About the opportunity

Homeward is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join the team responsible for the design, implementation, and success of our Salesforce ecosphere. This individual will be responsible for owning support issues on a day-to-day basis, developing runbooks, and contributing to new strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in ownership of their projects, is able to effectively diagnose issues, develop solutions quickly, and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Join our Salesforce Systems Team and have an immediate impact on the company and the implementation of our Salesforce instance
  • Work directly with our Product and Engineering Team, members of our Sales & Operations teams, as well as the organization as whole, to improve the process of buying and selling homes
  • Prioritize and manage incoming development requests from stakeholders, and effectively oversee the ticket queue to ensure timely resolution of Salesforce issues and enhancements.
  • Collaborate on projects ranging from 3rd party integrations to development of new business processes that promote efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation
  • Focus on bridging the gap between development and end users
  • Contribute to documentation, product scoping, and training
  • Collaborate on strategies to manage Salesforce metadata & tabular data 
  • Work side-by-side with our existing Salesforce experts to own Salesforce implementation and architecture planning 
  • Work closely with our engineering team to build integrations & develop processes that scale our operations & sales efforts
  • Wear both light development and administration hats - as a growing organization, we’ll need an administrator who can fill both roles to ensure we plan data structures and configurations for scaling

About you:

  • Incredibly strong ownership of delivering the right solutions at high quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an inbound stream of requests
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with stakeholders to communicate and deliver outcomes
  • Experience developing within a highly customized Salesforce environment

About the opportunity

The Homebuying Operations team is a critical part of what makes Homeward unique to traditional financing. This team is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our Customers and Agents on transactions where Homeward buys and sells the home. The Transaction Manager role is a teammate to our Agent, a guide to our Customer, and the representative that protects Homeward through due diligence. 

We’re seeking a Transaction Success Manager for our Sell Before You List program to support the execution of buying and selling homes while providing exceptional service to both the agent and the Homeward customer. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for communicating expectations, policies, and next steps to the Agent and Customer while driving the transaction through an on time closing. You’ll use your Real Estate background and knowledge to create confidence and understanding in the Homeward process with your Agent. Strong communication, detailed organization, deadline adherence, and problem solving are essential for this position. 

This position will work cross-functionally with other critical teams including operations, sales, product, among others and will specialize in one of our two product lines.

Note: This is a Monday-Friday temporary, full time position for up to 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

In this role, you will

  • Be the main driver of all activities related to closing the first transaction once we have exited the due diligence/option period, and then getting the home prepared for market, listed and sold for the highest profit
  • Collaborate with our repair partners to ensure Homeward listings meet our quality standards and are prepared for market as efficiently as possible
  • Collaborate with our agent partners to launch Homeward listings on the market and determine the appropriate listing price strategy , additional repairs, or other necessary actions to achieve the most profitable sale
  • Assist with market sale negotiations to achieve the highest possible profits for Homeward and highest additional proceeds for the original seller
  • Manage pipeline to ensure our agent partners are working within the obligated timelines. 
  • Collect showing data and feedback on a weekly cadence from listing agents and determine any necessary adjustments to the listing strategy
  • Responsible for assisting customers and agents throughout the entire transaction by appropriately collaborating with cross functional team members and vendors.

About the opportunity

Homeward is looking for a General Manager (III) to proactively manage and oversee  a large portfolio of homes held in inventory. This position, which includes P&L ownership, is responsible for making both reactive and proactive decisions to drive profitability to the portfolio and mitigate inventory losses on individual properties. The GM will be required to make adjustments to a property's listing strategy and execution, ensure all homes held meet our listing quality standards, and approve spend on renovations, repairs and property maintenance. Success in this role means you are selling off a majority of homes for a profit and in a timely manner, while minimizing any homes that sell for a loss. This is a strategic and cross functional role that works with a variety of teams in sales, operations and finance. 

In this role, you will:

  • Report directly into the VP of Finance
  • Own a portfolio of Homeward’s inventory, which may encompass multiple products, regions and partners. 
  • Responsible for a property from the point it exits option period, through to its sale on the market
  • P&L ownership for a portfolio of inventory; responsible for staying close to each property held and ensuring that expenses are closely managed to hit profitability targets
  • Remain close to an extensive portfolio of properties to regularly review risk levels, while paying close attention to riskier files
  • Sign off on purchase offers Homeward makes to ensure that we are taking a balanced approach to our overall inventory risk level, and provide regular feedback to the business
  • Develop strong muscle for effective selling strategies across different property types and markets
  • Become an SME on Homeward’s inventory management playbook, and be able to proactively address at-risk files by tailoring the approach to the individual property and circumstances
  • Direct financial outcomes to inform the right course of action to be taken on individual properties, with the goal out maximizing profitability
  • Display excellent cross-functional collaboration with partners across Deals Desk and Operations teams
  • Ability to guide and direct Operations partners to ensure proper listing execution, escalated market sale decisioning, and action plan implementation
  • Ensure our Operations teams are driving tight timelines across various stages of the transaction lifecycle, including: closing on new homes, getting homes listed for sale on the market, under contract and sold, and moving quickly through make-ready and repairs throughout

What you’ll bring:

  • 5-7+ years of experience, ideally at a startup or other fast-paced environment, in real estate, and/or owning a P&L in real estate

About the opportunity

The Valuations Team is a critical part of Homeward’s risk mitigation strategy, responsible for quickly and accurately valuing the homes associated with every transaction, while actively managing the duration and quality risk of Homeward’s entire portfolio of homes. Their charter is to maximize Homeward’s Customer approval conversion, while maintaining a strong line of defense for our risk exposure - a challenging but important needle to thread.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for reviewing market data and making comparable home selections to predict home sales prices. The role will include regular analysis of historical valuation accuracy and coordination with our network of in-market agents to obtain price opinions that drive home value analysis, ultimately ensuring that Homeward accurately estimates the sale value of its customer’s existing homes and avoids overpaying for new homes. 

This position will challenge your ability to balance risk mitigation with conversion optimization, and will require you to implement evolving complex operational processes. 

Note: This is a temporary, full-time, three-month, hourly position and will require weekend availability.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform pricing evaluations for residential real estate properties, ensuring adherence to our accuracy and turnaround time requirements.
  • Working independently, while effectively prioritizing tasks with competing deadlines
  • Coordinating with vendors that provide key valuations data and analytics
  • Reviewing inspection reports
  • Collaborating with other operations and sales teams to ensure we deliver a high quality customer experience

About the opportunity:

Homeward’s Agent Trainer will educate agents and partners on how to use Homeward's cash offer product effectively. You are passionate about real estate sales, home ownership, and coaching agents on how to do more transactions with unique tools.  You understand the real estate space and are comfortable conversing not only with Agents and Brokers but with Buyers and Sellers alike.  You enjoy teaching, speaking, and sales.

The ultimate goal is to ensure agents and partners are aware of and consider Homeward as their #1 cash offer option. You’ll be able to maximize the benefits of our platform by delivering feedback, in order to confidently start sending deals through our system. 

 

Please note: This role is expected to start part-time, grow over time, and require some travel. The expected hours are 20-25 hours a week. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

 

In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for existing and new agents and partners
  • Become a subject matter expert on all of Homeward’s products and services

About the opportunity

This role will work on providing support to core teams including Operations, Sales, Finance, and Product. This role will involve analyzing key areas within these teams, developing metrics, and building standardized reporting, while maintaining and driving meaningful, clean, and concise data while we continue to scale. Additionally, this role will collaborate with key stakeholders to provide the data they need and deliver solutions, helping to elevate their understanding and use of data to drive team and business insights. In this role you will:

  • Report to our Director of Business Analytics and partner with stakeholders to develop a business analytics roadmap for improving the company wide availability, speed and quality of data/analysis that accelerates decision making
  • Design and deliver a broad range of outputs; root cause analysis, dashboards, deep-dive analysis, segmentation work, etc
  • Develop expertise in Homeward’s data platform, including its generation and storage processes, limitations and expectations, and best practices for data cleaning and modeling using dbt and Looker.
  • Provide innovative analytical insights while understanding their limitations and exceptions, to support various functions across Homeward
  • Assist with the development and ongoing refinement of Homeward’s canonical data model in partnership with the data engineering and product teams
  • Support development, maintenance, and organization of performance reporting and management dashboards for all of Homeward’s functional areas of operations and optimizations

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of proven experience in analytics, business intelligence or comparable role; preference for experience within high-growth startups
  • Experience creating, maintaining, supporting metrics within a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, etc)
  • Expert proficiency in SQL; bonus points for experience with Python
  • Knowledge of ETL and tools (dbt preferred)

About the opportunity

As an Escrow Assistant at Homeward Title, you will be responsible for processing escrow files from order opening to ensuring all information and documentation is obtained, which is necessary for the transaction's closing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Texas.. 

Note: This role is atemporary, full-time position that is expected to last 120 days, with a possibility to convert to permanent status.

In this role, you will

  • Work independently on a variety of different transaction types, including cash, loan and refinance transactions.
  • Move seamlessly between multiple states/markets and understand the closing and title nuances of each
  • Open new escrow files in the appropriate closing software and obtain all necessary documentation for the closing in a timely manner, including HOA docs, mortgage payoffs, customer information, etc.
  • Work closely with real estate brokers, lenders, HOAs, escrow officers, etc to effectively communicate what is needed for closing
  • Review title commitments for accuracy and completeness to ensure all curative requirements are satisfied.
  • Solve complex title issues with the help of the escrow officer and title department
  • Ability to multitask, concentrate, and focus under pressure during interrupted workflow and changing schedules and needs using multiple forms of technology in a start-up environment.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Timely, thorough, coordinated, and eloquent communication with all of the parties involved in every transaction, < 1 hour expected response time via email and phone calls
  • Have the ability to work overtime, as requested.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an Associate Product Manager, Fulfillment to join us in delivering on our mission of building a simpler, more streamlined and customer-centric home buying and selling experience.

  • Deliver a seamless transaction experience by working closely with the Transaction Fulfillment development team.

About the opportunity

We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to help us build a simpler, more customer-centric home buying and selling experience in partnership with real estate agents.

About the opportunity

The Valuations Team is a critical part of Homeward’s risk mitigation strategy, responsible for quickly and accurately valuing the homes associated with every transaction, while actively managing the duration and quality risk of Homeward’s entire portfolio of homes. Their charter is to maximize Homeward’s Customer approval conversion, while maintaining a strong line of defense for our risk exposure - a challenging but important needle to thread.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for reviewing market data and making comparable home selections to predict home sales prices. The role will include regular analysis of historical valuation accuracy and coordination with our network of in-market agents to obtain price opinions that drive home value analysis, ultimately ensuring that Homeward accurately estimates the sale value of its customer’s existing homes and avoids overpaying for new homes. 

This position will challenge your ability to balance risk mitigation with conversion optimization, and will require you to implement evolving complex operational processes. 

 

Note: This is a TEMPORARY, PART-TIME, three-month, hourly position and will require weekend availability.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Conducting residential real estate value estimates within established turn times and accuracythresholds
  • Working independently, while effectively prioritizing tasks with competing deadlines
  • Coordinating with vendors that provide key valuations data and analytics
  • Reviewing inspection reports
  • Collaborating with other operations and sales teams to ensure we deliver a high quality customer experience
  • Identify risk factors associated with a property and quantify the estimated exposure
  • Performing regular portfolio analysis and sharing insight
  • Presenting analysis and insights in a clear and concise manner

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of residential real estate experience, preferably as an analyst, agent or property inspector
