Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced strong Product Leader who is also a technologist that is passionate about Kubernetes and understands the state of the industry and also understands commercial aspects of partners and community.  This person must have a deep understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies and Kubernetes ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and success of our cloud-native products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. As a Product Leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our customers' experience and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define, communicate, and drive a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market opportunities, particularly focusing on PLG and Kubernetes. Provide an opinion on where the industry is going.

  • Roadmap Development: Develop, maintain, and drive a product roadmap that outlines the evolution of our Kubernetes-based solutions and PLG initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer / community needs and business objectives.

  • Customer Insights: Collaborate closely with our customers to gather and analyze feedback, monitor market trends, and assess the competitive landscape. Together, we leverage these insights to make informed product decisions, ensuring our offerings align with and support our customers’ evolving needs and goals

  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are focused on delivering the highest value features and improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams.
  • PLG Initiatives: Drive Product-Led Growth strategies by identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience, streamline onboarding, and increase product adoption and retention.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Kubernetes to guide product development and ensure our solutions meet the needs of enterprise customers leveraging container orchestration.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, upcoming releases, and strategic direction.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a tech company, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and Product-Led Growth strategies.

  • Kubernetes Knowledge: Very deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is essential.  Strong ties and relationships in the Kubernetes community. 

  • PLG Expertise: Proven experience implementing and driving Product-Led Growth initiatives, with a track record of increasing product adoption and customer retention.

  • Technical Background: Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed product decisions.

  • Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present to executive leadership. Strong public speaker that can speak passionately, in a structured manner on products/projects.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.  Advanced degree is a plus.

  • Work with the demand generation team to help create and/or review content as needed for campaigns, including webinar abstracts, landing pages, emails, social posts, eBooks, infographics, tutorials, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years Experience with product marketing, preferably related to cloud technologies

  • Knowledge of open source technologies, bonus if you’ve previously used or worked in open source / cloud native technologies

  • Solid writing skills for technical topics, targeting technical practitioners or business stakeholders

  • Preferred: Experience with some or all of the following:

    • Linux command line

    • Linux desktop and server installation on desktop and server VMs

    • Basic IaaS cloud operations (e.g., AWS) via web UI, CLI, SDK, REST API)

About the Role

The base salary for this position ranges between $105,500 to $165,000. We're looking for someone with:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Cloud Security, IT Security, or related technical field preferred 

Cloud IAM Security Engineering Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in cloud security prevention, detection, response for public cloud systems (e.g. AWS, Azure) within a DevOps environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and operating cloud-based Identity and Access Management with AWS and Azure as code, including cloud organizations, account, identity, access secrets, role, and policy management for both humans and machines.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in securing identity and access controls for cloud-hosted Kubernetes clusters and their workloads (i.e. custom RBAC roles, workload identities, Open Policy, Operator Framework, Service Meshes, Hierarchical Namespaces ) with K8 service teams, preferably on AKS and EKS
  • Explicit hands-on experience using infrastructure-as-code (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) to manage cloud IAM service configurations, such as Azure Entra ID, Azure MyApps, Azure Policies, AWS Organizations, and AWS Organizations Service Control Policies (SCP).
  • Familiar with SAML2, OAuth2, and OIDC for Single Sign On (SSO) with federated identity access brokers (i.e. MyApps, Cognito, KeyCloak) for internal and external customer use.
  • Experience in detection engineering methodologies, such as building detection cases, proactively identify known and unknown cyber threats, advisory behavior
  • Experience in using security query or analytic tools for security data analysis, such as SQL, KQL, or SPL, to enable SecDataOps

  • Solid understanding of modern attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) against cloud provider, Kubernetes, and open source IAM services (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK, building threat intelligence, etc.)

ActioNetis seekinganAPI Developer for an immediate,a REMOTEopportunity with occasional travel(10%)to the Washington, D.C. area. This role requires U.S. citizenship to be eligible for federal government security clearance. 

 We are seeking an API Developer with a strong foundation in cloud technologies and a passion for growth in the field. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in API development, with a preference for those who have supported government projects. Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient APIs using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for API development

  • Develop high-quality API documentation and testing scripts to ensure seamless integration with other systems

  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate APIs with existing data pipelines and analytics platforms

Requirements: 

  • At least 3+ years of experience as an API Developer or similar role (e.g., software engineer, backend developer)

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API design principles, and API security best practices

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js) and familiarity with other languages (e. g., C++, Ruby)

  • Experience with API frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Express.js

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)

  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Requirements Investigation: Assess how new requirements and featuresfit into the automation test suite as well as understanding scope and estimate risk.Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet requirements.
  • Test Case Implementation: Develop new test cases at integration and component levels as necessary.
  • Test Planning: Create and execute comprehensive test plans.Present product quality on checkpoint meetings identifying risks, test gaps and test results.
  • Environment Monitoring: Monitor test environments, investigating failures and performance issues.
  • Automation improvement:Design, develop, and maintain functionality and infrastructure for the test tools and frameworks.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • At least bachelor’s degree in computer science,softwareengineering and management or similar field.
  • A genuineinterest in SW architecture from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/coding language.
  • Experience with containerized deployments and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
  • Experience from working in cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) with knowledge in the domain of infrastructure, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • The ability to articulatethecurrent status, blocking issues, and task estimates. 
  • The ability to work both as a team and as an individual. 
  • A strong sense of responsibility and good at taking initiatives. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Agile software development methods like SCRUM or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with metrics and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Experience in Test automation, API testing, and performance testing.
  • Experience of using Git, Github, and Jira.
  • Solid scripting and programming skills (JavaScript, NodeJS).
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to find unconventional solutions to problems and open minded to innovation and new solutions.

You’ll thrive as anInfrastructure Engineer if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging Cloud services in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
  • Hand-on experience building and scaling cloud services on either AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with container-centric architectures built with tools like Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, etc.), ECS, or Mesos.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloudformation.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. 

The current range for this role is $158,000 - $248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering technical innovation and career growth.

  • Build a team capable of supporting both developer enablement and quality assurance needs.
  • Developer Enablement:

    • Drive robust test automation strategies to enhance reliability and ensure consistent quality across releases.
    • Ensure comprehensive testing coverage, including functional, integration, and end-to-end tests, with an emphasis on SOA and microservices.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Team Alignment:
    • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to align automation strategies with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate on service integration testing, contract testing, and system-level quality initiatives.
    • Facilitate discussions on tooling, best practices, and automation priorities across teams.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven experience managing or leading technical teams in automation engineering or developer enablement.
    • Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks for SOA and microservices architectures.
    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
    • In-depth understanding of service integration testing, contract testing, and system reliability testing.
    • Demonstrated success in measuring and improving DORA metrics across teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with cloud-native technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS).
