We are recruiting for a new role for our QA team due to continued growth and expansion. 

In this role you will plan and implement manual tests, and have the opportunity to learn how to write automated tests. Additionally,  you will play an important part in our product development process. Our Engineering team have some exciting projects on the horizon, including replacing our existing B2C and B2B sites, the inclusion of campervan and motorhome hire in our roster of rental possibilities, a cloud migration and campsite extranet changes, amongst many others. 

Reporting to the Senior QA Engineer, as part of the engineering team you will:

  • Write & execute manual test plans.
  • Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Test cross-browser and cross-device for mobile and desktop sites.
  • Identify, record and track bugs.
  • Learn to fix and run automated tests.
  • Learn to write automated end-to-end tests.
  • Work closely with Product to understand and document user journeys and expected behaviour for test cases. 
  • Contribute to refinement sessions to help the team refine features, advising on test requirements.
  • Help to improve quality working practises, encouraging our move towards the adoption of a shift-left approach to testing.
  • Help foster a culture of technical improvement within the team (e.g. via show-and-tells, demos, proof-of-concepts, pet projects or similar).
  • Curate test data and utilise test environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Skills And Experience

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

We are now looking for an Executive Assistant to act as a key support to our Founder and Managing Director, at a time where our business is scaling quickly. About the role:

  • You will take on the ownership of the MD’s calendar, managing the information flow and setting and planning meetings

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years strong JavaScript experience, with knowledge of at least one JavaScript front-end framework (ideally Vue.JS but Angular/React/Ember will also be considered )
  • Demonstrable proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Have an appreciation for the challenges involved in building adaptive and responsive websites.
  • Have some familiarity with testing front‐end code using various frameworks (e.g Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc.).
  • Have a good appreciation of workflow and tooling (such as Grunt, Gulp, etc.)
  • Have experience of working with both internal and third‐party API's

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Some exposure to TypeScript
  • Prior experience of working within an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with component libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation or similar.
  • Familiarity with Python and Django
  • An appreciation of DevOps practices and how they are employed in the development process.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience of A/B testing would be an advantage.

Salary: Whilst dependant on experience we can consider salary levels from £45,000 to £65,000. Benefits include: 4% Pension, Private healthcare, Income protection, Critical Illness and Life Insurance.
