Gusto is looking for a Principal Product Manager who can build and execute a Platform strategy to build a world class experience for our customers as their company grows and evolves. This role reports into People OS and plays a key role in helping our customers get more value from our product offerings.

In this role, you will develop the strategy and execution (0-1) of building a Platform to better support customers with more complex company structures, align their Jobs to be Done (JTBD) with Gusto's product offerings and deeply collaborate with multiple stakeholders like Engineering, Design, Sales, CX. You will build unifying experiences that support companies with different tax reporting structures, while keeping our product intuitive and delightful. You will also focus on improving the long- term value that a customer gets from Gusto by ensuring that we support their company as it grows and changes. 

Your work to build Platforms at Gusto will span the entire breadth of our product experience to build world class content for our customers and provide timely relevant product recommendations.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s lifecycle and build a platform to support companies with complex tax reporting structures 
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, CX, and other counterparts to solve complex cross functional problems
  • Set goals and strategy for your domain then translate it into a roadmap, milestones, and requirements collaboratively to drive alignment and excitement with your cross-functional partners and stakeholders 
  • Set, track and improve key product and business metrics 
  • Distill insights and data from key stakeholders, industry trends, competitive analysis, business and product metrics, and other sources to guide strategy 
  • Drive the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that delight customers and result in significant and measurable business impact 

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of product management experience driving platforms and systems including experience with building 0-1 platforms 
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build scalable platforms  
  • Data and hypothesis driven, business-minded
  • Experience driving high growth of product from launch phase to scaled adoption 
  • Ability to set a strategy and translate to a roadmap & metrics with end-to-end execution
  • Creating and growing diverse and passionate product teams 
  • Zest for learning and first principles thinking

Our cash compensation range for this role is $158,000 to $188,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $192,000 to $228,000 in San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 daysper week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

As a Staff Product Manager, you will … 

  • Partner with senior leadership to advance the vision, strategy, and execution of Webflow’s self-serve and enterprise businesses.
  • Define the product roadmap and strategy for improving activation. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including design, engineering, user research, data science, and education, and community teams to identify and define features and experiences that customer activation.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Prioritize product backlog and manage roadmap based on strategic priorities, user needs, and market trends.
  • Define, track, and analyze key product metrics to inform decision-making and measure success.

We’re looking for a Product Manager for our data platform team with experience in an early or growth stage startup. Our data asset is at the core of our business and your job would be to ensure that data is high quality, highly differentiated and usable for deriving actionable insights. You will lead efforts to harness data to communicate the value of our solutions to both customers and internal stakeholders. You will seek opportunities to further enhance our data products by researching other data sources, driving projects to make the data product more usable and collaborating to ensure the data pipeline produces a high quality data product at scale. 

What you’ll do  

  • Become the subject matter expert in our data asset and feel accountable for both its quality and the value it delivers.
  • Understand your users and customers: what they need, what they do not need, how they think - so you can guide your product team to build solutions that solve their challenges.
  • Use data to quantify how both the business and your products are performing to enable you to make informed decisions using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of designers and engineers on your product team, and coordinate when necessary with other product teams to deliver high-quality experiences to your customers.
  • Be a resource for customers and internal users who need to understand why the data is behaving as it is and what the data is saying. 
  • Facilitate discovery and delivery phases, knowing when to raise your hand to ask for help of other subject matter experts to ensure you are applying the right tools to solve the current problems you are addressing as a team.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact the company’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience (data analyst and product owner profiles will be considered) with progressively increasing responsibility, preferably in a healthcare domain
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex concepts for a non-technical audience
  • Exceptional project management skills, with superb attention to detail and an emphasis on structured problem-solving
  • Experience working closely with a diverse set of cross-functional teams and subject matter experts with demonstrated ability to influence and lead without authority
  • Strong command of data analysis tools beyond Excel (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Python, R, and/or others)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, such as working with payers, providers, or pharmaceutical manufacturers is ideal

Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 base + bonus

Overview

Instacart is hiring its next class for its Associate Product Manager (APM) program. This program is aimed to help early talent jumpstart their career in product management. About you 

You’ll thrive as a Staff Product Manager if you:

Duties and responsibilities

  • Understand company and product strategy and develop roadmap for your team to achieve the product strategy

Your background:

  • 4+ years of experience leading product strategy, development, and delivery for a B2B digital health product servicing payer or provider customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in STEM and / or MBA preferred.
  • Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and helping ensure every patient receives the best care possible.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
