, inspire both BCs and clients, and ensure Dior's fragrance offerings are positioned as the highest standard in luxury fragrance.
    • Fragrance Expertise & Sales Passion: Stay at the forefront of fragrance trends, new launches, and industry insights. Apply your retail sales knowledge to guide Beauty Consultants in achieving sales targets and enhancing customer experiences at the POS.

    High-Performing Team & Culture:

    • Integration of BCs in Class & at POS: Support the integration of Beauty Consultants into Dior’s fragrance curriculum through structured training at both the classroom level (Esprit Dior, PCD, and LCP) and the Point of Sale (POS). Promote a consistent and elevated fragrance experience both offline and online.
    • Training Development & Coaching: Develop and strengthen training competencies for the regional team, with a focus on both hard and soft skills. Support training managers, field teams and other leaders in delivering engaging, actionable training for BCs.
    • Facilitate Monthly Roundtables: Lead monthly roundtable sessions to discuss hot topics in fragrance, new products, advanced knowledge, and market trends. Ensure these sessions foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teams.

    Point of Sale (POS) Support & Client Engagement:

    • Monitor & Coach POS KPI Performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fragrance sales and BC performance. Provide hands-on coaching and guidance at POS locations where necessary to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct Masterclasses at POS: Lead high-impact fragrance masterclasses at POS, offering personalized consultations for clients. Drive in-store sales by delivering exceptional fragrance experiences and educating clients on Dior’s fragrance heritage and products.
    • One-to-One Fragrance Consultations: Provide one-on-one consultations at Dior boutiques for VIP clients, press, and influencers, offering tailored fragrance recommendations and an unforgettable customer experience.
    • Collaborate with Central Teams: Work closely with Central Training, local Marketing, and Merchandising teams to develop tools and resources for BCs at the POS. Ensure Dior’s fragrance products are presented to their fullest potential in-store.

    Public Relations (PR) Events & Engagement:

    • PR New Product Presentations & Masterclasses: Organize and facilitate PR events, including new product launches, fragrance masterclasses, and olfactory workshops. Position Dior Fragrance as the go-to luxury fragrance brand for high-profile clients, influencers, and media.
    • Influencer & Celebrity Collaborations: Help host PR events with influencers, celebrities, journalists, bloggers, and VIP clients. Build strong relationships with these stakeholders to enhance Dior's visibility and prestige in the luxury fragrance space.

    Continuous Learning & Knowledge Enhancement:

    • Enrich Knowledge & Team Spirit: Foster a culture of continuous learning by arranging regular encounters with industry experts, including fragrance creators like Francis Kurkdjian. Facilitate field trips to deepen understanding of the Dior fragrance creation process and enhance team spirit.
    • Regular Meetings with Central Retail Education (R.E.) Team: Collaborate closely with the central Retail Education team to align training programs, share feedback, and drive performance. Regular meetings will ensure a unified approach to fragrance education across the region.

    Support for Local POS Strategy:

    • Local POS Strategy Support: Work directly with local teams to identify opportunities for fragrance activations and in-store experiences that drive sales and reinforce Dior’s image as a luxury fragrance brand.
    • Create Local Tools for POS: Collaborate with Central Training and local marketing teams to create tailored tools and educational resources for the POS. Ensure that Beauty Consultants have the knowledge and materials they need to succeed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury fragrance, beauty, or training.
    • A strong understanding of retail and sales dynamics, particularly in fragrance.
    • Fragrance Expertise: Deep knowledge of fragrance creation, olfactory notes, and high perfumery. Ability to educate and inspire others by sharing the art of fragrance in an accessible and engaging manner.
    • Retail Sales Passion: Strong understanding of retail sales dynamics and a genuine passion for driving fragrance sales. Ability to coach Beauty Consultants on effective sales strategies, helping them achieve and exceed their KPIs.
    • Training & Coaching Skills: Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, action-oriented training. Experience in coaching teams to help them develop both hard skills (fragrance knowledge) and soft skills (client interaction and sales techniques).
    • Client-Centric: A passion for providing exceptional customer service. Ability to foster long-lasting relationships with clients through personalized fragrance consultations and unique brand experiences.

    • Fluency in English: Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
    • Travel requirements: The role requires traveling approximately 65% of the time across different territories in North America, as well as trips to New York to collaborate with the Fragrance team.

    About the Role

    This Insights Manager will sit within the Retail Insights team and partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams to drive both Retailer and Category growth. This is a generalist role focused on leveraging internal and external 3rd-party data to influence internal business decision making, conduct market intelligence, and unlock growth across a set of Instacart’s most strategic partnerships and categories.

    About The Job

    • Leverage data and analytics to gain a deep understanding of our business, uncover short and long-term trends, and help drive critical business decision-making for a set of key retailers and CPG categories
    • Partner with our Business Development Retail team to craft business cases to sell-in additional Instacart products and offerings and conduct quarterly business reviews 
    • Partner with our Category Leadership team to decompose CPG category performance, build executive reporting and core dashboard infrastructure, and unlock internal business cases

    About You

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3+ years work experience in a quantitative business strategy role. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in Consulting, Banking, Analytics, or similar roles. Experience with retail and e-commerce a plus
    • Proficient SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools experience required. Ability to write complex, efficient, and eloquent SQL queries to extract data.
    • Strong analytical skills; ability to logically reason through a complex problem step by step and identify pitfalls
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity; a self-starter with the ability to quickly respond to problems independently, consider all stakeholder needs, and answer the “so what” questions
