About the Job

As the Senior Manager of Security Engineering at Life360, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the systems, infrastructure, and data that power our mission to keep families connected and protected. This leadership position is instrumental in developing and executing strategies that ensure our platform's security at scale, enabling millions of users to trust us with their most important moments.

You will lead a dynamic team of skilled security engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that emphasizes technical excellence and proactive problem-solving. By implementing cutting-edge security measures, managing risk, and driving compliance, you’ll ensure that Life360’s infrastructure and services remain resilient against emerging threats.

Your contributions will directly support the team’s success by building a culture of security across the organization, enabling faster, safer product development, and instilling confidence in our users and stakeholders. This role is a unique opportunity to combine leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families worldwide.

The US-based salary range for this position is $181,000 to $266,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Security Engineering team, providing mentorship, direction, and fostering a collaborative environment to drive performance and growth.

Design and implement robust security architectures, processes, and tools to protect Life360’s systems, applications, and data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and IT, to integrate security best practices into development lifecycles and operational workflows.

Develop and execute security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and evolving threats.

Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and managing incident response plans to address security events.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager, Security Engineering role at Life360 is a visionary leader and technical expert passionate about building secure, scalable systems. We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in security engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset to strengthen our team and enhance organizational resilience.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8+ years experience in security engineering and people management
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing security engineering teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of security architectures, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and modern development practices.
  • Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, including experience with threat modeling and incident response planning.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work cross-functionally, effectively communicate complex technical concepts, and align security objectives with business goals.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: A track record of implementing innovative security solutions and staying ahead of evolving threats.
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.

As a Senior Marketplace Program Manageryou will be responsible for running the Marketplace Partner Program at Beekeeper.  You will have the unique opportunity to shape a growing partner ecosystem and create meaningful integrations that amplify our impact across industries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and manage day-to-day relationships with Marketplace Partners (incl. enablement, success, contract management, product integrations, and co-marketing initiatives.)
  • Identify, onboard, and nurture new Marketplace Partners to grow the Beekeeper Marketplace to increase our win-rates and product footprint
  • Closely collaborate with the product & engineering team that is in charge to evolve our integration blueprints for selected system categories that are adjacent to Beekeeper
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to generate demand for integrations in our Marketplace
  • Oversee implementation projects of integrations built with system integrators

What we are looking for

  • Experience: 5 years experience of managing technology partner programs, integrations, or marketplace strategies in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Communication & Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of API integrations and system interoperability between SaaS platforms. Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and technical partners
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to prioritize initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver measurable results

  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the frontline worker tech landscape. Specifically HRMS, LMS, Rewards & Recognition, Workforce Management, and ERP systems
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in analyzing partner performance data and translating insights into actionable strategies
