About the role:

We are seeking a Sales Executive for a field sales-based position responsible for the Munich region and South Germany territory sales plan. The Sales Executive will have strong technical knowledge in the area of Genomics and will demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices. Strong business acumen is required to build successful account and territory plans and translate territory strategy into business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of account relationships with key thought leaders in the Next Gen Sequencing space.

  • Demonstrate technical credibility to consult with customers on technology solutions
  • Demonstrate funnel management skills with strong hunting/prospecting and closing skills
  • Commitment to rigorous territory planning, market knowledge, both accurate and timely forecasting

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Proven sales experience in life sciences or similar, with capital equipment
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships
  • Extensive knowledge in the Genomics arena
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role
  • Fluent English and German language skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the area of Single Cell RNA Seq and/or Spatial Transcriptomics
  • Master’s Degree or PhD. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Additional European language skills (preferably German)

  • Proven expertise in providing product support for laboratory assays or instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills displayed while managing complex technical issues and escalations.

Performs assembly, disassembly, and repair work on analytical laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively and safely utilizes test equipment, hand tools and power tools when needed. Responsible for documentation as required by company policy, cGMP, ISO, State Regulatory agencies, and FDA. Serve as a regional subject matter expert when the Key Market Technical Engineer for the region is unavailable. Support the loading and updating of software, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and Pre-staging of new equipment. Monitors personal parts stock, test equipment and test tools inventory to ensure proper levels and current calibration certificates are readily available for typical servicing of instruments.   • Test, troubleshoot and advise others in the repair of analytical laboratory instruments to the Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) level.
  • Able to analyze complex situations and apply independent judgment when accessing problems.

  • Responsible for supporting upgrade release activities including calibration and configuration of analytical laboratory instruments.
  • Monitor personal inventory levels to ensure adequate levels of parts and supplies are available on hand, if not place orders for supplies following company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:           
  • Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering / Technology and 4+ years of experience with the service and repair of analytical laboratory instruments. Or completion of the DoD Biomedical Technician course and 7+ years of experience as a service engineer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience with the service and repair of analytical laboratory instruments.

Customer Service Associate - Japan

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate based in Japan with fluent Japanese and English language skillsto support our growing entity in Japan.

The Customer Service Associate interfaces with and supports internal and external customers and distributors managing order entry and fulfillment. You will build strong relationships with customers and serves as a liaison between customers and cross-functional groups across the company.

  • Create and manage service requests to field teams in CRM and service contracts in ERP system pursuant to purchase order details, quote and sales or service management input
  • Handle product and order enquiries via phone and email with internal and external customers/distributors 
  • Monitor Back Orders and manage updates in system and communication updates to customers/distributors and internal staff on a regular basis

The Spatial Science & Technology Advisor (SSTA), New York, is primarily responsible for working with the Spatial Sales and Marketing teams to help develop and grow the 10x Genomics Spatial business by accelerating the sales process and maximizing revenue for sales opportunities in their territory. This role will conduct sales and related sales support activities for all current and future Spatial products and applications within the 10x Genomics portfolio. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Execute and communicate the vision for increasing the 10x Spatial portfolio market share at the field-level

About the role

Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Security Engineer (IAM Identity Engineer) to own and enhance identity and access management systems, with a primary focus on maturing our Okta implementation and hardening our AWS Identity and Access Management configuration. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Okta platform, a proven history of configuring SCIM,  in addition to extensive multi-cloud experience. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be the technical subject matter expert for our identity solutions and cloud configurations. You will be responsible for performing design reviews, technical security assessments, and access reviews to highlight overly permissive policies and to help engineering teams reduce risk and  improve the overall security of our products. You will be a security leader within the company, gaining a solid understanding of our products and systems, and ensuring that security is built-in. This position requires both deep and broad technical knowledge across a range of disciplines, and the ability to work hands-on across a wide variety of software designs and technology stacks.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as a primary technical security resource on all IAM issues and projects 
  • Lead, implement, and expand our zero trust architecture
  • Mature our Okta implementation by configuring SSO, SCIM, and other automated-provisioning processes
  • Review and update cloud-based IAM policies to make sure access policies are least privileged, properly scoped, and governed by version control (Terraform + GitHub)
  • Architect, configure, and audit role-based access control to ensure appropriate and secure user access
  • Collaborate with other teams in pPerforming design reviews and technical security assessments to identify risks, ensure access rights are properly aligned, and help other teams improve the overall security of our products.
  • Design and implement security best practices and standards across varied engineering teams and environments.
  • Conduct threat modeling, identify & drive risk decisions, and influence technical designs and architectures.
  • Advocate for security culture and educate colleagues across all parts of 10x.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience configuring federated identity providers, using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience configuring cloud identity and access management services including strong understanding of AWS IAM policies, roles, and trust relationships
  • Experience with Terraform, GitHub or similar for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience in web security (SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud and web application security standards (CIS benchmarks, OWASP ASVS, SANS 25, etc.)

Preferred skills and experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field.
  • In-depth technical and foundational knowledge of software engineering, computer systems, security engineering, authentication, and/or applied cryptography.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, and aligning security standards, frameworks, and corporate policy with overall business and technology strategy.
  • Experience securing operating systems, networks, and low-level infrastructure. 
  • Experience with attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, and corresponding mitigation methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.

$150,000$225,000 USD
