Job Description
As an Instructional Designer you will research, script, record, edit, and maintain Unit4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) online learning material (mainly instructional videos). Your audience will be made up of Unit4 customers, employees, and partners.
You will communicate with other important stakeholders such as, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Product Managers to gather information needed for your work.
As a member of Education team, you will work closely with the Product Learning Manager and Lead Instructional Designers.
What you will do
- Develop (research, script, record and edit) learning material for Education’s product training portfolio, according to the team’s guidelines and best practices.
- Use instructional design principles and theories to provide effective learning experiences.
- Gain an expert knowledge of Unit4 ERPx and other Unit4 products as necessary.
- Build and engage with a network of experts on various topics, for example, what training our audience requires, who has the expert knowledge you need, etc.
- Monitor product development for your areas and stay up to date with new product releases.
- Quality assure the team’s scripts and videos.
- Follow up on feedback from course participants.
- Stay up to date on tools and methods for online learning production.
- Contribute to professional knowledge sharing.
- Coach other SMEs that need to give workshops in specific areas.
Qualifications
We ask for:
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in content creation.
- An intuitive understanding of business software.
- Training skills/experience, preferably from the software as a service (SaaS) industry.
- Excellent English, both and written and spoken.
- An ability to convey information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that demonstrates excellent communication skills.
- Experience with video editing and eLearning authoring tools
- Previous Unit4 ERP experience, including technical areas (for example, use of Extension Kit and APIs) is preferred.
