Job Description

The Regional Marketing Manager (MKR) is responsible for Video Analytics and a portion Video Camera portfolio within the North American (NA) marketing team. This individual will work closely with the NA sales team and global product managers to launch new cameras and video analytic solutions, develop and execute product marketing strategy, manage existing lifecycles, and provide market input for new product development, including new business models and go-to-market strategy.   The MKR is expected to become an expert in their responsible markets and the portion of the portfolio they oversee to help drive and steer the NA sales team to achieve sales goals and targets.

Essential Functions:

  • Become a subject matter expert for your portfolio(s) for North America.  This includes competitive positioning, market trends, end-user and customer needs, and sales performance. 
  • Work with the NA sales team and global product managers to develop and implement a marketing and sales strategy to gain market share.
  • Serve as the primary contact point with global product managers for market intelligence, strategy, product requirements, and coordination with the North American Video Regional Sales Organization.
  • Develop product launch strategies, plans, and budgets together with the NA sales team, including coordination of training, marketing material, and ramp-up plans.
  • Successfully launch products into the North American market and follow up on the execution of the product launch plan with sales teams to reach sales targets.
  • Support regional sales and marketing activities including events, tradeshows, webinars, and other speaking engagements.
  • Assist sales on customer visits/calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product/technology.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote Bosch product and technology leadership.
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts.
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security industry and familiarity with the current technology used in surveillance cameras and video analytics.
  • Must understand the IP video market and have experience launching both hardware and software-based solutions.
  • Commercial background and experience working in a technical environment.
  • This position requires 30% travel, domestically and internationally.

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new accounts among regional Traditional customer channels and target National Accounts.  You will develop and coordinate all new account management activities including sales objectives, goal deployment, P&L development, and strategies for promotional programs and execution. 

Your primary duties would include:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within assigned geographic region, with primary focus on Program Group Distribution, Independent Warehouse Distributors and National Accounts.
  • Development of customer sales programs and manage liaison relationships between internal support functions for account establishment.
  • Establish and maintain customer contacts and relationships.
  • Work with new accounts on all aspects of sales implementation and coordination to facilitate new business implementation.
  • Ensure coordination and transition to Field Sales Team to support customers sales service needs once established.
  • Negotiate resolution of customer account development needs, programs, proposals, and sales service requirements.
  • Provide forecasts of customer for planning new account execution, sales demand for internal planning
  • Prepare recommendations for business plan to manager for increased utilization and specification of Bosch products by customer.
  • Prepare business plan, monthly KPI reviews and sales development goals to align with annual targets for manager.
  • Prepare and submit call, order, itinerary, expense, other reports as required or requested.
  • Maintain records of all documents/reports required by the customer and Bosch.
  • Keep abreast of developments related to Bosch and competitors' products, programs and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Business Admin, Sales/Marketing preferred) or equivalent relevant experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant Automotive and/or National Accounts Sales experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and persuasive communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills in developing strategies, resolving problems, and project management
  • Basic computer skills including use of MS Office applications and fundamental understanding of database and email programs.
  • Preferably prior IAM sales and/or marketing experience, or prior new business / key account / channel management responsibilities within the automotive industry.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.
  • Not eligible for internal VA/VN international assignment.
  • Up to 35% travel is required.

Join our growing sales team as an Associate Sales District Manager.  This entry level position will work with the team from business development, marketing, sales, to customer support.  You will develop new and existing customer relationships in your designated district to achieve assigned sales goals by product area (intrusion and access control).  We also promote cross selling activities across the Building Technologies portfolio. You will do so via the following activities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales District Manager and Regional Sales Director on district strategy and development opportunities. 
  • Leverage the Business Development, Product Support and Marketing teams to identify and develop new sales channels for assigned Bosch products.
  • Support business development efforts at A&E, end-user, distributor, and dealer levels.
  • Provide same or next day response for customer issues.
  • Promote Bosch products; train on the benefits of such solutions through events: road shows, trade shows, customer directed training and other programs.
  • Provide sales opportunity, pipeline and customer information through effective utilization of CRM tool.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated background of successful sales of micro-electronic products, computer technology, related industry.  
  • Must be technically savvy and demonstrate the ability to learn complex products and systems quickly.
