We are currently looking for a Lead Java Developer and Operations Support Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will oversee the design, development, installation, implementation, testing, and support of IT Dispatch operations systems. You will work closely with analysts, and business leads to ensure the alignment of dispatch systems with Brightspeed’s go-to-market strategies.

As a Lead Java Developer and Operations Support Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Leadership:

  • Lead the Dispatch applications, providing architectural directions and mentorship
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for deploying and enhancing Java based dispatch applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

  • Utilize programming skills to develop and maintain scripts and integrations using JavaScript, Java, and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • Ensure secure authentication and authorization practices using OAuth protocols

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations

Training and Support:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and administrators
  • Provide support for application-related issues

Qualifications

Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for a Financial Analyst, Budget and Forecasting to join our team! 

As A Financial Analyst, Budget and Forecasting - Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-term planning as well as business performance reporting and analysis for the Enterprise and Wholesale Brightspeed organization.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance, become a subject matter expert identifying and researching performance variances and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Support reporting efforts and existing processes and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations.

Impact:

  • Support the budgeting, reporting and forecasting process.
  • Work cross-functionally with E&W Sales & Marketing teams to support the preparation of periodic forecasts, the annual budget, and long-range financial plans with supporting action plans to achieve.
  • Provide actionable insights and strong reporting commentary, including metrics reporting.
  • Report and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual business trends and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Understand, manipulate, maintain and leverage various software tools and platforms for reporting and various financial and business analytics.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive strategic and actional insights with strong reporting commentary.
  • Ad-hoc corporate project support including modeling, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting and financial statements understanding including the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows, financial analysis principles, key drivers, and levers.
  • Highly adept in MS Excel with experience of building and/or maintaining complex financial models.
  • Experience working with planning and reporting tools such as SAP, as well as ERP and accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Bonus Points For:

  •  Master’s Degree in accounting or finance.
  •  CPA designation.
  •  Strong telecommunications product knowledge.
  •  Ability to prepare financial and accounting records.

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Manager, Bill to Cash Process to join our growing team. In this role using SAP technologies, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of applications and solutions to support the bill-to-cash process for Brightspeed. You will have a deep understanding of payment, collections and cash applications processes along with strong experience in SAP BRIM and FICA modules. You will be passionate about inspiring and leading teams directly and indirectly reporting to her/him and delivering exceptional user experiences and able to drive innovation through the development of cutting-edge applications.

As a Technical Manager, Bill to Cash Process, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement innovative applications and solutions to support the bill to cash process using SAP technologies including BRIM, FICA and FSCM
Design and build user-friendly applications and interfaces to support payments, collections, credit, and dispute processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver results that meet or exceed business expectations
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the applications into the company's overall systems and processes
Develop and maintain a roadmap for the development of these applications and ensure they meet the company's strategic goals and objectives
Be hands-on and dig deeper into designs and engage with internal and external team members to solve some of the tough problems as they arise
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the telecommunications industry and apply this knowledge to improve the business outcome
Manage the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Manage the team of developers, testers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables
Ensure operational excellence and be data driven by developing, monitoring and reporting critical KPIs around application health, availability, business metrics (touch-free payments, contact center customer issues related to bill-to-cash, reconciliations, fallouts, issue resolution cycle times, etc.)
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maximize business outcomes
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of application development and operations
Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering results quickly and iteratively
Hire, grow and mentor diverse technical team in a 100% remote setting

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in MIS, MBA, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in delivering business applications, with at least 5 years in SAP BRIM FICA FSCM modules delivering 2+ implementations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven track record of hiring, managing, inspiring, and growing a team of architects/developers/analysts and delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Proven experience of payments, collections, credit, disputes, and cash processes.
  • Strong experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in the telecommunications industry is a huge plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in web and mobile application development, including HTML5, CSS, Java/JavaScript, and React a plus
  • PMP or CSM certification a plus
