Position Summary

A Principal Consultant is responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of performance management solutions to meet the client’s business and technical requirements. In this role, the Principal Consultant acts as the primary technical contact with full ownership of the relationship between OpenSymmetry and our clients from a technical perspective. In this role, you will work directly with our Fortune 500 client base with potential to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities in this role also include supporting and troubleshooting solutions for customers in a live production environment. Additionally, you may also work within the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Principal Consultants will work as mentors to junior team members while carrying out the tasks to perform investigations, root cause analysis, and defect resolution for our array of clientele.

Job Objectives:

 The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of complex configuration using SAP Incentive Management
  • Demonstrate the ability to configure Crystal reports within the SAP Incentive Management platform
  • Demonstrate experience in SAP Incentive Management Reporting, including embedded analytics, custom data models and views
  • Admin knowledge for report access and publications in SAP Incentive Management
  • Good knowledge on: Compensation rules and underlying attributes mapping
  • Configuration of web reporting portals (data extraction, load, testing, etc.)
  • Prepare mapping information, create procedures and packages, tables
  • Experience handling sub-reports
  • Should have experience in designing optimal reporting layouts
  • Have hands-on experience in SQL and Database table design
  • Good to have SAP commissions backend database tables knowledge
  • Own specific deliverables in any phase per assigned projects
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and whenever possible within requested timelines
  • Adapt communication appropriately with client, leader, and project team
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Make meaningful contributions to requirements and design documentation
  • Configure application per design specifications
  • Provide SIT / UAT Test phase support related to owned deliverables
  • Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices (such as SPM, incentive compensation, etc.)
  • Share knowledge with colleague / team members
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher / equivalent work experience
    • 6+ years of experience with Callidus/SAP Incentive Management system experience
    • 5+ years of experience in Callidus Reporting, especially Embedded Analytics, Custom data models and views
    • 4+ years of client facing / stakeholder management experience
    • BO Group creation, Production migration and validation
    • Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills
    • Prior consulting or support experience
    • Advanced skillsets in Excel / Spreadsheet software
    • Expert level communication skills including writing, listening, and speaking

Your impact

Handshake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer role on the Handshake Promotions Team. In this role, you will contribute to the team’s mission of driving Marketplace Outcomes like attributable hires, impressions and CTR to name a few, through product innovation; acquisition, and revenue generation. Your role

  • You will lead by example in maintaining a high standard of quality in your own work and in the feedback provided to peers in code review and architecture discussions.
  • You will lend your technical knowledge and experience to influence the team’s roadmap and prioritization of innovation and operational health initiatives such as quality control and on-call.
  • You will provide mentorship to engineers and unblock and support your team to meet deliverables.
  • You will lead sizable individual projects and projects that require multiple engineers.

  • You have experience as a full stack engineer with a focus on backend, and are confident driving architectural decisions on both frontend and backend.

Compensation range

$180,000 - $260,000

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain off-the-shelf and custom test automation frameworks for our C# and NodeJS based applications deployed to Kubernetes.
  • Improve code coverage for our unit, integration, stress and end-to-end testing.
  • Drive our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies,  automation, and efficiency.
  • Work directly with engineers on our backend and devops teams, our QA analysts, and operations and broadcast teams.
  • Perform manual testing for any backend systems that do not have automated tests in place.
  • Review customer feedback and telemetry from live broadcasts (logs, metrics, traces), to identify anomalies for the backend and infrastructure and create automated tests to find these problems prior to deployment

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in C# 
  • Demonstrated professional experience in automated testing frameworks for C# applications
  • Demonstrated professional experience in working with a scalable, resilient, enterprise level customer facing application

ABOUT YOU

  • Product Management Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a rapidly scaling startup. Experience working on platforms with complex technical dependencies is highly desirable.
  • Learning Technology Experience:You’re experienced with effective learning design and learning product development. You are fluent in applying new technologies to how people learn in ways that are thoughtful and effective. This could include experience with generative AI, learning simulations, assessment design, competency-based learning, project-based learning and more.

Your day-to-day

Together you’ll build and support a particular part of Monzo. Our product squads belong to our widercollectives(a word we use to describe self-governing business units of ~100 people). They are; Money, Borrowing, Fincrime, Customer Operations, Platform, Personal Banking & Business Banking. They’re all looking for additional Backend Engineers right now, we do a standard interview process across all our collectives and at the end we will find the best match for you based on your skills, experience, preferences and aligning with the business need! 

Our backend engineers have a variety of different backgrounds. As long as you enjoy learning new things, we’d love to talk to you. We do not ask for formal qualifications or degree requirements for any of our engineering roles.

This is a general posting for multiple Senior Data Engineer roles open across our 4-sided marketplace. You’ll get the chance to learn about the different problems Data Engineering teams solve as you go through the process. About the Team -

You will be joining a growing data engineering team and will tackle some of the most challenging and impactful problems that are transforming how people buy groceries every day. You will be embedded within a data-driven team as a trusted partner in uncovering barriers in the product’s usability and utilize these insights to inform product improvements that drive angle-changing growth. We’re looking for a self-driven engineer who can hit the ground running to ultimately shape the landscape of data across the entire organization.



About the Job

  • You will work closely with engineers and both internal and external stakeholders, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of working experience in a Data/Software Engineering role, with a focus on building data pipelines.
  • Expert with SQL and  knowledge of Python.
  • Experience building high quality ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Past experience with data immutability, auditability, slowly changing dimensions or similar concepts.
  • Experience building data pipelines for accounting/billing purposes.
  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Trino/Presto, or similar.
  • Adept at fluently communicating with many cross-functional stakeholders to drive requirements and design shared datasets.
  • A strong sense of ownership, and an ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions.
  • Experience working with a large codebase on a cross functional team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical engineering OR equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt (data build tool) and Airflow
  • Experience with data quality monitoring/observability, either using custom frameworks or tools like Great Expectations, Monte Carlo etc.

About the Role -

The Finance data engineering team plays a critical role in defining how financial data is modeled and standardized for uniform, reliable, timely and accurate reporting. This is a high impact, high visibility role owning critical data integration pipelines and models across all of Instacart’s products. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a key team shaping the post-IPO financial data vision and roadmap for the company.

About the Team -

Finance data engineering is part of the Infrastructure Engineering pillar, working closely with accounting, billing & revenue teams to support the monthly/quarterly book close, retailer invoicing and internal/external financial reporting. Our team collaborates closely with product teams to capture critical data needed for financial use cases.

 

Growth Data and Marketing

About the Role - 

The Growth Data and Marketing team is an integral piece of Growth at Instacart, and is directly responsible for modeling the Paid Marketing world to ensure accurate and timely data. This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining data infrastructure that supports the performance and optimization of paid marketing campaigns. You will be at the center of driving data-driven decisions for paid marketing strategies.

About the Team -

The Growth Data and Marketing team is part of the Growth Systems org, working closely with Frontend and Backend Engineering, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning teams to drive and support key data decisions to dictate product, partnerships. Our team works closely with product and marketing teams to ensure the right data is used at the right time to drive key business metrics.
