Role Summary

We are looking for an extremely technical Product Manager for our SASE device client, Cloudflare WARP, the primary end user onramp for our Cloudflare One business. You will lead all efforts related to both the desktop and mobile client, partnering closely with engineering, sales, customers, support and design.

Role Responsibilities

In this large and highly visible role, you will shape the Cloudflare WARP product as it relates to our Zero Trust SASE business. You will work to ensure the client software, which sits on the devices of millions of users, is inclusive and accessible to all. You will solve problems that have wide impact and significance, shaping the future of security on the Internet.

We operate with very small teams of highly motivated, technical, and experienced engineers. You need real world experience shipping and supporting applications on all major platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux Android, iOS), what deployment of software looks like in large enterprises, and the ability to help customers troubleshoot complex deployment issues. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Write requirements documents and work with engineering and design to build, ship, and support enterprise class software
  • Join pre-sales and post-sales calls with customers, sales, support, etc., to assist with, and help understand all phases of the customer lifecycle
  • Support a global engineering, sales, support, customers and partners with a flexible schedule (expect normal North America working hours with occasional calls to support APJC and Europe)
  • Work in a fast paced, dynamic and interrupt driven environment
  • Have deeply technical conversations with engineering and customers about:
    • Operating system APIs, client applications and low level networking
    • Topics like VPNs, Routing, DNS, Firewalls, Client/Server architectures
    • Enterprise desktop software deployment and release cycles

Requirements

  • 5-10 years working as a product/program manager shipping desktop enterprise software or relevant experience (server software, operating systems, etc.)
  • Experience as a PM or Engineer working with operating system APIs and low level networking functions
  • Technical depth with VPNs, DNS, Firewalls, Client/Server architecture, Routing
  • Excellent customer facing skills (empathy, problem solving, clear and succinct communicator)

Bonus

  • Shipping kernel drivers or other low level programming experiences
  • Familiarity with pieces of SASE/SSE such as DLP and TLS Decryption 
  • Experience shipping mobile enterprise software

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $170,000 - $208,000
  • For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $192,000 - $234,000
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $202,000 - $246,000
