In this role, you will report to the Vice President Regulatory, Compliance and Broadband Office, as we work to attract hundreds of millions of dollars in state and federal grants to Brightspeed under the U.S. government’s Broadband, Equity, Accessibility and Deployment (BEAD) and various other state and federal broadband grant programs. You will play a critical role in managing and directing the technical project plans for grant application analysis and submissions, including directing the GIS and analytics work necessary for grant applications, protecting the company’s strategic build plan through challenges and broadband reporting, and regulatory reporting on service availability and deployment across Brightspeed’s 20-state operating footprint. You will need experience in project management, GIS, data analytic software, excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, leadership and management skills as well as the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment. As a people leader, you will be managing a team responsible for modeling and mapping and will be working cross functionally with other business units, requiring demonstrated skills in coaching, influencing, problem-solving and collaboration.
