In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders across the company. You’ll be the technical go-to for everything from system integrations to troubleshooting, with a key focus on optimizing our business applications for maximum impact.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs): Partner with BSAs to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise to translate these into functional solutions.
Integration Projects: Lead and participate in the design and implementation of system integrations, ensuring seamless process and data flow between different platforms.
Technical Solution Design: Architect scalable, reliable, and efficient technical solutions that support business objectives, including automation and process improvements.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SaaS applications, working with vendors and internal IT teams as needed.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, integration workflows, and configuration specifications.
Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of new features, configurations, and integrations to ensure they meet business requirements and function as intended.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical solutions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices for data security and privacy.

What you'll bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with SaaS applications and system integrations.
Proven experience working with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of JavaScript, and a familiarity with React and Node.js
Experience with API integrations, working with REST APIs
Experience with database management and SQL queries.
Familiarity with SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Workday, or NetSuite.

Business Acumen: Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a focus on finding efficient solutions to complex technical challenges.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based platforms and integrations.
Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, or similar methodologies.

For this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of both Python and Django and be excited to apply that knowledge in creation of applications and APIs to fulfill the requirements of our planned SaaS platform in 2025. You will be eager to understand the full set of application technologies already applied in existing applications and make best use of that extensive toolkit and broad range of AWS services in building out new features or products.

As a Federal Cloud Networking Engineer you will help deliver 24x7 support for our Government Cloud infrastructure.
This is a Weekend position from Thursday to Monday. The working hours are from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific Time.

Design and deploy networks based on business and technical requirements.

Take ownership of a minimum of two datacenters perform all sustainment engineering functions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

The candidate should have a solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing.
4+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) across Windows and/or Linux
Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking.
Azure Web Apps: developing, deploying, debugging and supporting web applications using .NET, Java, PHP, Python, Node.js etc. on Windows or Linux.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): using DevOps, Bit Bucket, GitHub.
Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible, Terraform) desired.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in working on Internet and data center networks.
Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, HSRP/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP.
Deep, hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocols including capturing and analyzing traffic with Wireshark and/or other tools.

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($130, 800 - $180, 000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
