About this Role:

Agero is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help with the design, implementation and maintenance of scalable, and efficient infrastructure. This role will involve collaborating with Engineering and QA teams to automate manual processes, and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

Key Outcomes: 

  • Review, troubleshoot and approve pull requests drafted by more junior engineers and approve and offer feedback that will improve code quality.
  • Plan with DevOps on capacity planning and monitoring using Datadog.
  • Analyze developer workflow by working closely with team leads and attending squad standup meetings and suggest improvements.
  • Write infrastructure as script using Terraform to help create AWS, Datadog and other technology.
  • Write script using Harness or CircleCI to help create development pipelines that will push code to the Dev, Staging and Production environments.
  • Build scripting to allow for canary deployments into our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Add stages that will include stress testing mechanisms using K6.io.
  • Write bash scripting to help automate development workflows so that manual processes that are currently run by developers or QA are automated.
  • Utilize Terraform to deploy and manage infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent work experience 
  • 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience with programming/scripting languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Bash
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Experience with the following CI/CD tools: HarnessCD, CircleCI, or Gitlab CI/CD to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. 
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies(ECS, Docker)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

About the role

Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Security Engineer (IAM Identity Engineer) to own and enhance identity and access management systems, with a primary focus on maturing our Okta implementation and hardening our AWS Identity and Access Management configuration. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Okta platform, a proven history of configuring SCIM,  in addition to extensive multi-cloud experience. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be the technical subject matter expert for our identity solutions and cloud configurations. You will be responsible for performing design reviews, technical security assessments, and access reviews to highlight overly permissive policies and to help engineering teams reduce risk and  improve the overall security of our products. You will be a security leader within the company, gaining a solid understanding of our products and systems, and ensuring that security is built-in. This position requires both deep and broad technical knowledge across a range of disciplines, and the ability to work hands-on across a wide variety of software designs and technology stacks.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as a primary technical security resource on all IAM issues and projects 
  • Lead, implement, and expand our zero trust architecture
  • Mature our Okta implementation by configuring SSO, SCIM, and other automated-provisioning processes
  • Review and update cloud-based IAM policies to make sure access policies are least privileged, properly scoped, and governed by version control (Terraform + GitHub)
  • Architect, configure, and audit role-based access control to ensure appropriate and secure user access
  • Collaborate with other teams in pPerforming design reviews and technical security assessments to identify risks, ensure access rights are properly aligned, and help other teams improve the overall security of our products.
  • Design and implement security best practices and standards across varied engineering teams and environments.
  • Conduct threat modeling, identify & drive risk decisions, and influence technical designs and architectures.
  • Advocate for security culture and educate colleagues across all parts of 10x.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience configuring federated identity providers, using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience configuring cloud identity and access management services including strong understanding of AWS IAM policies, roles, and trust relationships
  • Experience with Terraform, GitHub or similar for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience in web security (SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud and web application security standards (CIS benchmarks, OWASP ASVS, SANS 25, etc.)

Preferred skills and experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field.
  • In-depth technical and foundational knowledge of software engineering, computer systems, security engineering, authentication, and/or applied cryptography.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, and aligning security standards, frameworks, and corporate policy with overall business and technology strategy.
  • Experience securing operating systems, networks, and low-level infrastructure. 
  • Experience with attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, and corresponding mitigation methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

About the Role:

The Azure Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the successful implementation of Azure architectures and environments. The Azure Sr. Cloud Engineer will act as an expert and trusted advisor who provides guidance for transforming legacy implementations to the cloud.   • Participer à des projets dans des environnements cloud public (AWS, GCP, Azure), privé et hybride.

  • Concevoir des infrastructures cloud performantes, hautement disponibles et sécurisées alignées aux besoins clients (Landing zone).

  • Intégrer dès la phase de conception les bonnes pratiques de sécurité (Approche DevSecOps, Culture DevOps).

  • Automatiser les déploiements avec la mise en place de pipelines CI/CD (GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, GitHub) et l'utilisation d’outils d’Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Spinnaker…).

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will lead cloud infrastructure design, automation, and management, focusing on Databricks and AWS, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for Gen AI tooling – GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
  • 1+ years of experience with automation and an understanding of infrastructure as code principles with a familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git
  • Awareness of monitoring systems such as Splunk, OpenSearch, Dynatrace and Grafana.
  • Background in Linux administration, with RedHat and Amazon Linux.
  • Programming skills and interest in DevOps, Systems Engineering or Build and Release Engineering.
