About This Role

What You’ll Do

  • Providing strategic and operational Regulatory CMC expertise and support in cross-functional teams, as required, and working flexibly within and across regions to provide broad operational support to ensure the delivery of project/products and business objectives
  • Preparation and delivery of CMC Regulatory operational plans for products in the assigned regions and supporting the preparation and delivery of regulatory submissions (including IND/IMPD/CTAs/MAAs)
  • Responsible for submission from defining and agreeing content to leading reviews as required to ensure complete, concise and accurate submissions to Health Authorities.
  • Writing and / or Review of regional and global CMC submission documents and responses to Health Authority questions
  • Managing CMC aspects of routine and non-routine Health Authority interactions including issue resolution and negotiation of approvals, as delegated.
  • Monitoring changes in the Regulatory CMC environment to support and advise key stakeholders and teams
  • Providing input into Regulatory CMC risks assessment and mitigation plans and ensuring that it remains in line with the overall global Regulatory CMC strategy
  • Coordinating and completing regulatory assessments of CMC changes in the designated systems
  • Responsible for assuming responsibilities from the Team Lead or Global Regulatory CMC lead, as agreed and delegated and maintaining open lines of communication on assigned projects/products to ensure awareness on status and issues relating to submissions

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulatory authority CMC review capacity including at least 3 years of experience in Regulatory CMC and preferably 2 years professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, analytical development, or quality assurance/control or related technical field.
  • Successful authoring and contribution to delivering CMC submission documents of development and/or marketed products (biological, oligonucleotide, and/or chemical entities)

Salary

In the US, the base salary for this role is between $40 and $48/hour+, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. In this role, you will:

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Systems Engineer Lead-related occupation.
  • Experience and practical application of Visualforce, APEX and Java programming; Force.com APIs, Web Services, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Data service and Service Cloud.
  • Experience in leading medium to large scale Salesforce implementations such as leading 1000+ call center agent multi-site implementation, architecting and designing scalable, and highperforming enterprise wide technical solutions, integrating salesforce with third party systems using SOAP and REST based APIs, integrating with survey tools, working with multiple teams, preparation of package xml files, making sure no code overrides, avoid conflicts, deploy in lower environments and production, support for testing and Data Migration.
  • Deep understanding of native Salesforce features and functionality, as well as the ability to model a role hierarchy, data model, and appropriate sharing mechanisms.
  • Experience in call center, CISCO, CTI integration with Salesforce
  • Experience in Deployments using Salesforce change sets, CI/CD DevOps pipeline including GitHub, Jenkins or AWS.
  • Experience in building salesforce service cloud call center oriented applications for credit bureau organizations to display individuals information such as credit reports, credit scores, dispute processing, adding freeze, removing freeze, lock/unlock features, membership benefits and product offers to an agent.               
                                            

Pay range for this role is $143,186.72-$192,644.00, with actual pay based on work location, job-related skills, experience and education.

You'll be accountable for: 

  • Successful management and coordination of efforts assigned to all members of the project team, including but not limited to Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Affairs/Safety, to support milestone achievement and overall project delivery

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a clinical, biological or science-related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 years relevant experience, preferably in a CRO/pharmaceutical company/medical device company, including 2 years of clinical project management or clinical management experience
  • 3 years of experience in managing progressively large and complex scientific research projects, at least half of which has been in a matrix environment
  • Strong budget/finance experience on a project level
  • Demonstrated understanding of therapeutic and protocol disciplines in Oncology, ICH/GCP regulations, FDA guidance documents/EU directives/ISO14155 regulations, drug/device development, and clinical monitoring procedures
  • Able to lead and motivate team members
  • Skilled at multitasking and working effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities to meet deadline, and address problems decisively and objectively
  • A highly confident and effective presenter, fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with web-based communication tools
  • Willingness to travel

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Consultant (QSA), your responsibilities will include leading project execution and client service activities, focused primarily on PCI DSS assessments. You will lead the client engagement and be the face of A-LIGN with our customers.

REPORTS TO: Managing Consultant/Service Delivery Manager 

PAY CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute PCI DSS assessments in coordination with the project's manager 
  • Create agendas  
  • Lead client meetings and maintain client relationships  
  • Perform audit testing and mentor Associate QSA's (AQSA's) performing assigned audit review tasks 
  • Communicate effectively to the client, prior to, during, and post on-site visit 
  • Review manager’s planning notes, and prepare as appropriate for meetings 
  • Prepare fieldwork notes throughout the project 
  • Gather evidence and review 
  • Provide draft reports to management, within defined timelines and mentor and train Associate QSA's (AQSA's) to help them develop report writing skills 
  • Provide detailed project status reports weekly to management 
  • Organize client information on A-LIGN’s OneDrive folder
  • Communicate to management about any potential project issues 
  • Provide feedback to junior consultants and management team 
  • Travel occasionally to clients’ offices 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION 

Information Technology related degree preferred 

EXPERIENCE 

At least 3 years of experience working in a lead QSA role. Prior hands on Information Technology and/or Information Security experience, also preferred. 

CERTIFICATIONS  

Currently possesses or is actively pursuing at least one of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, PCIP, QSA or other relevant certification. In addition, must hold both CISSP and CISA certification within one year of hire date.
