Essential functions of the role:

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Use defined business strategy to create effective product strategies
  • Use insights to create product roadmaps that prioritize and guide future product work in alignment with the business strategy and product strategy
  • Set and manage key metrics

 

Product Discovery

  • Stay current on trends related to customer behavior, competitive activity, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies
  • Use input from customer insights, data, industry trends, to determine customer problems worth solving
  • Effectively leverage Design Thinking principles through the product discovery: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test
  • Use experiments and other methods to reduce desirability, feasibility, and viability risk of product concepts
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications
  • Conduct product design, including buy/build analysis
  • Construct and communicate effective business cases

 

Product Delivery

  • Lead/oversee cross-functional execution of identified solutions
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute effective Go-to-Market strategies
  • Ensure effective communication, alignment, and collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders through the entire product development lifecycle

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional teams towards goals without having direct formal authority
  • Partner with stakeholders such as Risk/Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Sales, and external vendor partners to deliver products
  • Manage strategic external partners to influence strategic direction and synthesize product roadmaps
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

 

  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years experience in banking, fintech, or similar required
  • Experience in product development/management strongly preferred
  • Experience in consumer banking/fintech strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis preferred
  • Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software required

Your impact

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help tackle some of Grammarly’s biggest Engineering challenges. In this role, you will:

  • Work on end-to-end Engineering challenges directly related to your team’s high-level goals.
  • Ship code in your first week after orientation!
  • Iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment and leverage your unique point of view to share feedback on product direction.
  • Partner with a mentor to scope, design, and execute a fully formed project throughout your internship.

  • Has strong computer science fundamentals: CS fundamentals can come from being self-taught, previous internships, what you’ve learned at school, passion projects, and more. However you got there, it’s great for us!

We’re looking for you if you’re an experienced full-stack web software engineer. More specifically, we’re looking for:

  • Someone with a fair amount of experience working on client-side web software with modern libraries and frameworks (React/React Native). You should understand how HTTP works, why Test Driven Development (TDD) is critical while writing code, what an XSS attack is, and how an MVC web framework works. That will probably mean you’ve been doing this stuff for 5+ years.
  • Someone familiarized with CSS architecture including pre/post processors and CSS-in-JS, and best practices around responsive layout, accessibility, and animation. You should have experience working with design systems and designers or within a product design organization.
  • Someone who understands fundamental computer science concepts. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have a CS degree. But you should be able to describe how a pointer works, what Big O notation is and how to use it, when to use composition and when to use inheritance and the differences between an array and a linked list and a set.
  • Someone with a firm grasp of SQL and databases in general (including non-relational databases and modern cloud database solutions). You should know how to do CRUD operations, what indexes are and why they matter, and the difference between a left join and an inner join for instance.

Our tech stack and software development process:

Most of our software is written in PHP (Laravel) and TypeScript (React/React Native). You’ll work with these languages and possibly more as we continue to grow. We’re not worried about checking off boxes for specific languages. As long as you have a background with any mainstream object-oriented language and have great engineering fundamentals, we believe you can get up to speed with any similar language quickly.

We believe you should be empowered to own the entire life of your software, from the initial design through release and observing. And we believe you should be responsible for that software’s continued health. After all, that’s what really matters — the software needs to work correctly so users can get what they want quickly and efficiently.

  • Generate the capacity forecast plan for the region, leveraging details from the regional production and network leadership team

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Operations Management or related field
  • 5-8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain / asset management, client management, data analysis / forecasting type roles, ideally within the healthcare industry
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and maintaining excellent relations with customers, operations and product teams at all levels

    We are seeking a proactive Email Marketing Specialist with product mindset to join our Retention team. In this role, you will be responsible for building a comprehensive system of retention tools that are designed to increase user activation and retention. With full ownership of these instruments, you will have the autonomy to implement updates and improvements to enhance product metrics and make impact on overall product performance.

    As you excel in this role, you will have the potential for growth, including advancing to positions such as Email Marketing Team Lead or Product Manager, as well as deepening your expertise in the field of customer retention.

    Your impact:

    • Manage and optimize automated omnichannel campaigns across email, web push, mobile push and SMS channels to drive customer engagement and retention;
    • Conduct A/B tests and analyze the results to optimize key email-marketing and product metrics;
    • Stay updated on industry trends and monitor competitor email marketing and retention strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Generate innovative ideas and hypotheses to enhance the existing framework of retention instruments and drive user loyalty and lifetime value.
    • Collaborate closely with the product team to implement initiatives related to retention instruments, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and customer experience.

    About you:

    • 1+ year of experience with email automatization campaigns: user onboarding, activation, engagement, and churn-reduction campaigns;
    • Understanding of digital marketing and email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM, GPPR and CCPA requirements, segmentation, CR/OR/CTR, IP / Domain reputation;
    • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on making data-driven decisions to continuously improve campaign performance;
    • Experience with A/B testing;
    • Upper-Intermediate English language skills and strong copywriting skills to create compelling content that resonates with our audience;
    • Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions and ideas for campaigns success;
    • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free campaigns;
    • Systematic and structural approach to work.

    Nice to have:

    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to create and edit email and push notification templates;
    • Familiarity with Tableau and Iterable;
    • Experience working with web push campaigns.

      Твоя зона впливу:

      • Тестування і своєчасне виявлення багів;
      • Написання баг-репортів і ведення тестової документації;
      • Активна участь в процесі обговорення та валідації ідей;

      Для цього тобі знадобиться:

      • Від 2 років комерційного досвіду в тестуванні - web та mobile;

      • Знання специфіки роботи з IOS та Android платформами;
      • Знання технік тест дизайну, розуміння принципів тестування та вміння застосувати це на практиці;
      • Вміння якісно аналізувати вимоги;
      • Поглибленні знання DevTools;
      • Вміння писати тестову документацію (та вибирати необхідну), досвід роботи з тест менеджмент системою - Testrail;
      • Досвід роботи з a/б тестуванням;
      • Базові знання HTML, CSS;
      • Проактивність, вміння працювати на результат;
      • Рівень англійської мови на рівні не нижче за Upper-Intermediate;
