Job Description

The Senior QA Analyst role will leverage a detailed understanding of product quality and testing to enhance business processes and outcomes, ensuring that both technical and business requirements are met. The role aims to deliver high-quality solutions that satisfy the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and other team members to understand business requirements within their domain.

  • Work with Product Owners and Tech Leads to break down requirements and document them in epics, including defining acceptance criteria.

  • Identify potential risks and constraints where possible.

  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to defining acceptance criteria, plan testing strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Conduct manual testing to identify usability issues and ensure solutions meet user needs and are user-friendly.

  • Review test results and outstanding defects with stakeholders to confirm release readiness of deployed capabilities.

  • Work with Product Designers to identify critical user flows then collaborate with Development and Automated Testers to ensure critical user journeys are covered with automated functional end to end workflow tests in each domain and that these tests are kept up to date. 

  • Organize and conduct demos of completed work to stakeholders to demonstrate the business value of newly developed capabilities.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and controls and identify process gaps and focus on process improvement to ensure efficiency and alignment with business standards.

  • Ensure delivery artifacts are maintained and appropriate to support release management activities.

  • As part of continuous improvement, investigate and analyze defects to prevent future issues and conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying business issues and recommend preventive measures.

About the Role:

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in the Data organization, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that drive the strategic vision of Gusto’s Data initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with key business and technical stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver programs that optimize data systems and governance, advance Gusto analytics maturation and data product capabilities, and expedite the ability for Gusto leadership to make data-informed decisions. You will not only lead programs but also help shape data strategy, ready the organization for technical change, and ensure alignment across multiple cross-functional teams.

As a critical partner to senior leadership, you will leverage both your technical expertise and program management acumen to influence decisions that support the data needs of the entire organization. You will work cross-functionally with data practitioners, product managers, and business leaders across the organization to ensure data programs are executed with precision and clarity. Your ability to manage complexity, balance technical depth with business outcomes, and foster cross-team collaboration will set you apart as a leader in this role.

By joining the Data Leadership team, you will play a key role in the overall data strategy at Gusto, leading efforts that impact data architecture, engineering efficiency, and product delivery. You will focus on bringing organizational rigor to large-scale data initiatives, while supporting teams in solving complex challenges with clear roadmaps, priorities, and strategic guidance.

Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Lead and drive complex, cross-functional data programs by developing and managing detailed program roadmaps, project plans, and timelines, ensuring alignment between data teams, product and engineering partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Head of Data and senior leadership to define the data strategy, align on priorities, and report on progress across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation of critical data initiatives such as Amplitude re-implementation, optimizing CDP platforms like Tealium, and improving tracking across web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable data assets that meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Establish and continuously improve operational procedures to enhance team productivity, streamline communication, and drive program success.
  • Serve as a thought partner for executives, providing strategic insights and recommendations for data programs, including resource allocation, risk management, and technical considerations.
  • Design and implement frameworks that ensure readiness for data-driven changes across the business, building scalable solutions to prepare teams for regular data updates and launches.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of data programs that have wide-reaching impacts.
  • Help build Data’s brand within Gusto by creating company-wide communication mechanisms around the work we do

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management at software companies with demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Deep experience with data engineering processes, architecture, and workflows, including a strong understanding of data platforms, cloud infrastructures, and ETL pipelines.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, with a solid background in managing scrum teams, product backlogs, and roadmaps using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues and propose data-driven solutions.

Nice to have:

  • Extensive experience implementing tracking solutions for web and mobile apps, as well as familiarity with customer data platforms (e.g., Tealium, Amplitude).
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and mentoring teams, with a proven ability to lead and develop individual contributors.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in querying databases like Redshift, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $170,000-$210,000/year in Denver, Chicago, and Atlanta, $184,000/year - $228,000 in Los Angeles, and $199,000-$247,000/year for Seattle, San Francisco and New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 daysper week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and champion opportunities to automate Infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, script repetitive tasks, move legacy workloads into Kubernetes and write excellent documentation.

About This Role

The iRhythm Software Quality Assurance team is looking for a Software QA Engineer I with Cardiac/Holter technician experience to work with software engineering and systems teams. As the SQA Engineer I, you will work closely with our software development team to test and appropriately document results in support of timely software releases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop software verification test protocols, test plans, trace matrix and document test results consistent with functional, customer and internal compliance requirements.
  • Review user, system and software requirements and design documentations to ensure technical accuracy and testability; act as a quality advocate throughout the development cycle focusing on end-user (internal, external, patient) needs.
  • Evaluate updates to clinical tools and components to determine impact to internal (ECG/EKG data consumers) and external end user needs.
  • Provide cross-functional support for new products &/or software component releases, including preparation of FDA submissions.
  • Analyze test and production failures to establish repeatability and to analyze the root cause of issue. Work closely with development team to establish regression test scope based on impact and/or risk.
  • Work closely with Dev, Product, TPM, and QE partners in scrum teams following agile methodology, participate in stand-ups, report status in project meetings.
  • Support DHF activities and help with phase deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with at least 2 years of software testing experience.
  • Experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation. Ability to read and process ECG/EKG records.
  • Previous experience testing medical devices and the related verification, validation, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, finding creative solutions.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and communicate and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor application capacity and optimize performance through system tuning and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., GDPR) and produce regular reports on system performance and incidents.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Knowledge of incident and problem management processes (e.g., ITIL framework).
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including backup and recovery management, patch management, and access control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills, with experience in providing technical support to users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or similar is a plus.

Signify Health is hiring a Remote Director, Technical Product Management, Member & Clinician Experience

How will this role have an impact?

The Director, Technical Product Management, Member & Clinician Experience will lead the strategy, roadmap, product development, and execution of an initiative to transform how Signify uses digital technology to manage in-home and online service encounters for over 3 million Americans and 10,000 clinicians per year. By enabling online queueing, real-time matching of members and patients, and hybrid (e.g., on-site and remote) visit types, this initiative will help improve member access to Signify services in underserved areas while also optimizing clinician network utilization. This role will be directly responsible for product lifecycle management from requirement gathering, definition, team resource sizing, and build vs. buy decision support, to multi-year planning and execution. This role will work closely with a staff engineer responsible for developing the software architecture and POCs.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Product leadership
    • Develop product/business requirements for digital queueing and hybrid visit types
    • Develop and communicate a business case to company leadership to support funding a dedicated engineering scrum team and build an MVP solution
    • Develop a clear vision and short term and long-term roadmap with value definitions and measurable output
  • Technical requirements
    • Develop detailed product specifications and technical requirements in collaboration with staff engineer and internal technical product teams
  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • Manage roadmap of dedicated scrum team to deliver MVP solution for digital queueing and hybrid visit types, and inform/influence roadmaps of adjacent development teams
    • Coordinate with senior leaders within the technology organization to effectively deliver on product and application development
    • Collaborate with analytics to measure and support all activities
  • Talent development
    • Coach more junior product managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support throughout the development process

This person will accomplish these tasks through deep interactions with a broad range of senior executives leading the functions involved with the development and commercialization of Signify Health’s products. They will also be expected to lead a wide range of externally-focused activities including establishing and maintaining active relationships with key customers, monitoring the competitive landscape, and identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.

This person will be responsible for putting in place the processes, tools, and operating mechanisms required of a strong customer and market data backed product management organization with clear business objectives and rationales as well as a strong product management and execution discipline. This position builds relationships with and influences varying levels of internal and external stakeholders and requires a strong team-focused approach with direct interactions with senior executives, customers, and often requires internal and external presentations.

Demonstrated business acumen, customer focus, and a strong track record of leading teams having successfully managed high growth portfolios of products and services are essential to the success of this position.

This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Product Management for Member Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • Successful track record of achieving product line and company goals in a high-growth and highly competitive field.
  • Experience in developing products and leading teams in healthcare provider support, medical safety and/or provider network operations.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience with product development and/or commercialization including 7 years of lifecycle product management or P&L management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of matching algorithms and queuing theory.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the successful development and commercialization of complex products and solutions in new emerging and sometimes poorly defined high growth areas, leading to fast and sustainable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate a large amount of complex customer, clinical, market, and technical data from multiple sources into a clear value proposition and to articulate and communicate this value proposition to a range of customer and internal audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively as a leader and peer with other senior functional managers including Technology, Strategy, Clinical, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Development.
  • Demonstrated track record of building, mentoring, and leading a product management team to deliver consistent and predictable execution.
  • Demonstrated strong people management and influencing skills with proven ability and enthusiasm to lead, motivate, inspire, develop, and encourage people, from C-level suite to individual contributors in multiple functional areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience with financial modeling or data analysis skills. Ability to build and analyze financial models to forecast and track results.
  • Must have excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation techniques with varied internal and external audiences, including technical and non-technical.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $185,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
