JOB SUMMARY

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for providing exceptional guidance, direction, and technical support for GoHealth’s proprietary registration software and mobile app. As the solutions engineer, you will be partnering with operational leadership and partners to understand business workflows and collaborate effectively with the software development team to aid in planning the roadmap for integrations and new features to ensure the software is delivering an effortless patient and staff experience. This position also plays a key role in supporting the existing functionality and will be responsible to research and resolve workflow and software problems as part of daily support. It is a role that will require the ability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity. This is a highly visible role where you will be working with GoHealth leadership, various roles within IT, and external partners to integrate with and promote the use of our registration software and mobile app to deliver an unparalleled patient experience and overall value to the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience require.

Work Experience
 3+ years experience supporting clinical, practice management, or revenue cycle applications required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Build and manage relationships with end users and operational leaders to understand workflows and how the software facilitates patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for software enhancements and workflow optimization. Research, execute, and build the necessary system setup/changes to successfully achieve desired project outcomes.
• Provide direction and guidance to JV partner health systems in the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of integrations between GoHealth software solutions and the JV partner EMR systems
• Review and understand business and revenue drivers for feature use and adoption and work to deliver ROI to the organization through creation and prioritization of new or improved features
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed development solutions including technical requirements and scope involved
• Troubleshoot software problems reported by end users and partners through multiple communication channels including ticketing systems, direct communication, etc. to reproduce the problem and correct the root cause.
• Proactively monitor system health and error logs to ensure software system is consistently performing optimally
• Assist in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitive/comparable products on the market.
• Work with business and operations leadership to coordinate and execute communications around technology and workflow changes.
• Partner with training team to create e-learnings, quick tips, and other “just in time” training content and compose manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
• Escalating risks and issues as appropriate to the project sponsor and/or the external partner.
• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
• May write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.

This role may also assist in QA testing of new and enhanced features and functionality and provide operational and usability feedback to the development team.

The Solutions Engineer (internally referred to as the Solutions Consultant) primarily designs information systems to be implemented according to an organization’s goals, needs and objectives. They establish a system’s basic structure, defining essential design features and providing a framework for clients to follow.

Throughout the life cycle of system implementation, the Solutions Engineer will typically oversee building business plans, strategic direction, and standards for procedures and policies as they relate to IT systems architecture. They collaborate with team members across Lloyd’s centers to ensure application & infrastructure requirements are understood and translated to technical solutions.

 

Accountabilities

Solutions Design

  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of technology and business solutions for assigned clients.
  • Designs information systems to be implemented according to an organization’s goals, needs and objectives.
  • Assesses and defines process, workflow & technical requirements, while designing solutions to match those requirements.
  • Oversee building business plans, strategic direction, and standards for procedures and policies as they relate to IT systems architecture.
  • Prepare architectural design documentation, including diagrams and inventories.
  • Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, impact on other business processes and system priorities.
  • Present, explain, and discuss solution design to client contacts including c-level executives

Lloyd Solution Catalog

  • Stays knowledgeable in Lloyd’s complete offerings of solutions and services.
  • Seeks ways to apply technology to client challenges and business processes and researches and provides information on technical trends.
  • Works with Managing Director of Client Strategy to develop, document, and train Client Strategy personnel on Lloyd’s catalog of solutions.
  • Reviews new and existing IT projects, systems design and plans, and conducts research on emerging technologies to support changes in infrastructure, applications, and workflow.

Client Strategy Project Execution

  • Assists Principal Consultants with assigned clients’ implementation through the IT Roadmap (ITR) process.
  • Assists Principal Consultants with assigned clients’ transition through the LloydCare Conversion (LCC) process.
  • Keep current on assigned client industries, specifically related to IT & Compliance, through associations, events, blogs, news, emails.
  • Work with Lloyd internal teams to develop Lloyd’s Minimum Technical Requirements.

Cross Center Collaboration

  • Consults with Lloyd internal teams (such as Professional Services and Service Delivery) to develop appropriate technical (infrastructure & application/workflow) solutions.
  • Collaborates with other members of Lloyd internal teams and assigned client end users & senior management on establishing business goals.
  • Designs, develops, and supervises implementation of test plans for new and existing Lloyd Solutions, in addition to making recommendations to senior management and Engagement.

Opportunity Board Management & Client Documentation

  • Follow Lloyd process for keeping opportunity data current and progress documented.
  • Utilize Lloyd internal tools for storing client diagrams and agreement data.

 

Criteria for Success

  • Minimum 5 years of industry related experience, preferably in business-to-business, Emerging/strategic client segment; or
  • A record of achievement in the Technical (Systems Architecture, Technical/Business Consulting) Consultant Position.
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional training
  • Solution deployment experience preferred

Role Logistics

Your Career

The Prisma Access Customer Solutions Engineer is an individual contributor that will be a part of a small yet highly effective Prisma Access Customer Solutions team reporting to the Global SASE Architecture Director.  

This individual and team will partner closely with the Prisma Access Sales and Systems Engineering, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure that the Prisma Access solutions that Palo Alto Networks is delivering to its customers are architecturally sound and supportable.  This position requires a collaborative, creative, highly technical, and business-savvy individual that is able to architect complex solutions that meet the needs of our most demanding customers. 

Your Impact

  • Be knowledgeable in all SASE offerings
  • Enable scale as the central trusted technology advisor and lead architect of customer solutions for Prisma Access 
  • Increase customer satisfaction by working with Systems Engineers to architect supportable solutions while increasing Prisma Access revenue and exceeding corporate goals
  • Produce and improve Prisma Access design guidelines and documentation for standard Use Cases 
  • Assist the SASE SE Specialist and Systems Engineering team to effectively position customer solutions which are aligned with the standard Use Cases within their prospects and customers
  • Create, implement, and constantly improve the process for working with Prisma Access Stakeholders to approve customer designs which deviate from the standard Use Cases
  • Lead Prisma Access stakeholders including Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support to validate designs which deviate from the standard Use Cases
  • Expand the breadth and number of standard Use Cases not requiring design review and approval
  • Maintain bi-directional trusted advisor relationship with Product Management acting as a conduit for feature development requests based on feedback learned from the design review process
  • Present to customers as our expert in Prisma Access and deployment at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO

Qualifications

  • In-Depth knowledge of Prisma SASE and/or competitive offerings
  • In-depth knowledge of “As a Service” offerings
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and routing protocols including BGP
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud-delivered security
  • BSCS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Architect
  • Experience that emphasizes Network Security, Virtualization and Cloud Computing
  • Experience selling, demonstrating, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure security products and services

  • Act as a subject matter expert of Experian Marketing Services’ product suite and data offerings, functioning as a technical liaison among internal clients (Sales, Client Success, Engineering, Product, Service Delivery Teams) and external clients
  • Provide subject matter technical expertise through sales presentations that provide detailed technical information about solution capabilities, competitive differentiation within the marketing technology industry (consumer data, digital identity, activation, and measurement)

Alongside sales, the West Solutions Engineering teams work directly with notable brands and entrepreneurs to develop their commerce strategies whether that is starting or expanding their brick & mortar operations or e-commerce business, adopting our Retail solutions, or leveraging the power of Shopify Payments to scale. As a West Solutions Engineer, you’ll drive the technical solutioning for our West merchants, build POCs, lead demonstrations and enable our sales and partners teams to show how merchants can accelerate the growth of their business with Shopify. 

Shopify is a remote-first environment. Candidates can be based out of Seattle, Portland, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Phoenix & Nashville. 

 

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

  • Prior experience in presales solutions engineering or consulting
  • Solid understanding of Cloud-based technologies and SaaS fundamentals
  • Deep understanding of technical strategy as it relates to operating and growing commerce businesses
  • Hands-on skills of Frontend Web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Liquid)
  • Strong API knowledge (REST and GraphQL) for enterprise integrations.
  • Great troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with the desire to tackle challenges head-on
  • A powerful video conference presence with confidence handling executive-level conversations


You'll be working on things like: 

  • Working to help qualify and close deals from a technical requirements perspective for Sales team and development partners/agencies
  • Engaging with enterprise clients through requirements discovery and strategic consulting sessions
  • Creating customized product demos and proof of concepts for use during on-site or virtual client demonstrations
  • Becoming an expert on Shopify’s application ecosystem and integrations
  • Aligning with product and RnD teams on future roadmaps and sharing feedback on released features and client trends
  • Mentoring and coaching the sales team on technical aspects of Shopify Plus

Bonus experience:

  • ECommerce experience and knowledge of latest trends (storefront implementation, omni-channel, supply chain, B2B)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Github)
