We are looking for a highly collaborative Sr. Product Designer to help drive the design of the Hims & Hers platform services, including authentication and incentives. You will work closely alongside Design, Product Management and Engineering to build a best-in-class product. You thrive when solving problems that tailor to the needs of a niche end-user, bringing simple, elegant design solutions to complex workflows. You are motivated and ego-free, and are constantly looking to improve, ideate and refine design.

This role will require a hands-on designer who is detail oriented, but also feels comfortable being able to flex between broader strategic thinking and tactical execution. In a fast-paced, startup-like environment, you’re comfortable tackling the full process from defining problems, ideating concepts and synthesizing data, into solutions that translate complexity into focused designs and prototypes.

You Will:

  • Lead Design: Design strong UX that simplifies complex logic through flows, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes as well as high-fidelity visual designs that elevate the look and feel of our product. Lead large projects or multiple initiatives concurrently with autonomy.
  • Innovate and Inspire: Push the boundaries of the Hims & Hers experience. Your work will not just solve problems—it will elevate the standard of care by introducing elegant, empathetic, and human-centered solutions.
  • Champion the User: Advocate for our users by deeply understanding their needs, challenges, and behaviors. Through research, testing, and iteration, you’ll ensure that our products are not only easy to use but a joy to interact with. Participate in  customer research to develop a thorough understanding of our users’ needs and pain-points, then apply those insights into innovative and performant experiences.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: You’ll partner with Design, Product Managers, Research, and Engineering to navigate complex problems, and together you will drive projects from start to finish. By developing a deep product expertise, you will become a trusted partner to stakeholders, while ensuring that everyone impacted by your work is aligned throughout. Guide, inspire, and influence peers and team with exceptional communication, empathy and execution.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in a UX or Product Design role leading design alongside your cross-functional peers in Product, Engineering and Research 
  • You have a holistic approach to design, from high-level strategy to small design details
  • You’re a self-starter who is solution oriented, and you’re comfortable with defining, scoping and designing for new opportunities with and without the input of others
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present your decisions and processes clearly and confidently
  • Enthusiasm for growth and improvement, openness to feedback, and ability to work well with other designers of all levels
  • Adaptability and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert proficiency with Figma

Nice to have:

  • Experience with designing authentication enablement and/or incentives programs
  • Previous experience building products 0-to-1 in a startup
  • You understand the basics of React and Platform Systems
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, telehealth, pharma, or healthcare

1 INTRODUCTION

The NATO Information and Communication Agency (NCI Agency) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, is currently involved in the development of new capabilities for NATO as well as in the support of existing capabilities. In the light of these activities, the C2 Centre is looking for an experienced software developer.

More specifically, the work will support the full software development cycle of Medical Management Prototype.

2 SCOPE OF WORK

Under the direction of the NCI Agency project team, the software developer will develop and update Medical Management Prototype software modules. This includes the following activities:

• Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis and design discussions,

• Write the application frontend, namely:

o Web pages,

o Style sheets,

o Limited business code.

The development work will be carried out accessing remotely the NCIA engineering facilities.

The contractor will be part of a team (project manager, technical lead, software developers, etc.) and will work using an Agile and iterative approach using multiple sprints. The content and scope of each sprint will be agreed with the project manager and the technical lead during the sprint-planning meeting.

3 DELIVERABLES AND PAYMENT MILESTONES

Each sprint is planned for a duration of 10 working days. At the end of each sprint, a detailed report of the activities conducted should be submitted.

The NCIA team reserves the possibility to exercise a number of options, based on the same scrum deliverable timeframe and cost, at a later time, depending on the project priorities and requirements.

The payment shall be dependent upon successful acceptance of Annex B – Certificate of Acceptance, including the EBA Receipt number.

The following deliverables are expected in 2024 from the work on this statement of work:

Deliverable 01: Sprints for Medical Management Prototype software development

Quantity: 2

Payment Milestones: After each sprint completion

Estimated Start Date: 22 Nov 2024

End Date: NLT 31 Dec 2024

For 2025, additional sprints may be requested under the same scope, conditions and constraints.

4 COORDINATION AND REPORTING

The contractor shall provide services off-site.

The contractor shall participate remotely in daily status update meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and other meetings, in person via electronic means using Conference Call capabilities, according to project manager’s instructions.

For each sprint to be considered as complete and payable, the contractor must report the outcome of his/her work during the sprint, first verbally during the retrospective meeting and then in written within three (3) days after the sprint’s end date. The format of this report shall be a short email to the project manager mentioning briefly the work held and the development achievements during the sprint.

5 SCHEDULE

This task order will be active immediately after signing of the contract by both parties.

It is expected the work starts 22 November 2024 and ends not later than 31 December 2024.

If the 2025 option is exercised, the period of performance is 01st January 2025 to 31st December 2025.

6 SECURITY

The security classification of the work will be up to NATO UNCLASSIFED. A NATO security clearance is not required.

7 CONSTRAINTS

All the documentation provided under this statement of work will be based on NCI Agency templates or agreed with project point of contact.

All scripts, documentation and required code will be stored under configuration management and/or in the provided NCI Agency tools.

8 PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS

The contractor may be required to travel to other sites within NATO for completing these tasks.

Travel costs are out of scope and will be borne by the NCI Agency separately in accordance to the provisions of the AAS+ Framework Contract.

This work must be accomplished by ONE contractor. In the event the consultant leaves during the contract period, he or she shall be replaced by a new consultant who has the required qualifications and is acceptable. Normal NCI Agency Terms and Conditions apply.

The consultancy support for this work requires a software developer with the following qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Medical Management Prototype architecture and code base
  • Minimum of 5 years of front-end development experience with the following technologies: Angular, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS or one of its pre-processors such as LESS, Sass or Stylus,
  • Experience with Service-oriented Architecture software design and with the ingestion of web APIs,
  • Experience with JSON Web Tokens (JWT) or similar token formats such as Security Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML),
  • Experience with Visual Studio,
  • Experience with Design Thinking, Dev(Sec)Ops and Agile software development,
  • Experience with cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure,
  • Proven ability to integrate and work in a multinational team
  • The ability to conduct all work in English

The Role

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Utilize ServiceNow's Application Development modules to build and manage scoped applications.
  • Ensure the integration of third-party applications with the ServiceNow platform via APIs and other mechanisms.
  • Implement and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies to streamline business processes.
  • Manage the full development life cycle, including testing, implementation, and deployment.
  • Support cloud-based implementations and ensure performance optimization for ServiceNow applications.
  • Leverage Agile and DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), to maintain project efficiency.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and improvements to the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that all customizations meet ServiceNow best practices.
  • Document development processes and provide support to junior team members as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship/Green Card Holder, must be willing to do a background check
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and experience with ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
  • Cloud development experience, especially with ServiceNow cloud architecture.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices and DevOps frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps) for ServiceNow.
  • Experience with database management in ServiceNow and optimizing query performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), or other ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks within ServiceNow.

Cruise is seeking a versatile and self-motivated Senior Counsel to join the Litigation & Investigations team. In this role, you will develop and clearly communicate to the business pragmatic, expert legal advice on a wide variety of autonomous vehicle liability issues. You also will be a key collaborator, problem solver, and thought partner for the Incident Response team, Trust & Safety team, Engineering, and various other business teams at Cruise. What you’ll be doing:

  • Successfully resolve vehicle-focused claims, disputes, and litigation with creative and outside-the-box strategies, including managing outside counsel, assessing exposure, setting strategy, supervising discovery and motion practice, and driving resolution decisions.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s data platforms for eDiscovery purposes, advise internal technical stakeholders on retention needs, manage eDiscovery vendors, tools, and processes for all ongoing litigation, subpoenas, investigations, and regulatory inquiries, and administer legal holds, ensuring preservation of relevant documents and data.

  • Provide legal support for the Incident Response program, working closely with engineering, operations, safety, government affairs, and communications to coordinate incident response efforts and incident readiness programs.

  • Manage Cruise’s third party claims administrator in operating and refining a best-in-class claims process that focuses on doing the right thing and putting our customers first, while maximizing efficiency and maintaining SLA performance targets.

  • Advise and collaborate with partners to continually improve internal procedures that feed into Cruise’s claims processes.

  • Integrate deeply with business and engineering teams to develop a thorough understanding of Cruise’s AV technology, and use that understanding to find opportunities to manage and mitigate risk, troubleshoot business practices that create unnecessary legal exposure, and proactively review existing procedures and recommend improvements.

  • Update the Litigation team on new developments in case law, federal, state and local rules, and other statutory developments impacting discovery, ESI, etc.

  • Participate actively in Litigation team management, including budgeting, forecasting, managing outside counsel, and preparing reports to senior management.

What you must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited law school with at least 7+ years of relevant experience litigating claims or actions in the transportation and/or insurance defense industry.

  • Extensive hands-on experience managing intensive eDiscovery projects, including initial case assessment, strategy development, responding to discovery, overseeing all aspects of eDiscovery, and conducting witness interviews for case-specific document collections.

  • Active member of the California or Texas state bar in good standing; preference for Texas

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable integrity and judgment, strong analytical skills, and a keen sense of humor.

  • Skilled in fostering collaboration and building strong partnerships, with a customer-focused attitude.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage a large and complex workload.

  • Strategic thinker with a verifiable history of communicating sound and practical advice to business clients.
