High Flying Foods is looking for a temporary, contracted Graphic Designer to immediately join our creative teamThis assignment will last approximately 5 months (September - January) with the potential to go full-time afterwards depending on workload. 

The Graphic Designer will support the Creative Director by executing an approved concept across the suite of deliverables.  This is a chance to work with a team, receive mentorship, contribute to recognized brands, and participate in a fast-paced environment.  The Graphic Designer must be creative, be able maintain brand style, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.  The position requires keen typographic skills as well as full knowledge of preparing files for export to print or digital use.  The appropriate candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

The applicant must be responsive and willing to take on deadline-driven projects.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with executing the visual ‘look and feel’ of existing campaigns across a number of mediums, including:  printed menus/signage, digital signage, infographics, emails, posters, handouts, promotions, newsletters, and other operational and marketing collateral.
  • Provide production support in re-formatting and re-sizing, as needed.
  • Create compelling design solutions within a growing internal creative department.
  • Manage multiple workflows in a deadline-driven environment
  • Design marketing materials that support several channels.
  • Assist in ensuring all communications across various channels and departments remain consistent and align with strategic company-wide goals.
  • Provide graphic support for internal communications.
  • Maintain image library and organizational hierarchy for image library.

Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise across print, typography, and iconography.
  • Excellent understanding of the design and print production process.  Experience with digital and interface design is a plus.
  • A degree in Graphic Design or other design-related field is preferred, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (most importantly InDesign).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Freehand illustration skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver exceptional design at high volumes under tight timelines.
  • Strong conceptual thinker.
  • Portfolio demonstrating both strong graphic design principles and technical expertise.

      Your Mission:

      What You’ll Need:  

      • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, technology or a related fine arts field. 

      • 2-5 years of experience in graphic design and knowledge of UX/UI best practices and industry trends (experience with UX related AB testing a plus). 

      • Must have app and/or web experience with a track record of strong design, proven execution, with expertise in HTML/CSS preferred.

      • You have experience at an agency or website.

      • You are familiar with user-experience best practices and have a proven track record in usable interfaces.

      To help us take our next step, we are looking for a driven Email Graphic Designer to help us continue our journey in the health and wellness market.

       

      Your Mission:

      BURST is looking for an Email Graphic Designer who can easily craft intuitive marketing experiences and user interfaces for email, text messaging, and digital platforms. You have experience designing both image-based and HTML-coded emails that are both marketing and transactional in nature. You will be responsible for the design and templating of emails, so the ideal candidate has experience with ESPs (Klaviyo, Iterable, Mail Chimp, etc.) HTML coding and templating conditional statements, and workflow building. You will report to our CMO and Design Director.

       

      What You’ll Do:

      • Deliver production for all assigned email communication needs, including preparing visual assets, creating mocks and templates, and making revisions
      • Create, manage, and optimize the content needed to operate multi-channel CRM campaigns (email and text messaging) that respect brand guidelines.
      • Have an understanding of best practices in responsive design, usability, accessibility, and email standards.
      • Sync with the CRM Copywriter to ensure the look and feel of all outgoing communications is in-line with the tone and voice of our overall CRM vision.
      • Create assets based on current market content and CRM campaigns’ goals and instructions.
      • Work with internal marketing teams and creative agencies to get both original creative and additional template work done and ensure that all content matches best practices.
      • Ensure all content is localized, copy edited, and abides by legal requirements.
      • Establish best practices on all types of content produced, propose regular optimization and testing scenarios (A/B), and implement a quality management process to ensure all content is consistently executed to spec.
      • Work on additional digital content within the CRM sphere - landing pages, email and text marking pop-ups, email preferences pages, digital imagery, etc.
         

      What You’ll Need:

      • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, technology, or a related fine arts field
      • 2+ years of relevant email/design experience with expertise in HTML/CSS preferred
      • 3-5 years of experience in digital graphic design, bonus for web and/or app experience
      • Experience working within ESPs (i.e. Chatitive, Iterable) for templating emails and workflows, HTML coding, and conditional statements to build emails, and adapt new designs based on previous campaign performance.
      • Demonstrable expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), or other tools of the trade.
      • Experience and knowledge of responsive email design and best practices for designing for mobile devices.
      • Strong understanding of technology and standard business software like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Basecamp, etc.
      • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team.
      • Motivated self-starter that requires minimal oversight and guidance
      • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • You are fast-paced and quick on your feet and ready to take on moving and fast deadlines.
