The Role
As a Regulatory Intelligence Associate at Redica Systems, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing the global regulatory landscape within the life sciences industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in global regulatory intelligence activities, including monitoring, acquiring, tracking, and categorizing information related to the evolving global regulatory landscape within the life sciences industry.
  • Maintain a thorough awareness of all current and relevant regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of GXP to proactively identify, categorize, and analyze regulations, rules, and guidance document changes.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and assess emerging trends in the pharmaceutical and med tech regulatory environments.
  • Conduct data quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of regulatory data.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicator (KPI) metrics related to regulatory activities.
  • Ensure that all data acquisition and processing processes are clearly defined and consistently followed, while also recommending and implementing improvements where necessary.

As well as building these models, you will play an active role in improving and extending our analytics tooling.

  • Develop and refine risk, demand, and market models using statistical techniques and actuarial methods

You will partner with the Street Pricing and Pricing, Tooling, & Modelling teams in initiating and driving the vision, strategy, and deliverables to meet key objectives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

What we are looking for

You will use a combination of outstanding analytical reasoning, business acumen, and technical skills to bring the risk, demand, and market models to an implementable, technical price. You will use your ability to analyse and understand complex data to drive decisions on technical pricing models. You will have strong cross-functional skills and will be comfortable working closely with both actuarial and non-actuarial teams. You should be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Pricing, Tooling & Modelling team to review, challenge, and contribute to the development of risk, demand, and market models
  • Develop the implementable, technical price based on the underlying models taking a mid- to long-term view of performance, external trends, costs etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the Street Pricing team to bring the technical price to market, with required commercial adjustments.
  • Define and drive the Pricing Sophistication Strategy and Roadmap for Zego including a continuous monitoring of the performance of all technical prices
  • Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs aimed at the forward looking performance of each book, including the expected, prospective rating strength
  • Analyse insurance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvements

  • Developing outreach and education materials related to ecological forestry in print and digital formats.
  • Engage and serve current members while attracting new members through field trips, conference calls, meetings, and virtual events.
  • Assist with training for Guild field crews and youth corps participants.
  • Coordinating events and leading workshops and field trips.
  • Convene and facilitate collaborative and community meetings.
  • Representing the Guild at collaborative partnership meetings, events, and conferences
  • Some field work may be required, as needed, to assist with ecological monitoring and field inspections of forest restoration projects and to visit Guild field crews and youth corps crews on difficult or hazardous terrain, and in other physically demanding environments.
  • Manage project workflow and collaborate with a team using software such as Asana, Slack, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain relationships with diverse project partners across the region.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in eastern forest ecosystems and communities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a natural resources or environmental science related field OR related experience
  • Experience with graphic design and producing print and digital media content
  • Experience planning and facilitating workshops and other meetings or trainings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite design software
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • The drive to strengthen and expand forest stewardship
  • A positive attitude
  • Competency with using Adobe design software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You ensure the technical excellence of the solutions that your team is responsible for delivering and guide the integration of those solutions within the portfolio of Torc’s products  
  • You are a leader within the team for the analysis of requirements and you contribute insights that go beyond the technical implementation details to anticipate potential challenges to delivery and feasibility of the solutions, and you drive decision making for trade-offs that exist in design and implementation  
  • You guide the creation of detailed software architecture design documents for robust, scalable, and long-lived machine learning solutions 
  • You develop and refine your team’s applicable coding standards and processes and ensure that the team’s deliveries adhere to those standards and processes   
  • You collaborate with team members to help integrate their contributions into the larger solution 
  • You provide rigorous feedback to your team members through the code review process to ensure that all contributions meet the team’s standards, and you provide constructive critiques and improvements that contribute to the continuous learning of the team 

What you’ll need to succeed:    

  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or engineering equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience   
  • Subject matter expert in Computer Vision and an advanced individual contributor professional   
  • Exhibiting competency in software development; testing code thoroughly, writing clear, maintainable code, and following the team’s defined software development processes including applicable coding standards and documentation practices  
  • Demonstrating high proficiency in machine learning development, data analysis, and data preparation; demonstrating commitment to producing elegant solutions that are thoroughly tested and follow the team’s defined machine learning development processes including applicable coding standards and documentation practices 
  • Working under high-level direction and informing the team’s technical direction 
  • Owning technical troubleshooting and incident recovery response processes including root cause analysis and counter measure implementation for the team components 
  • Providing and actively seeking mentorship opportunities for engineers on the team and contributing technical comments, performance feedback, and input to goals 
  • Proficient in Python, C++ 
  • Experience Working with PyTorch, TensorRT and OpenCV

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Proven sales experience in life sciences or similar, with capital equipment
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships
  • Extensive knowledge of NGS
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the area of Single Cell RNA Seq and/or Spatial Transcriptomics
  • Master’s Degree or PhD. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Experience of using a CRM system (Ideally SFDC)

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, economics or related areas, preferably with a Post-Graduate or Master’s degree in Taxation
  • Prior experience and proficiency with personal income tax compliance (including withholding taxes on payroll), with a consultancy background being considered a plus
  • Previous experience in Dutch and or German tax law (personal income tax), including expense reimbursement, benefits in kind and per diem management, considered a plus.
  • You have proven advisory and compliance experience across personal income tax and employment taxes, both local and cross-border (as well as with tax treaties)
  • You have strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
  • You keep track of recent updates in tax topics that are relevant for personal tax compliance (e.g. EESC Programme Taxation of cross-border teleworkers)
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders

Key responsibilities

  • Report to the (Senior) International Tax Manager and assist in the control of personal income tax compliance tasks (e.g. managing expense reimbursement requests, building and implementing expense policies, application for Special Tax Regimes, client queries around taxes, Employment-related tax tasks, equity, etc.) for all of Remote’s clients worldwide
  • To a smaller extent, work with tax advisors to prepare and submit opinions related to personal income tax or payroll obligations
  • Support the team in payroll tax audits and inspections worldwide
  • Monitor changes in tax law in several jurisdictions (EMEA, APAC, North America, Central and South America)

The base salary range may be subject to change.
