What you’ll do:  

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong software expertise to develop a safe, reliable and performant object tracking system. You will: 

  • Lead the design and development of robust software applications for real-time object tracking. 
  • Utilize your proficiency in object-oriented programming principles to design efficient, testable and maintainable tracking algorithms. 
  • Collaborate with a creative team of engineers and researchers to solve multi-disciplinary problems. 
  • Improve how our vehicles act and react in complex and nuanced situations. 

What you’ll need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelors of Science with 6+ years of relevant work experience in computer science, robotics, or related technical field 
  • 5+ years of experience writing production code using modern C++ on Linux    
  • Strong proficiency with software architecture and design methodologies. 
  • Strong understanding of probability theory and linear algebra. 
  • Ability to write clean, documented, and performant code for real-time embedded systems. 
  • Proactive, team spirit and open communication. 

Bonus Points: 

  • MS + 3 years of industry experience OR PhD in relevant topic 
  • Strong understanding of object tracking algorithms (e.g., Kalman filters, DeepSORT). 
  • Understanding of 3D Geometry and Transforms

Job description

This is a long-term cybersecurity project for Windows OS. You will be responsible for researching and developing low-level solutions aimed at enhancing monitoring and security measures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain kernel-mode software components for WFP and NDIS filter drivers
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, software design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and technical manuals
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with kernel-mode software components and work closely with other members of the team to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integration of kernel-mode software components with other software and hardware systems

Skills and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience with C and C++ programming in a Windows environment

Role Description

As a member of the DevOps team, you will combine software and systems engineering to help build and run large-scale, distributed and fault-tolerant systems. What you'll be doing

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Using automation and Infrastructure as a Code (laC) to continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of services deployed on AWS.
  • Performance tuning and configuration of both Linux system and application parameters supporting highly concurrent web stacks.
  • Manage infrastructure through code using configuration management and laC templating software such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
  • Developing and depoloying infrastructure through laC pipe-lines for Cloud System Engineering group
  • Engaging with development teams on the design, deployment, capacity needs and operations of microservices, and supporting them as they transition to production.
  • Providing advanced technical support to clients via email, phone, or other methods by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through appropriate steps to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Documenting procedures and knowledge base articles throughout problem resolution and architecture development processes.
  • Monitoring the availability, performance and health of production systems in support of meeting service level objectives using monitoring systems such as lcinga, New Relic,Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, CloudTrail GuardDuty, OpsGenie, and PagerDuty.
  • Participating in emergency incident response on-call rosters. Practicing blameless postmortems that lead to improvements in resiliency and reductions in alert fatigue.

Skills and Aptitudes

Successful candidates will have these required qualifications:

  • In depth experience of AWS services (RDS (Relational Database Service), EC2, Autoscaling groups, S3 ITS, Deploying Lambda, EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, WAF, NAT GW, Transit GW, ALB, etc.)
  • Analytical problem-solving methodology with an outstanding ability to communicate and document effectively
  • Minimum of three years in Linux system administration with experience automating system processes with a variety of scripting languages or equivalent skills
  • Practical experience analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale, multi-region deployments in a public cloud (i.e. AWS)

As a Systems Architect for QAD, you will be responsible for the design, description and managing the development of solutions to support our client's business strategies.  You’ll be leading and/or supporting initiatives and introducing technical visions for a solution within the Enterprise Architecture Framework. 

You will work within the Observability/Engineering team to design, implement, enhance and maintain current and future QAD products and tools. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure the sound development and implementation of software solutions.  You will also facilitate resolution of conflicts that arise during the development lifecycle through effective partnership with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Optionally you’ll lead projects from initial idea through deployment, including the beta and alpha phases of a product deployment and you’ll stay abreast of new technologies to ensure QAD offerings are as current as possible.

This is a fully remote opportunity, based in India.

Note: The role will require the person to support in EMEA shifts ( 1 pm IST to 11 pm IST - any 9 hour shift)

Responsibilties:

  • Analyze, develop, enhance and maintain software applications/products and tools. Includes creation of design specification, development and unit testing of source code, review of source code, schema design, prototyping, helping other developers understand designs, and documentation. 

  • Create automation tools to improve internal processes.

  • Manage and enhance processes used for continuous integration, automated builds, source code control and test environment set-up. 

  • Review and identify improvement opportunities within the full SDLC that will lead to higher quality and more efficient processes. 

  • Document and communicate areas of concern for development operations.

  • Serve as a source of architectural and technical domain knowledge for the QAD product line and the tools that support it.

Qualifications

An overview of this role

Join our growing Corporate Security Engineering team! We are responsible for selecting, deploying, managing and optimizing the security tools used within our Corporate environment as part of our overall security strategy. You will implement state of the art security measures to enforce GitLab policy and prevent unauthorized access. The team is responsible for endpoint security controls and securing key SaaS products such as Okta, Google Workspace and Slack.

What You’ll Do

  • DLP / Insider Threat - you will assess our current Google Workspace DLP capabilities and help us build a path to maturity by enhancing our current monitoring and alerting capabilities and building a framework for automated Google Workspace data controls.
  • Managed Chrome Browser - you will assist with the rollout of managed Chrome browser to prevent malicious and unauthorized browser extensions, and the restrictions of other browsers for being used for work-purposes.
  • BYOD & Managed Devices - enhancing the security hardening of our devices used for Corporate purposes, whether BYOD or GitLab-managed devices. You will collaborate with the Identity team to implement device assurance policies to build authentication / authorization policies that are dependent on device posture.
  • EDR Maturity - you will assist us in the evaluation of the leading solutions on the market and our efforts to iterate on endpoint visibility and control capabilities. 
    Reduce SaaS sprawl and increase visibility - you will drive the reduction of the number of unapproved integrations within our Google Workspace and GitLab.com environments while minimizing business impact.

What You’ll Bring 

  • API/automation skills with a language such as Python and/or low-code tools like Tines, Workato, Okta Workflows
  • macOS, Linux, VDI and mobile endpoint management skills with tools such as Jamf, Kandji, Automox or other MDM tools.
  • Okta, Google Workspace and Slack administration background
  • Inquisitive mind to question why things are the way that they are and propose solutions
  • Experience creating communication and a willingness to collaborate with a wide group of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company
  • Excitement about working directly with team members when they encounter issues with security or endpoint management tools
  • Experience working at a remote-first technology company
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC SANS, or from vendors such as Google, Jamf or Okta
  • Willingness to use GitLab

About the Manhattan Associates’ WMOS Consultant Position

We are looking for a Manhattan Associates’ WMOS Consultant who will design and implement complex supply chain solutions for leading retailers and e-commerce companies using Manhattan Associates’ WMOS solution. Your duties will include analyzing business requirements and designing, configuring, and testing solutions that will meet customer needs.

You should have experience managing tasks and deadlines, authoring and comprehending technical documentation, configuring software to meet requirements, testing software, communicating technical concepts clearly, and troubleshooting problems independently. We expect you to be interested in learning and developing proficiency in software solutions.

Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States and must be capable of working remotely and occasionally traveling to client sites in the United States. Opportunities may also exist for travel outside of the United States, including Canada, Europe, and Asia. Historically, our consultants travel approximately 30-40% of the time, but travel may range anywhere from 0-100%.

Location

  • Remote; may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States.

Essential Functions

  • Understand a company’s functional, technical and process needs to create supporting documentation and solution requirements
  • Author technical documents such as design and modification specifications
  • Configure supply chain software system to achieve business needs
  • Create and execute testing to validate software and processes are working defect free and to specifications
  • Build and execute effective training to transition software to end users
  • Provide support on-site to increase value being provided to the client and remotely
  • Manage tasks and deadlines with minimal guidance
  • Ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables

Travel

  • Travel for this role will vary based on project requirements, typically between 30% and 40%

Required Education and Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or other relevant areas
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience implementing or supporting Manhattan Associates’ WMOS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical documents and translate requirements into actionable tasks

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience implementing supply chain solutions
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oracle relational databases
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL for application development
