Job Description

As a PHP Engineer on the Technology team, you will be a part of a value aligned group developing our financial system responsible for customers and merchants facing interfaces.

Job Description

The Role: 
We at Krisp are looking for a creative Senior ML Engineer to join our rapidly growing Research team. As a Senior ML Engineer, you will be a part of the Video team and will work on computer vision algorithms. Also, you will be involved in the research and implementation of ML algorithms and tools for computer vision starting from the data collection process to model tests and fine-tuning.

Location: Armenia, Remote

We are a remote-first company, so you can work from wherever you feel most comfortable. However, based on the business need some roles are considered for specific locations.

What You'll Do:

  • Design machine learning systems for computer vision. Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Research, find and use appropriate datasets and data representation methods
  • Run machine learning tests and experiments, look at test cases and advise QA on adjacent code/regression impact. Own the technical testing and performance plan
  • Own and lead security, performance, availability and scalability aspects of the project
  • Fine-tune models based on test results and user feedback, train and retrain systems when necessary
  • Be on top of industry trends, research and propose new technologies
  • Communicate technical decisions through design docs and tech talks
  • Mentor junior engineers via pairing, design review, and code review
  • Understand the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs and lead to solutions that take all of these needs into account.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
  • Understanding of training data structures, data modeling and software architecture
  • Deep knowledge of maths, probability, statistics, computer vision and algorithms
  • Ability to write robust code in Python
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch) and libraries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and be compassionate to team and teamwork

The Role

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiast Business Analyst who can adjust to different business contexts in order to identify functional and technical solutions for the application's development.

As a BA, you'll become one of the most valuable assets of the company by playing the role of a facilitator who bridges the gap between Business and IT on various projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop a flexible mindset, communication, and persuasion skills, but also to engage yourself in defining/proposing the way of working within different business contexts related to the software development process.

As a BA you will play the key role in a project life-cycle by ensuring that the final solution meets the customer’s needs and objectives. Your responsibilities will be the following: 

  • Be the main contact person for the customer and be in direct contact with project stakeholders, UI/UX Designer, PM, Development, and Testing within the software development process
  • Aim to understand both business and market context
  • Identify business needs and high-level project scope
  • Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE state of the product
  • Participate and lead functional kick-off workshop
  • Engage in clarifying, documenting requirements, but also in the business process modeling as part of the requirements/stakeholder management
  • Manage the product backlog and work closely with the Product Owner/Product Manager on the customer side for road-map and prioritization
  • Plan and refine the product backlog with a focus on delivering valuable increments, taking into account all three perspectives – user, business, and technical
  • Monitor and control project scope/alignment with business goals and roadmap

Qualifications

  • Spoken and written fluency in German and English is mandatory
  • 2-5 years experience working in (agile) software development projects
  • Experience with QA/testing and/or with requirements engineering
  • Knowledge in UML, SQL, pseudocode, relational databases is a plus
  • Any development experience (especially Java) is a plus
  • Good understanding of the business context and of the technical context as well
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Critical thinking and good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Proven client-facing & stakeholder management experience
  • Team player

  • Good Understanding of React framework (Function and Class Components, Hooks, HOC, Virtual DOM)
  • Knowledge of OOP and different design patterns
  • Proficient with DOM manipulation and event handlers
  • Experience with front-end solutions: Redux, ES2015+, I18n, React-Routing
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Preprocessors (SASS, LESS, Flexbox, Grid)
