What you’ll do:

  • Assess incoming requirements to determine necessary changes on the C# (web service) or SQL (database operation) side.
  • Collaborate directly with customers, troubleshoot data-related issues, and ensure accurate data delivery and reporting.
  • Analyze database tables, optimize indexing, and ensure efficient data handling for large data pools.
  • Support and troubleshoot web service endpoints for performance and efficiency, ensuring seamless back-end operations.
  • Coordinate closely with a well-liked support team, maintain positive relationships, and provide a customer-centric experience that keeps users engaged and informed.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years of relevant back-end developer experience
  • Oracle PL/SQL Expertise: Advanced ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize database structures; Oracle skills are essential for this role.
  • ASP.NET Core & C# Proficiency: Experience with ASP.NET Core for backend web service development, with C# for related services.
  • IIS Server Management: Competency in deploying and maintaining applications on IIS servers.
  • DevOps Familiarity: Working knowledge of Jenkins and Octopus for deployment pipelines.
  • Scripting Skills: Experience with PowerShell or equivalent languages for scripting and automation.
  • Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze data issues, work through complex backend procedures, and independently identify and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Self-Starter with Ownership Mindset: Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and own tasks from start to finish without requiring step-by-step direction.
  • Personable and Positive Attitude: Effective, friendly communication skills with the capacity to handle customer inquiries with patience and professionalism.

Aetos LLC is seeking a Senior ETL Data Engineer team member to join an existing team providing Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions to a government client. The ideal individual will have 5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Must be responsible for successful technical delivery and support of Data Warehousing, Data Migration and Transformation, and Business Intelligence projects using an Agile project management methodology. The duties of this role will include all aspects of data processing, storage, and ingestion, as well as data analysis and visualization of relative multi-program data. 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:  

ETL/Data Warehouse: 

  • Create, maintain, and reverse engineer the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures for the Data Warehouse (DW) environment using the Informatica PowerCenter suite. 
  • Perform analysis of RDBMS tables and PowerCenter objects to answer questions pertaining to the data warehouse and the data transformations. 
  • Create and maintain scripts and files that perform various functions on the Informatica integration servers.  Use Putty or other Unix text editor to maintain Linux environment.  
  • Maintain data model documentation (ERwin) if changes to the ETL require database changes, and develop, test, and deploy associated DDL.  
  • Manage releases of changes to ETL, scripts, DDL, and scheduling components from Development to Test to Production.   
  • Provide support for the Test, Certification, and Production DW environments.  
  • Maintain Consolidated Data Model (CDM).  
  • Any knowledge of Informatica Cloud Integration Services a plus 
  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of financial data marts and enterprise data warehouse using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data, structured query language skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.  
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved delivery of data supporting agency financial operations and mission.   
  • Convert business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified ETL, analyses, reporting and visualizations.  
  • Define and log work using JIRA.  
  • Participate in recurring team meetings (Agile). 

Education & Qualifications Required:   

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or commensurate experience in a related field.   
  • 5 + years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter at development level (creating mappings, workflows, etc). 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in ETL development support and maintenance. 
  • Strong SQL (Oracle) abilities. 
  • Proficiency in shell scripting 
  • ETL environment where Salesforce a source a plus 
  • ETL environment where Control-M used a plus 
  • 2+ years of Informatica PowerCenter administration.  If in a Linux environment a plus.

The Role

Job Description

Under the general direction of the Manager, is responsible for activities related to development, maintenance and enhancements of supported business applications. Assignments typically include applications analysis, design, development, integration, unit testing, and implementation activities in compliance with established department and corporate policies, procedures and methods. Works with vendors and service providers to insure stability and reliability of associated systems.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develops and maintains application systems to ensure timely access to accurate, real-time data. 
  • Maintains enterprise application programs for internal and external ISO workflow and control functions.
  • Develops and implements unit tests and code review processes related to all supported applications.
  • Creates and maintains documentation and procedures related to the maintenance and operation of application systems.
  • Develops specifications and procures new applications that support ISO internal and external users.
  • Coordinates with various departments to support changes or additions to applications in accordance with ISO Change Management policies and procedures. 
  • Interacts with vendor staff in the implementation of new systems and modifications to existing business applications.
  • Analyzes, supports, and resolves real-time computer hardware, software and database issues in a time sensitive -environment. 

Qualifications

Level of Education and Discipline:

A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Amount of Experience:

Equivalent years of education and training, plus five (5) or more years related experience.

Type of Experience:

Experienced in all areas of software engineering including design, development, analysis and data modeling.

Experience implementing Java/J2EE Technologies.

Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle technologies.

Experience with Source Control Systems ( bitbucket/Git), automated tests and continuous integration & Deployment (CI & CD)

Design techniques such as Domain-Driven Design, Design by Contract, and Domain Specific Languages. Designing object-oriented components and coding algorithms.

Familiarity with waterfall, Agile methodologies.

Development and production implementation experience with spring, Kafka and/or Active MQ highly desired.

Experience in any of the following development technologies is strongly desired:

  • Java frameworks (Hibernate, spring)
  • Web Application Servers (JBoss, Spring boot)
  • SOA (ESB, Web Services) and Application/Web Services Security Design Patterns
  • Testing Tools (SOAP UI)
  • Testing Frameworks (JUnit, jMock, Selenium)

About the Role

  • Contribute to the development and execution of Self-Serve or PLG strategies, ensuring the company’s systems and operations support a seamless customer journey from trial to purchase.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance metrics such as pipeline health, conversion rates, sales velocity, and customer retention.
  • Analyze revenue data to provide insights that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by providing historical trends and scenario analyses.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current revenue operations processes and implement scalable solutions that improve workflow and productivity.
  • Develop and enforce best practices around data hygiene, pipeline management, and reporting accuracy.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or a related role in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience setting up and optimizing CRM workflows, lead scoring, product management, and contract automation.
  • Experience with Self-Serve or Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of territory/account management, especially with non-geographic rules of engagement for SMB/MM and geographic-based territories for Enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience in building reports and dashboards, with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new campaign development processes while anticipating potential future use cases to ensure long-term scalability in solution design.
  • Become an expert in our client and campaign data, leveraging SQL to identify trends in client populations to deliver campaigns that drive value to their business. 
  • Own and operate core client data pipeline — including building standardized data models, managing client data discussions, and reviewing data for accuracy.
  • Execute on operational tasks, such as building, reviewing and approving drafted Campaigns, Templates, and Automation scripts to ensure they drive intended business outcomes.
  • Act as the technical representative of +Oscar in relevant client calls, ensuring campaigns are scoped effectively and clients understand relevant technical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in a cross-functional role in technology or operations, including work with product/engineering teams.
