  • Conception et développement de plateformes utilisant Drupal, en collaboration au sein d'une équipe et avec un haut niveau de sécurité et de qualité.
  • Participation à l'avant-projet technique des projets Drupal, depuis l'analyse jusqu'à la conception.
  • Engagement dans l'amélioration continue, y compris les tests automatisés, l'intégration continue et le déploiement efficace.
  • Contribution aux initiatives transversales d'Eolas, enrichissant notre portefeuille de solutions.
  • Élaboration et partage de meilleures pratiques de développement au sein de notre communauté interne.
  • Réalisation d'audits techniques pour optimiser nos processus internes.

Qualifications

  • Expérience solide avec Drupal versions 7 à 10, incluant les migrations entre versions.
  • Aptitude à travailler en synergie avec les équipes, à guider techniquement et à communiquer efficacement.
  • Capacité à former et accompagner des développeurs moins expérimentés
  • Familiarité avec Gitlab, Jira, SonarQube, Composer, ainsi que les pratiques de monitoring applicatif (ex. Sentry, Newrelic).
  • Connaissance du développement frontend, de l'accessibilité web, de l'écoconception et des standards de qualité web.

About The Position 

As a Senior Software Engineer at KIPP, you will play a critical role within the Application Development team, which is responsible for the development and support of custom-built applications, as well as the integration of products and solutions developed by external vendors. You will be deeply involved in designing and developing applications that directly impact the education and success of thousands of students across the country, while overseeing the integration of systems to ensure seamless data flow across the organization. This role also comes with responsibility for application support, ensuring the ongoing functionality and stability of systems. 

In this position, you will collaborate closely with KIPP Foundation stakeholders and internal teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that power KIPP’s growth and enable smarter decision-making. You'll provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring that projects meet KIPP’s high standards and align with its technology strategy. 

The Application Development team, part of Technology Team, thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. The team works closely with various departments, focusing on creating technology solutions that enhance the journey of KIPP students. 

 

Responsibilities 

Application Design and Development 

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to scope user requirements and align technical solutions with KIPP's mission of improving student outcomes. 

  • Provide subject matter expertise in developing new features for existing applications and determining the appropriate platforms for new initiatives. 

  • Propose a comprehensive architecture to solve business requirements, ensuring alignment with KIPP’s overall technology strategy and framework. 

  • Design and develop information architecture and navigation layouts, prioritizing usability and user adoption to enhance the user experience. 

  • Customize and enhance applications across multiple technology platforms to meet KIPP's operational needs. 

  • Oversee and review technical designs and code produced by consultants, ensuring quality and alignment with KIPP’s standards. 

  • Ensure comprehensive unit testing and participate in the user acceptance testing process to deliver high-quality applications. 

DevOps and Deployment 

  • Oversee the deployment pipeline, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery of applications across development, staging, and production environments. 

  • Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code changes while maintaining system stability. 

  • Manage and automate the release process, implementing practices to minimize downtime and reduce risk during deployments. 

  • Ensure all environments (development, staging, production) are properly configured and optimized for performance, availability, and security. 

  • Monitor the health and performance of applications and infrastructure, addressing issues proactively to ensure high availability and system integrity. 

  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data and application continuity. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain version control, manage code repositories, and handle branching and merging strategies efficiently. 

  • Work with the operations team to maintain servers and manage infrastructure scaling and optimization. 

Application Support and Infrastructure 

  • Serve as Tier II support for unresolved application issues, working closely with the Helpdesk Technician to provide timely and efficient solutions. 

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other IT team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment. 

  • Collaborate with the IT Operations team to ensure that applications are patched, upgraded, and fully operational during scheduled maintenance windows. 

  • Develop processes, in collaboration with the IT Operations team, to ensure data security, high availability, and effective disaster recovery strategies. 

Documentation 

  • Provide written design documents and regularly update documentation with as-built information for accuracy and continuity. 

  • Maintain thorough documentation of the Application Development infrastructure, including server and database inventories, application licenses, and related technical resources.

Experience and Qualifications 

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience in software development is mandatory, with a strong emphasis on hands-on development, architecture, integration projects, delivering complex solutions, and proven technical leadership. 

  • Expertise in building and enhancing applications within Salesforce, including APEX, Flows, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and SOQL is requiredfor this role

  • Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as C#, along with front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. 

  • Experience with database management, including SQL Server, BigQuery, and data modeling, as well as integration through API endpoints (OAuth2). 

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments. 

  • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure) and managing application infrastructure for high availability. 

  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress), marketing tools (HubSpot), system integration tools (SSIS), and identity management with OneLogin. 

  • Proficient in project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office 365, and Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, report, and resolve defects, inconsistencies, and issues in Medallia survey data collection, reporting, and analysis.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for repetitive and critical test cases to enhance testing efficiency, as well as stay current with Medallia platform enhancements and industry best practices in quality assurance.
  • Ensure updates to the Medallia platform do not negatively impact existing functionality; Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and processes for audit and reference.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-12 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on web-based applications and data validation.
  • Proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, JAWS).
  • Skilled in defining internal quality control standards and maintaining reliability programs in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in or with the Federal Government. Knowledge of VA/DHA/HHS practices is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with Medallia platform configurations and configuration quality assurance testing.
  • Experience integrating customer experience management systems with third-party solutions, such as Salesforce and Qualtrics Platform Configurations.

      **Key Responsibilities**

      - Work effectively with and build relationships between yourself and the developer teams that you manage, even if the individuals on your teams do not report directly to you. You are the point person between developers, QAs, project managers, and product designers.

      - Manage & drive product initiatives and associated features and be able to effectively manage your dev teams’ backlogs to match those priorities. This includes taking part in product planning and roadmap creation.

      - Account for the customer’s voice when making changes or improvements to the product. Consider customer needs by reviewing customer existing data in Power BI, Salesforce, and Pendo. Be proactive about requesting research from the UX research team and conducting competitive analyses as needed. 

      - Focus on **self-serve onboarding** for customers and end-users across the platform, including onboarding for the full platform and various channels.

      - Work closely with project managers and dev managers on your teams to create sprint plans and manage the team workloads.

      - Be able to write clear and detailed product initiatives, feature/epics, story’s, design requests, and bug tickets within Jira for developers, product designers, QA/QE team members.

      - The Product Manager works closely with design and developers with ideas of what is needed by customers, to provide clear direction.

      - Attend or lead meetings and refinement/grooming sessions for product feature stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on upcoming or current product changes.

      - Participate in ideation and discovery sessions for product initiatives and features.

      - Product Design, Product Research, Product Marketing, and Product Managers drive these sessions.

      - Review and include NPS, customer feedback via Pendo, customer escalations, and partner suggestions into your dev team’s backlogs.

      - Integrate feedback on **packaging**, **billing**, **system admin reporting**, and **broader administrative and provisioning** experiences.

      - Identify and communicate potential issues with priorities or sprints to product leadership.

      - Collaborate and communicate with other product managers at Nextiva to ensure everyone is aware of your dev teams’ efforts and how it may affect the work of other teams. Facilitate guild meetings to accomplish this.

      - Keep the Product Marketing team in the loop on product releases. You will work closely with them on market research, product positioning, and customer communication.

      - Work closely with Customer Support; help write how-to articles and contribute to runbook creation.

      - Support internal and external training efforts.

      - Be a self-starter; this role will often be self-directed, requiring an individual with a can-do attitude who is willing to learn new skills and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

       

      **Qualifications**

      - 8-10 years’ experience in a Product Manager or Project Manager role at a technology company.

      - Bachelor's degree.

      - Deep understanding of customer needs, market offerings, competitive position, feature requirements, and business model to ensure a viable & profitable product.

      - Ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple competing priorities.

      - Training and presentation experience with stakeholders or coworkers.

      - Experience working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-profile product features.

      - Familiarity with **packaging products in tiers, user management, tenant provisioning, dashboard reporting,** and **analytics**.

      - Ability to deliver projects quickly, reacting to tactical high-impact changes that require strategic solutions.

      - Meticulous attention to detail, which shows throughout your completed Jira tickets and other tasks.

      - Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills.

      - Leadership, ownership, conflict resolution, and accountability must be strengths.

      - Excellent time and project management skills.

      - Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

      - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

      - High proficiency in instructional writing and technical writing; as it relates to writing product briefs as well as Epic and Story tickets for developers, product designers, and QAs.

      This role is key to helping our clients succeed with Drupal by providing Quality Assurance coverage of projects and deliverables, through a delivery model focused on best practices, standards, and Acquia products.

      Responsibilities:

      • Follow manual and automated testing best practices in testing of features and bugs as part of development lifecycle
      • Work as part of an Agile team in preparing Quality Assurance strategies, plans, and test scenarios based on customer requirements
      • Participate in all aspects of the software development life-cycle, ensuring that functional requirements are converted into high-quality, working application components that meet specifications.
      • Assure delivery of high quality code by raising quality issues, tracking their progress, and validating resolution 
      • Manage metrics and reports of project quality for ongoing review with Project Manager and stakeholders
      • Accountable for validating of the quality of technical artifacts before they are delivered
      • Participate in client meetings and workshops, as required
      • Estimate the amount of work required to deliver requirements
      • Report on blockers and collaborate with team members to reach resolution
      • Ad Hoc duties as assigned

      Skills and Attributes:

      • 1-3 years experience in quality assurance role
      • Experience in testing of moderate to complex web implementations and CMS-based solutions like- Drupal, Wordpress, Zoomla, Magento, Sitecore etc
      • Experience in testing for responsive design across multiple devices and browsers
      • Experience with manual testing tools and frameworks such as BrowserStack, CrossBrowser Testing; 
      • Keen attention to detail, with ability to break down customer requirements into logical test scenarios covering functional and non-functional aspects
      • Skilled at collaborating with team members and partners in a matrixed environment
      • Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate asynchronously in a multi-time zone environment
      • Commitment to delivering high-quality software on time
      • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

      Nice to have

      • Drupal experience preferred.
      • Experience and interest in automated testing and continuous integration a plus
      • Experience and interest in Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban, with tools such as JIRA a plus
      • Experience with test case management tools such as Zephyr preferred.
