Big Data Engineer (Hybrid position)
 
Job Summary
 
As a Big Data Engineer at Throtle, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems that integrate with Throtle big data processing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems that meet the needs of our business.
 
 
Duties/Responsibilities
 
·       Design and develop software architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics platforms
·       Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and transformations using big data technologies such             as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related ecosystems
·       Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting, and optimize query performance and scalability
·       Design and develop software components that integrate with our identity graphs, client data, and keying processes
·       Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software systems meet business requirements and are scalable for future growth
·       Develop and maintain technical documentation for software architectures and designs
·       Ensure data integrity and quality in development process
·       Position will require that the individual understands all regulations and laws applicable to their assigned roles and       responsibilities. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and regular maintenance of policies and procedures that govern the work of assigned roles and responsibilities, including compliance with the security requirements of ePHI.

 
Required Skill and Abilities
 
·       Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and big data technologies
·       Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, or similar languages
·       Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms, including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related ecosystems
·       Knowledge of distributed computing concepts and experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex software architecture challenges
·       Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical designs and solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Education and Experience
 
·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
·       Master's Degree or certification in Software Architecture or a related field preferred but not required
·       5+ years of professional experience in software development, architecture, or a related field
·       Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as computer science, Engineering, or related field. 
·       Experience in data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, SQL and programming languages for building big data pipelines and transformations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining healthy, long-lasting customer relationships – and clients who become key advocates for Throtle.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives, closely managing customer expectations and delivering regular business reviews, ultimately enabling the client team’s successful adoption of Throtle solutions.
  • Marshall resources across the company as needed to support customer needs and solve for customer challenges.
  • Maintain a cadence of communications with customers (e.g., delivering regular business reviews).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales – serving as a subject matter expert on new deals, identifying opportunities for current account expansion, closing renewals, etc.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to inform our sales process, marketing materials, and product roadmap
  • Work with internal teams to oversee and monitor ongoing campaign performance, collect campaign metrics, and produce case studies for external marketing.
What We’re Looking For:
·       3+ years in a Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role collaborating with sales and managing client expectations
·       A solid understanding of online advertising and the AdTech/MarTech landscape
·       Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented; excellent listening skills

SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Hybrid Position-In Office Tuesday -Thursday)

The Software Engineer will be part of the team responsible for designing, developing, and operating the integrations that make Throtle’s data onboarding solution work.  The ideal candidate can work with teammates in troubleshooting problems, designing solutions, and assessing situations in real time.  Our team is empowered to keep our operations and client-facing systems highly available for our clients and internal teams.
   
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create tools and solutions to manage and monitor external integrations

  • Maintaining our existing code.  
  • Take part in performance & capacity monitoring and planning
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in backend software development 
  • Significant proficiency in one or more of these languages- Java, Golang
  • Experience in interacting with, and managing external APIs
  • Proficiency in Restful API Development 
  • Experience in containerization and scalable solutions 
  • Management of databases – PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.

Job Summary
 The Technical QA analyst will work closely with technical teams, including the Data team, to manage and deliver QA and Data Quality projects. ·       Ability to understand the data, recognize issues within data, contribute to solutioning, and support testing efforts.
·       UI/UX expertise is a plus.
·       Adept with test automation tools and frameworks (Postman, Selenium, JUnit etc.)
·       Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly, shift direction with just enough information and operate effectively in grey areas

Education and Experience
 
·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software Engineering or a relative field.
·       Experience with high volume transaction environments.
·       Experience using visual tools to ensure transparency in tracking key QA milestones.
·       Experience with various project methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

VP of Business Development (Fully Remote)
