About the Team

The Support Operations Group is a high-impact, team of software engineers, program managers, data analysts and product specialists. We are responsible for building intelligent automation systems that allow our customers to get maximum value out of the Cloudflare product. We provide tooling that enhances business efficiency for our internal customer facing teams while ensuring that our customers have a great experience at the forefront of all our efforts. 

We work in an environment with short iterations, clear success metrics and a sustainable pace. We are a small team meaning you will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact from day one.

What you’ll do

Our applications generate a lot of data and it's the Data Analysts responsibility to detect patterns, extract significance, and communicate results. You will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards used at the org, team, and IC level that identify business opportunities to deliver the maximum impact to our top level objectives. Data driven decision making is one of our core principals, and as a Data Analyst your efforts will directly help shape the direction of work for all teams in our organization. 

Responsibilities

As a member of a rapidly growing and evolving team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop compelling dashboards and automated reporting of key performance insights that can be used by the Support team
  • Independently explore data to uncover trends and anomalies relevant to the assignment.
  • Work closely with Support leadership to report on key business metrics to spot trends and answer important questions 
  • Help the product team to prioritize work by leveraging available data to identify high impact opportunities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including finance, HR, and others to deliver data required for monthly business reviews 
  • Participate in the early stages of projects to ensure that we always have success metrics defined
  • Continue building a culture that is data driven and measurable decision making
  • Develop and maintain processes to organize and compare disparate data sets

Requirements

  • Skilled at writing SQL to query relational databases; knowledge of R or Python is a plus
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Amplitude, Google Analytics and/or Looker Data Studio (or any other BI tools)
  • Ability to handle a high priority initiative with a keen focus on data accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Experience creating dashboard visualizations 
  • Applied critical thinking and problem solving  to deliver insights and recommendations based on the reports you will create
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

We are looking for talented Systems Reliability Engineers to build and operate our Edge platform running in more than 320 cities in over 120 countries. What You'll Do

We are looking for a strong candidate to join our team as part of the Finance & Business Operations Organization. As a key team member of a high-visibility organization, this role will provide both technical and operational support to Cloudflare’s Global Commissions Tooling & Strategy. Locations: Remote US & Canada 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support Strategic Direction, Product Vision, Customer Discovery, Feature Prioritization & Cross-functional alignment for Cloudflare’s Commission Tech Stack 
  • Identify & implement leading practice architecture and build techniques, optimizing for scalability, useability, flexibility and analytical intelligence 
  • Coordinate with the ICM team and managed services resources, leveraging each contributor's unique skills to execute and implement builds, enhancements and testing, eventually taking ownership once the solution is functionally complete. 
  • Support the implementation of robust and thorough change management processes and testing framework 
  • Employ a ‘business-focused’ approach to technical work; learn, understand and speak the language of key stakeholders and business partners 
  • Plan and execute appropriate testing (e.g. test plans, test cases, and test scripts) to comprehensively test assigned enhancements to business applications. 
  • Review and analyze application performance, to provide enhancement recommendations and process improvements.

About You: 

  • 4+ years of Product Management, Technical Project Management, Consulting, or Incentive Compensation Administration; experience with a Saas business model preferred 
  • Firm grasp of the commission administrative process flow, including plan document distribution and tracking; transaction crediting; incentive calculations; payment file preparation; and issue resolution 
  • Experience or understanding of commissions-specific SOX Controls  Experience with Varicent, Anaplan ICM, Xactly, CaptivateIQ or a similar ICM tool 
  • Experience with SQL platforms and queries 
  • Preferred: Familiarity with services such as EC2 and S3 and experience working with large-scale, complex datasets; coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Perl, Java, etc)

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Design Automation expertise for the firm.  You will report to the Design Technology Manager and work with other key leaders across the firm to ensure strategies are in alignment with firm goals and expectations.  You will collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and develop and implement a strategy to ensure Cannon Design is leading the industry in bringing the practice and our clients the best-in-class parametric, computational, automation focused design tools.
 
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Understand the range of design automation tools that exist across the AEC industry and have some level of expertise in these tools. These include computational and generative design tools but also various workflow automation tools.
  • Determine the best way to bring design automation tools to practice as well as leading the firm to standardize on a range of tools. Ensure quality assurance, process documentation, and define key performance indicators.
  • Build technical expertise across the firm in these tools and be responsible for continuing education around the same.
  • Determine new technologies as they pertain to design automation, computational and parametric design & machine learning for the AEC environment and build firm technical expertise around this approach.
  • Work with management to prioritize new business models.
  • Drive research and development into emerging technologies as they filter across the AEC industry
  • Be an internal and external thought leader on related topics.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Other duties as required.
 
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s Degree Interactive Media Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related fields required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • A total of 6 years of related experience required which includes:
    • 4 years of experience with Grasshopper, Dynamo, Autodesk Forge platforms required.
    • 4 years of experience Python, C# preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the AEC industry.
  • Business acumen and ability to execute strategy.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and lead a team.
 
The salary range for this position is $83,600 to $104,500 annually.  This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs. The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $260,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire.
