  • Lead the front-end web development, maintenance, and content management for BDT’s current website (, and support the development of a new website as part of an organization-wide rebrand
  • Work with Communications & Marketing, Design, and other stakeholders to define requirements and scope changes to the organization’s website, ensure brand standards, and implement modern web development best practices
  • Work with internal stakeholders to suggest and implement website improvements that will positively impact user experience, load times, and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Collaborate with external development partners as needed to improve the web user experience.
  • Collaborate with UI Designers to translate wireframes and graphic mockups into functional code; collaborate as needed to develop appropriate art, illustration, photos, and other imagery to accompany website content
  • Communicate technical feasibility and design decisions to internal and external stakeholders on the improvement and maintenance of the organization’s website
  • Create and maintain software documentation, including website release notes
  • Be an active contributor within the Communications & Marketing Team, recommending and implementing new approaches to enhancing the user experience, highlighting BDT’s mission, and encouraging engagement with BDT products
  • Participate in brainstorming and idea creation on how to optimize our digital marketing
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with minimal supervision in a timely manner


  • Degree or 3+ years of work experience in UI/UX Design, Web Development, or relevant field
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Netlify (or similar CMS)
  • Experience implementing SEO and web analytics, preferably Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Understanding of brand management
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices, browser testing, and debugging
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues to develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Creative thinker and resourceful problem-solver who can quickly identify pros/cons, potential risks, and alternative solutions
