What you’ll do:
Solution Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing thebusiness andtechnical evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with other members of the sales team asakeyadvisor. As a Solutions Engineer withintheCEA, you will be part of afast-pacedenvironment, supporting a rapidly growing product division withinCXone’sCustomerEngagementAnalytics and responsible for laying the groundwork for the sales team to be successful. You will partner withportfoliopresales and sales to provide support throughout the entire sales processas an AI/ Analytics subject matter expert. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals from diverse backgrounds with demonstrated strong critical judgment,as well as,deep quantitative problem-solving skills.   • Lead presales phase through your business and technical expertise to deliver high quality solutions, identify risks, and clear roadblocks for the sales organization
  • Professionally and independently conduct discovery conversations and needs analysis for business and technical topics.
  • Pursue the technical sales process with a coordinated focus on solutions development through the discovery and requirements gathering, personalization demo,validation,and documented design across assigned product groups.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirementsand utilizequestioning skills to understand, anticipate and match NICE customerbusiness andtechnical capabilities to products.
  • Create and deliver compelling, customer centric presentations and demonstrations by connectingtechnical features to customer business capabilities and drivers.
  • Identify all challenges of the customer to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical specification efficiently and effectively.
  • Seamless collaboration with the sales account managers and functional consultants fostering an integrated team approach to customer engagement.
  • Provide product feedback and work closely with product management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancements.
  • Act as an integral team member working to achievedivisionaland team sales goals. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of modern technologies acrossAI, Analytics,telephonyand cloud platforms
  • Assist the team in the development and maintenance of company-wide standardization and scalability processes

What you bring to the table:

  • BA/BS degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science,mathematicsmathematics,or information technology. Master’s degree is also beneficial
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in hands-on practical technical experience in (solutionsengineering, salesarchitecture, data, implementation)that was engaged in planning,executing,and managing of complex software sales.
  • Inherent self-sufficiency, excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to clear roadblocks and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple complex opportunitiessimultaneously
  • Bias for action, a motivator with an optimistic yet realistic “can do” attitude
  • Experience with cross-functional project and deal teams within Enterprise software/ business solutions

The Role

Job Description

Expectations:

  • Provide direct Sales Engineering support to Sales, BD, and Partner Teams

What you bring to the table: 

  • Minimum 10+ years software solution development/deployment experience
  • Provide the necessary skills to identify and solve technical problems, define and design database system architectures and analyze data sources
  • Experience in a broad range of database platforms and operating systems, including; relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), analytical data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift), and other data stores
  • Proficient skills in SQL

About the Role

The Solutions Engineer (internally referred to as the Solutions Consultant) primarily designs information systems to be implemented according to an organization’s goals, needs and objectives. In this role, you will work closely with customer Security Architects, Security Engineers, InfoSec and DevOps teams within mid-to-large enterprises to implement best in class cloud security solutions.

Your Impact

● Ensure customers are maximizing their return on investment by rapidly implementing and operationalizing Palo Alto Networks solutions to achieve their business and security objectives

● Be a Senior Technical advisor guiding the customers in implementing Palo Alto Networks cloud/network security solutions with a focus on NGFW & Cloud Delivered Security Services (URL filtering, Enterprise DLP, Threat Prevention & Wildfire) and fully integrating these technologies into their security operations.

● Be a Go-To customer expert on Palo Alto Networks cloud security solutions and become a Subject Matter expert over time.

● Serve as a customer advocate in influencing product roadmap and improvements, Coach customers on how to establish and manage their overall Cloud Security program.

● Conduct Webinars & other customer advisory sessions to provide Best Practices guidance on Network Security & Cloud Delivered Security Solutions.

● Identify risks to the customer achieving their stated business goals and work with the account team to build a risk mitigation plan or escalate as needed

● Performance metrics include CSAT, Renewal rate, Upsell / Cross-sell lead identification, Reference-ability, Renewal likelihood, Adoption, Consumption, Customer Engagement.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in post-sales, pre-sales, technical support, consulting or similar roles.

  • In-depth understanding of Networking, Network Security, and Cloud concepts and experience with multi-vendors networking devices such as Firewalls (physical/virtual/cloud) routers, switches.

  • Enterprise-level design experience in Routing Protocols (BGP / OSPF / EIGRP), Zero Trust, VPN Solution, Cloud Networks.

  • Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols (SAML, SSO, LDAP, RADIUS, etc.

  • Expertise with Cloud Delivered Security Services (URL filtering, Enterprise DLP, Threat Prevention & Wildfire).

  • Expertise with Palo Alto NGFW, SD-WAN, and SASE.

  • Excellent customer communications skills including technical teams, executives, and audiences of all sizes.

  • Ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, and explain their impact on business both internal and external to the organization

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Your Career

The Prisma Access Customer Solutions Engineer is an individual contributor that will be a part of a small yet highly effective Prisma Access Customer Solutions team reporting to the Global SASE Architecture Director.  

This individual and team will partner closely with the Prisma Access Sales and Systems Engineering, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure that the Prisma Access solutions that Palo Alto Networks is delivering to its customers are architecturally sound and supportable.  This position requires a collaborative, creative, highly technical, and business-savvy individual that is able to architect complex solutions that meet the needs of our most demanding customers. 

Your Impact

  • Be knowledgeable in all SASE offerings
  • Enable scale as the central trusted technology advisor and lead architect of customer solutions for Prisma Access 
  • Increase customer satisfaction by working with Systems Engineers to architect supportable solutions while increasing Prisma Access revenue and exceeding corporate goals
  • Produce and improve Prisma Access design guidelines and documentation for standard Use Cases 
  • Assist the SASE SE Specialist and Systems Engineering team to effectively position customer solutions which are aligned with the standard Use Cases within their prospects and customers
  • Create, implement, and constantly improve the process for working with Prisma Access Stakeholders to approve customer designs which deviate from the standard Use Cases
  • Lead Prisma Access stakeholders including Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support to validate designs which deviate from the standard Use Cases
  • Expand the breadth and number of standard Use Cases not requiring design review and approval
  • Maintain bi-directional trusted advisor relationship with Product Management acting as a conduit for feature development requests based on feedback learned from the design review process
  • Present to customers as our expert in Prisma Access and deployment at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO

Qualifications

  • In-Depth knowledge of Prisma SASE and/or competitive offerings
  • In-depth knowledge of “As a Service” offerings
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and routing protocols including BGP
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud-delivered security
  • BSCS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Architect
  • Experience that emphasizes Network Security, Virtualization and Cloud Computing
  • Experience selling, demonstrating, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure security products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams through influence
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills for internal and external audiences both in Japanese and English
  • Strong problem finding and solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems, and use creativity and a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, even under duress.
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to assist in closing a deal.

Job Description

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer with Ad/MarTech experience and is accustomed to solving customer’s business problems. In this role, you will work directly with the sales team to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, and support Proof of Concepts.  You must be able to engage and articulate product positioning to both business and technical users in competitive scenarios. You will also rapidly identify all technical issues of prospective accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales and client success team to engage in the pre-sales process to win over cautious technical contacts for the largest and most complicated deals by designing solutions to meet the customer’s business needs. They will rigorously evaluate complex deployments that involve custom software or application integration and help demonstrate the value and benefits of our solutions through product demonstrations, assist in scoping the requirements of the sales engagement, and ensure the appropriateness and accuracy of proposals.  Will maintain customer satisfaction and establish strong internal and external relationships through all stages of the sales process.

  • Act as a subject matter expert of Experian Marketing Services’ product suite and data offerings, functioning as a technical liaison among internal clients (Sales, Client Success, Engineering, Product, Service Delivery Teams) and external clients
  • Provide subject matter technical expertise through sales presentations that provide detailed technical information about solution capabilities, competitive differentiation within the marketing technology industry (consumer data, digital identity, activation, and measurement)
  • Maintain a working knowledge of digital technologies, emerging trends, and their applicability to industries and domains that enable you to understand our client’s digital transformation priorities, problems, and roadmaps
  • Communicate effectively and answer questions from internal and external stakeholders on the functionality of products and guide client technical teams on how to best leverage Experian products
  • Provide feature ideas on products based on client needs (VOC), relevant marketplace learnings, and work with internal teams to deliver solutions to drive sales
  • Support implementations by working closely with our client success, product, and engineering teams

  • Participate in Sales/Product pricing discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, business or relevant field and/or over several years of experience in marketing, advertising, or Marketing/Advertising technology (MarTech/AdTech)
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a client-facing  technical roles in advertising, marketing, technology, or SAAS roles. Experience in a Solution Engineer or Solution Consultant roles preferred.
  • General technical knowledge around MarTech/AdTech products such as: DMPs, CDPs, DSP, SSPs, Data Collection, and Digital Identity. Experience demoing platforms and scoping custom Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Experience in implementing solutions in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake)
  • Experience within the Marketing Technology (MarTech/Adtech) ecosystem (consumer data, digital identity, activation, and measurement)
  • Technical depth to respond to most functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • When it is safe (after COVID) the ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentations, and system design
  • Ability to strategically problem solve by thinking outside of the box
