As a member of our sales team, you'll work alongside our account coordinators to help our site owners set up their bookable listings, maintain their pricing and availability, and deal with any day-to-day queries.

The role 

The main activity of the role will be to make sales calls from home to sign up campsites and holiday parks to taking bookings via our website. You will also help clients complete the registration process.

  • Discovering and following up for new accommodation

We are looking for part-time candidates able to dedicate at least 20-25 hours per week . Hours for the role can vary from week to week and can be flexible to work around you and your family. As Project Manager you will be responsible for the management, delivery and roll-out of our new B2B platform. You will be adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a bias to action. About the role 

  • Giving our customers excellent service via email, phone and online chat before, during and after they make their bookings. This could range from helping someone find the perfect family-friendly site in Dorset, to answering questions on bookings and sorting out any problems.
  • Talking regularly to our campsite managers, helping them with customer queries and being the first point of call if they need help.
  • You will amaze customers by providing swift and efficient responses to queries of all kinds. 
  • You will act as a problem solver, resolving issues rapidly and identify ways to improve performance and service delivery to customers. You will contribute to the growth of the business by maximizing all inbound sales opportunities.
  • Solving both routine problems and complex customer enquiries and issues

Given the booking patterns of our customers, the role will require some evening and weekend work on a shift basis, and candidates should be able to work for at least 40 hours per week.

The candidate: 

  • It is vital that you can demonstrate that you have at least two years recent experience of providing online/telephone/email customer service, ideally providing support via online portals. 
  • Ideally you will be a fluent English speaker 
  • Previous experience of working within the travel/ecommerce/marketplace sector would be ideal
  • Is meticulous, flexible and able to take ownership of our customers' enquiries
  • Has an organised and methodical approach with excellent written and spoken English and excellent attention to detail

You will build the sales strategy from the ground up; identifying and developing key markets. Furthermore, you will personally own the acquisition of larger corporate relationships contributing to growth objectives for the region.

About the role:

  • Define and implement appropriate sales strategies/business plans to achieve sales/growth targets
  • Define, own and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territories and accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships within key accounts
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Recruit, train and mentor remote team members to develop a sales mindset, commercial skills, assessing performance via annual reviews and one-to-ones
  • Work closely with other teams to increase listings' visibility, in particular PR, content and the translation team

About you:

As a minimum you'll need:

  • An extensive and successful track record within sales and commercial leadership (at least two years at a senior level) ideally within the online travel or ecommerce sector
  • Demonstrable experience of building and executing a well-defined sales and new business strategy
  • Track record of opening and building new international markets, whilst moving other markets to full maturity
  • Experience of leading ideally multilingual telephone-based sales teams, with insight on how to build and scale teams and create a high-performance culture
  • Fluent in English and/or French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish will be required 
  • An understanding of ecommerce, tourism and leisure
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and customer insights to unearth new opportunities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with CRM applications, ideally Salesforce

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum depending on experience with OTE

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and be responsible for both strategy as well as execution.

The role will provide all direction for performance marketing activity including country expansion opportunities, technical integrations, effective budget management and strategic growth opportunities You will work alongside our SEO Lead, Data Scientist and Product Owner to identify and put into practice growth initiatives, automations and experiments.

About the role: 

  • Devise effective performance marketing strategies and roadmaps, launching/optimising campaigns locally and internationally, working with agencies
  • Forecast performance and contribute to business forecasting process
  • Maximise productivity through automation and feed integration
  • Rapidly identify high-potential ideas via a ‘test and learn’ approach
  • Build out the international plan and global expansion, targeting local search engines such as Bing and Yandex 
  • Supervise agency relationships, setting and monitoring achievement against targets
  • Implement monitoring tools and build the process/reports for analysing PPC performance
  • Ensure acquisition & traffic targets are met at acceptable ROI levels

About you:

  • Proven track record of setting, delivering and running £10m+ annual spend global performance marketing strategies/campaigns efficiently while increasing revenue and traffic, ideally within a online travel company or complex e-commerce business
  • Expert in all areas of performance marketing with at least 5+ years of experience
  • SA360 experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrable passion for ecommerce marketing and knowledge of other online marketing channels and their interactions with performance marketing, including attribution
  • Commercially focused and driven with the ability to work towards metrics and manage budgets
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are looking for a Front End Engineerto join the team to help extend and support parts of the technical estate that underpins this growing, dynamic business.

We have lots of exciting projects on the horizon, including replacing our existing site, the inclusion of campervan and motorhome hire in our roster of rental possibilities, supplier portal changes, amongst many others. We are looking for someone to play a central role in some of these projects with colleagues inside the Engineering team.

As part of the engineering team, you will:

  • Add features to our current customer and campsite-focused sites using VueJS
  • Work with team members and the Product Owner to design and develop changes to UI and UX
  • Suggest and implement changes to the front-end architecture of our sites
  • Improve front-end development workflow
  • Play an important role in the improvement of development practices

Our technology consists of a well-established Python/Django/Celery-based solution, complemented by a new mobile-centric VueJS front-end. We are about to embark on a migration of much of our estate to the Google Cloud Platform. Other technologies/services we use include:

Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Solr, GitLab, Memcached, ELK, Nginx, Varnish, Cloudflare

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years strong JavaScript experience, with knowledge of at least one JavaScript front-end framework (ideally Vue.JS but Angular/React/Ember will also be considered )
  • Demonstrable proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Have an appreciation for the challenges involved in building adaptive and responsive websites.
  • Have some familiarity with testing front‐end code using various frameworks (e.g Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc.).
  • Have a good appreciation of workflow and tooling (such as Grunt, Gulp, etc.)
  • Have experience of working with both internal and third‐party API's

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Some exposure to TypeScript
  • Prior experience of working within an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with component libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation or similar.
  • Familiarity with Python and Django
  • An appreciation of DevOps practices and how they are employed in the development process.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience of A/B testing would be an advantage.

Salary: Whilst dependant on experience we can consider salary levels from £45,000 to £65,000. Benefits include: 4% Pension, Private healthcare, Income protection, Critical Illness and Life Insurance.
