About the role

Dremio is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive in Germany to manage a large region and drive sales of a category-defining product to Dax40 and gehobener Mittelstand customers. Individuals who excel at this job have the ability to generate pipeline (via email, phone, network, partner ecosystem), develop, and close business while focusing on the clients’ requirements. The Enterprise AE must be passionate about aligning our solution with the clients requirements and have the ability to negotiate and close large agreements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan

  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Dremio solution
  • Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
  • Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of sales experience selling data ecosystem software to enterprise customers

  • Track record of hitting annual quota 
  • Personal motivation to generate interest through consistent activity, pipeline development, consultative selling, and value based outcomes

What we’re looking for

About the role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to enhance Dremio’s data warehouse capabilities on top of the datalakes across all major table/file formats and object stores. About the role

The Sr. Partner Solutions Architect will help the Dremio Alliances team build an expansive Partner ecosystem that includes technology vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, NetApp, VAST Data, Pure Storage, MinIO, and other technology ecosystem partners. Dremio’s technology partners play a key role in extending core Dremio functionality and also in building innovative joint solutions for our customers across many use cases.

The Sr. Partner Solutions Architect will work with Dremio’s leading technology partners to help build differentiated and compelling integrations and solutions for our joint customers. The candidate will work directly with Dremio’s alliances, marketing, product, sales, and support teams and Dremio technology partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on product integrations with partners, provide technical guidance, evangelize joint solutions, enable and educate partner sellers, and be the trusted technical contact/advisor for Dremio partners.

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as Dremio technical leader and trusted adviser for Dremio cloud and technology partners.
  • Drive Dremio’s technical agenda with its top technology partners to help solve customers’ most pressing data and analytics challenges.
  • Provide Dremio architectural and technical guidance to partners and promote successful integrations with Dremio.
  • Communicate Dremio’s business model and current capabilities to partners while also developing new strategies and integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support Dremio technology partner initiatives.
  • Build technical assets such as whitepapers, blog posts, best practices documents, virtual hands-on labs, and quick-starts to accelerate the adoption of joint solutions.
  • Evangelize joint solutions and product integrations by speaking at conferences, webinars, and other marketing events.
  • Present Dremio’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors to partners, prospects,  and customers.
  • Partner with Dremio Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to continuously improve Dremio’s position in the marketplace.
  • Build assets to enable and train Dremio Sales Engineers on partner integrations and solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of industry experience w/minimum of four in a pre-sales/customer-facing role.
  • Broad range of experience with large-scale database or data warehouse technologies and/or business intelligence technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
  • Understanding of cloud architectures and services involving SaaS solutions with leading cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of on-premises/hybrid storage and/or data platforms, including NetApp, Pure Storage, VAST Data, and others.
  • Excellent presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
  • Experience architecting solutions with vendor technologies such as AWS, Azure, and other related technology vendors.
  • The attitude and ability to do what it takes to win!
  • Ability to identify and communicate how Dremio, working with its leading technology partners, can solve  customers’ most pressing analytics and data challenges.
  • Technically-savvy with proven ability to recognize opportunities for product integration, discuss product roadmaps and engage with product managers, service line owners, technical sellers and other constituencies.

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $190,000 per year. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including commissions and/or bonuses.

About the role

Dremio is looking for a highly capable and energized Technical Release Manager to help us build world class experiences for our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to define and drive release processes that span across all aspects of the company. You will work closely with Development, Product and Customer Support teams to execute on the product release strategy. About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineers to enhance Dremio’s data warehouse capabilities on top of the datalakes across all major table/file formats and object stores. These capability advancements will increase our competitive position in the market and enable Dremio adoption for a larger set of customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop core components for Dremio’s Datalake engine
  • Deliver key features and feature enhancements for our customers in the Datalake like DML operations, time travel, schema evolution along with performance and reliability improvements
  • Work with open source projects like Apache Iceberg, Parquet, Arrow and Calcite
  • Own design, implementation, testing, and support of next-generation features related to scalability, reliability, robustness, and performance of the product
  • Understand and reason about concurrency and parallelization to deliver scalability and performance in a multithreaded and distributed environment
  • Solve complex technical problems and customer issues while improving our telemetry and instrumentation to proactively detect issues before they arise and make debugging more efficient

What we’re looking for

  • PhD/M.S./B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing production-level software
  • Fluency in Java, C++ or another general-purpose programming language
  • Strong database fundamentals and understanding of distributed systems internals 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

What we’re looking for

  • 8-10+ years experience with the majority of experience in large enterprise as a Sales Engineer/Presales Solutions Architect
  • Knowledge of Databases, specifically MPP analytic databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong understanding of data architecture concepts, including data lakes, data virtualization, and data mesh principles
  • Working knowledge of Linux, comfortable installing, debugging and integrating applications on Linux platform
  • Strong experience and expertise in SQL queries, syntax, data modeling and optimization 
  • Knowledge of various data storage technologies, such as HDFS, Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, and relational databases
  • Experience with data integration techniques, including ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion, and data transformation
  • Familiarity with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, and Hive
  • Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization of Dremio queries and workflows
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and understanding of data visualization best practices
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to speak in front of audiences
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design and implement solutions to complex data challenges
  • Ability to design and lead the implementation of large-scale, enterprise-level data architectures
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective in building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
