Summary

As a Product Designer at Tinvio, you will uncover customer problems and solve them by executing intuitive, simple and accessible designs for millions of small-medium merchants and suppliers across the region. You will be involved in the entire product development process -- including customer discovery to distill problems into user needs, and solving them with user friendly designs. You will partner closely with our product managers, engineers and business teams to digitise a fragmented and inefficient industry, by reimagining transactions between suppliers and merchants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover problems our customers face
• Rapidly prototype and iterate concepts to learn what our customer needs
• Design sketches, low fidelity, high fidelity, and production-ready user interfaces and experiences across our iOS, Android and Web apps, while keeping yourself up to date on the latest design patterns and principles
• Work closely with product managers, engineers and other key stakeholders to support implementation and product delivery to our users

Qualifications

• Passionate about design and have at least 5-8 years of product design experience.
• Experience in Product Design for iOS, Android, and/or Web apps, and familiarity with the respective guidelines and standards
• A self-organizer, ability to multi-task and being disciplined about work, from the discovery of user problems to having an interest in measuring the impact of releases
• A sharp eye for detail and a quick wit – believing that misalignments, clutter, and generic content are totally unacceptable.
• Critical I: Native fluency in English and the right to work in Singapore
• Critical II: Familiarity with Sketch, Figma, Invision, Zeplin, Maze
• Bonus: Product experience in B2B SaaS, digital payments, and/or chat design

Job Description

Summary:
As a Business Development Associate, you will run the ground in Vietnam cities, driving market growth through acquisition, onboarding, and management of local FMCG Supplier, Trader, Distributor, or Wholesaler onto the platform. You will take ownership from day one and help merchants/suppliers understand the game-changing value of our technology. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify key decision-makers (Supplier/Trader/Distributor owners) in Vietnam cities, set up meetings, and build strong relationships with them
• Become an expert in identifying challenges that the merchants face, and help them solve these challenges with our technology
• Provide feedback and analysis to management that will help us improve the product, strategy, and processes – you're the eyes and ears of what's happening on the ground
• Manage existing merchant relationships, and provide real-time support for their users as they engage with us

Qualifications

• Min 2-3yrs sales experience in the FMCG industry
• Fluent in Vietnamese
• Can-do attitude, crazy hustle, ability to get things done
• Ambitious, competitive personality, not afraid of rejection
• Love to talk to people and build relationships, great communication skills
• Self-motivation and an enjoyment for a startup environment, including a thick skin and the ability to deal just as well with the hard days as the good days

Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of talented designers, product managers, and engineers to solve complex problems in an open and fast-paced environment with very flat structures where everyone has a say. With an event-driven microservice architecture, you will design and build highly scalable and robust API-driven backend technology solutions around order management, account management, credit, and payment domains that fuel our core business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the complete stack using technologies like Java, Spring boot, Postgres, Elastic Cache, NoSQL datastores, AWS Lambda, Streaming technologies, and Firebase in the cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a high-performance, high-availability, and fraud-tolerant technology platform for B2B transactions with minimal guidance
• Hands-on solution design and development in Java/Springboot to deliver trustworthy and smooth functionalities to our users
• Iterate on technical solutions with Frontend and DevOps teams, and ensure that they are scalable and extensible
• Implement solutions you’ve designed and deploy them into production, with a sharp eye for product quality and user experience
• Identify and address performance or process bottlenecks within the applications and broader infrastructure
• Monitor, debug, and fix issues in production at high velocity based on user impact
• Participate in technology reviews, hiring interviews, and code reviews to progressively scale the engineering organization and our practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
• Must have 5+ years of experience in developing highly scalable, performant applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in application debugging
• Sound understanding of object-oriented programming and software design
• Hands-on experience of Restful services development using Java Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with database design. SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL) | NoSQL (Redis/ MongoDB/Cassandra)
• Working experience of message streaming/queuing systems like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, IBM MQ
• Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Computing (GCP)
• Experience with Serverless Architectures (AWS/GCP) would be a plus
