Position Summary:

The Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-centric initiatives within the organization, transforming raw data into valuable insights that inform key business strategies. Our Paid Marketing team is looking for a highly analytical and fast-moving marketer to join our Performance Marketing Team. About the Job 

  • Manage Paid Shopping campaigns end-to-end, including but not limited to: campaign ideation & builds, budget allocation, ongoing bid optimizations, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Find new opportunities to improve scale and efficiency; drive rigorous and iterative experimentation roadmaps across elements such as feeds, targeting, ad formats, bidding strategies, landing pages, etc. 
  • Continually monitor feeds, making sure they are healthy at all times. 
  • Work closely with Data Science, Marketing Analytics, and MarTech on measurement, attribution, incrementality testing, and identifying requirements for new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand and execute on marketplace trends & seasonal events.
  • Effectively communicate channel performance and test learnings to the broader Marketing team and relevant stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Deliver against aggressive growth goals across a suite of metrics (CPA, ROI, ROAS, etc).

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing experience, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Shopping programs
  • Experience working with product catalogs of over 10k+ SKUs and identifying high-impact feed optimization opportunities.
  • A strong analytical mindset with deep knowledge of attribution systems & cross-channel attribution, AB testing, and incrementality.
  • Proven track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and develop actionable insights for key business outcomes.
  • Highly proficient in Excel/ Google Sheets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, putting creative problem solving skills to use.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 4+ years in a consulting role or relevant Industry experience (Life Sciences, Finance, Sales, Commercial Planning, Supply Chain, Operations)
    • 2+ years of Certified Architect experience in Anaplan, Pigment or similar EPM technologies (Planful, Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, Board, OneStream, etc.), participating in all key activities from the beginning of a project lifecycle through ongoing support, following an agile project methodology

      Your experience and skills:

      Pay Transparency:

      The base pay for this role is: $158,400 - $207,900 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

      Responsibilities

      • Works with team and manager to impact longer term strategies and roadmap
      • Sets shorter term roadmap for team
      • May manage data scientists and/or analysts
      • Interacts and collaborates closely with data and business counterparts across functional areas
      • Researches, develops, and maintains data pipelines, statistical/ML models, and/or advanced analyses
      • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      • 4+ years of industry or other quantitative technical fields (which may include academia).
      • 3+ years of work experience working with SQL, R, and/or Python to query, manipulate and analyze data
      • 3+ years experience building data models, using more advanced analytics methods, statistical modeling, and/or data processing

      The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $80,800 - $106,050 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $72,700 - $95,445 per year.       Responsibilities

      • Analyze data to support business teams in making better informed, data-driven decisions
      • Use data to tell a story that non-technical colleagues will understand, including packaging and presenting findings
      • Oversee the creation and maintenance of essential operational and analytical dashboards, and update and enhance them as our user's needs evolve
      • Create models and tools that produce relevant insights to identify inefficiencies and generate insights to remove inefficiencies
      • Collaborate across the organization to identify actions to achieve improvements and monitor initiative impact
      • Support other projects as assigned to meet our needs

      Qualifications

      • 2+ years of SQL, experience with the ability to filter, aggregate, and build CTEs
      • 1+ years of technical work experience using visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Periscope, etc.
      • 1+ years demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into relevant insights with a structured and systematic thought process
      • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, around business reporting impact and requirements, as demonstrated by experience on at least 2 reporting projects requiring communication between technical and non-technical users
      • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel skills, with ability to use VLookup, nested if statements and connected Sheets

      Bonus Points

      • 1+ years experience in preparing healthcare analytics and reporting
      • 1+ years experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or a provider organization (ACO, CIN, MSO etc.)
      • 1+ years experience developing dashboards and working with Looker, or other business intelligence/data visualization tools
