VP of Business Development (Fully Remote)
The VP of Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders. The VP of business development must have a proven track record in health care, retail health, technology, and pharma sectors, working with leading brands and agencies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success and driving business growth, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital advertising technology and market dynamics.
What You’ll Do:
Drive sales to enterprise and mid-tier brands across our suite of Throtle solutions: identity resolution, audience intelligence, customer data onboarding, and closed-loop measurement.
Identify, nurture, develop and negotiate new opportunities and strategic relationships with consumer brands and/or their respective agencies.
Use consultative and solution-selling skills to understand prospective client challenges and make compelling recommendations of how Throtle solutions address their business needs.
Develop and grow existing accounts, working in collaboration with our Customer Success team.
Ensure that we exceed customer expectations and lock-in renewals.
Support Finance in generating customer invoices and ensuring payment.
Keep Salesforce up to date (always), track key metrics, and communicate deal progress effectively internally.
Represent the voice of the customer to inform our sales process, marketing materials, and product roadmap.
Position will require that the individual understands all regulations and laws applicable to their assigned roles and responsibilities. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and regular maintenance of policies and procedures that govern the work of assigned roles and responsibilities, including compliance with the security requirements of ePHI.
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of successful, quota-carrying sales/business development experience with healthcare focused companies, brands and agencies, digital/programmatic media or other MarTech DaaS / SaaS sales.
8+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and obtaining meetings with new and existing VP, SVP, and C-level relationships within the healthcare space.
Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and experience working with payers, data providers, healthcare agencies, retail health customers, B2B health tech, and pharma.
Demonstrable understanding of management consulting, customer experience, technology, product development, and digital marketing within the healthcare space.

What We’re Looking For:

Job Summary
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will function as a data solutions and ad tech platform expert. This position will be responsible for supporting Throtle’s identity solutions and data onboarding including new client requests, platform implementations, and ongoing data monitoring. The position requires analytical thinking about each data request and assistance with any platform and/or technical challenge to ensure our clients are fully supported.
As a key stakeholder, the Technical Account Manager will interact with various internal teams including, Sales, Customer Support, DevOps, Data, and Applications Development members to support all data workflow processes, managing any issues until resolved. This position will report to Sr. Director, Data Operations and Integrations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Work directly with clients on the alignment of data files to support their identity solution use case.
Oversee work items queue communicating any match or onboarding requirements for new and existing clients to data and tech teams.
Support the Sales team in pursuit of new opportunities.
Ensure audience segments have been properly set up at the end platform for data ingestion.
Proactively monitor new and ongoing client solutions for issues or outages
Escalate any critical issues to upper management.
Become well-versed in all identity solution offerings expanding personal knowledge through independent efforts and with the support of your colleagues.

The Application Development Manager will be responsible for delivering Throtle’s suite of internal and external facing applications. From technical design to performance monitoring, you’ll own it all. Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll be working with Throtle’s client care and product teams to define requirements and identify areas for improvement. In addition, you’ll be providing guidance, mentoring, and defining the professional development of your team. This position is Hybrid. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the Office. Monday and Friday are remote.

You’ll need to be able to evaluate incoming data, perform specialized transformations, and standardize it for consumption by multiple processes. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and maintain ETL code that transforms data into various formats for storage and workflow/pipeline processing
Participate in data modeling
Assist in fine-tuning search queries and designing tables, views, indexes
Proactively monitor database systems ensuring availability and performance
Work with application developers in designing/implementing data workflows/pipelines
Solid problem-solving skills for data analysis & reporting
Participate in the testing process through unit testing and bug fixes
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years in a working environment utilizing RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle
Experience in building and maintaining data transformations (ETL) using SQL or scripting/programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java
Experience with large data sets – regularly transforming and querying tables or sets of 100 million records
