THE ROLE
We are seeking a Product Manager to define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for Pathstream’s learning platform. This role will focus on reimagining how users engage with learning content, track their progress, and interact with new features designed to meet the needs of diverse learners.

As a Product Manager, you’ll partner closely with our engineering, learning design, and design teams to deliver cutting-edge learning experiences and modernize our platform. Your work will center on creating scalable, modular systems that allow for rapid innovation and support the evolving needs of both learners and enterprise customers.

This role is ideal for someone who is experienced with applying new technologies to how people learn, thrives in a dynamic startup environment, embraces ambiguity, and excels at turning complex challenges into actionable plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap for the learning platform, aligning with company goals and user needs.
  • Champion scalable solutions that balance the demands of enterprise buyers with the needs of individual learners.
  • Translate complex challenges into actionable product initiatives with clear priorities and outcomes.

Product Development & Execution

  • Partner closely with engineering teams to modernize the platform’s architecture, ensuring it is modular, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with learning designers and user researchers to identify opportunities for new learning formats (e.g., micro-learning, scenario-based training).
  • Lead the end-to-end development cycle, from defining user stories to final delivery, ensuring alignment with engineering and design teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between engineering, design, and other internal teams, facilitating clear communication and decision-making.

Data-Driven Insights

  • Use data and user research to prioritize features, inform product decisions, and continuously improve the platform.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers to understand learner behaviors and test new ideas to optimize engagement and effectiveness.
  • Continuously monitor how successfully new features and product developments contribute to skillbuilding and program completion.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in learning technology and AI, incorporating innovative approaches into the product.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, iteration, and learning within the product team.

ABOUT YOU

  • Product Management Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a rapidly scaling startup. Experience working on platforms with complex technical dependencies is highly desirable.
  • Learning Technology Experience:You’re experienced with effective learning design and learning product development. You are fluent in applying new technologies to how people learn in ways that are thoughtful and effective. This could include experience with generative AI, learning simulations, assessment design, competency-based learning, project-based learning and more.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and excel at navigating uncertainty with confidence and clarity.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong ability to work closely with engineering teams on backend-heavy projects, including system modernization and architecture decisions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-impact results in a dynamic setting.
  • Collaboration Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building alignment across engineering, design, and other teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Expertise in Interaction & Visual Design

  • Design user interactions that are intuitive, efficient, and accessible, enhancing the overall user experience.

  • Ability to think through complex use cases and distill how to communicate design intent through user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes across different levels of stakeholders.

THE ROLE

Pathstream is hiring a Coach with strong attention to detail and motivational skills to work 1:1 with individuals by supporting and motivating them in articulating their next step career goal.  The Coach will quickly build trust with individuals who work full-time in front-line and supervisor/managerial roles and are looking for career clarity, support in their work and professional development opportunities.  This is a part-time, contract position that is remote and based out of your home location. This role reports to Pathstream’s Coaching Operations Team.  

Coaches will  have experience in providing guidance and support to individuals who are employed as frontline workers at Fortune 500 companies to enhance their job skills and achieve their professional goals.  You have experience in developing coaching plans, assisting in goal setting and helping individuals overcome personal and professional barriers.  You are able to assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of individuals and help them work towards their goals through mindset shifts, reflection, activities and skill building.  You have experience in supporting individuals through acute work-related issues.    

A Coach will spend approximately 15-25 hours a week (depending on your availability and demand from individuals) meeting 1:1 with individuals to guide them through the career development process. A coach should be constructive and encouraging while equipping individuals with the knowledge they need to navigate the challenges of the workplace.

Coaches will also attend and participate in regular coaching team meetings by providing feedback and sharing insights about individuals and trends. Coaches will complete required tasks within 72 hours after coaching calls, including documenting coaching notes and sending follow-up emails to individuals. 

ABOUT YOU

Required Competencies: 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in career coaching, executive coaching or life coaching
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing coaching plans
  • Proven ability to offer effective 1:1 support to acute and long-term challenges

THE ROLE

As Pathstream expands its work with Fortune 500 companies, we are seeking a Head of Operations to ensure effective project management of client implementations, coordination around client-facing issues, and improvements to  our customer support operations. Over time, you will be expected to grow your team as our client needs expand. You will also be expected to look for opportunities to streamline our work and processes so that we continue to run efficiently. 


This role requires significant cross-functional coordination across multiple operational teams and our Revenue/Customer Success team. As new features or learning design elements are rolled out, you may also need to coordinate with our Learning Design, Product and Engineering teams. You need to be extremely organized, detail-oriented and a great communicator. You should be comfortable preparing for and representing Pathstream at client meetings where needed, and be able to quickly translate client requests into actionable next steps for the internal team. You are great at triaging issues as they arise,  can quickly learn how to best balance client priorities and team constraints, escalating issues to the right internal/external stakeholders as needed.

Client implementations and expansions

    • Drive cross-functional project management to ensure successful client implementations and expansions
    • Be the main internal coordinator to resolve client requests and issues, trouble-shooting internally with your cross-functional collaborators till issues are resolved
    • Work with the Customer Success team to ensure clear lines of communication with the client and that client feedback is gathered where needed
    • Strong at diagnosing the root cause of issues and identifying solutions (including new technologies) that are feasible and strategic, working with COO and other relevant stakeholders to make these changes
    • Establish, document and adapt repeatable processes and best practices for managing launches and implementations across multiple clients. 
    • Ensure consistent adoption and use of these processes and materials across teams.
    • Over time, as client roster expands, grow and manage team running implementations and expansions
  • Oversee existing program operations team
    • Ensure day-to-day program operations function runs smoothly and effectively, making role and resourcing adjustments as needed
    • Work with existing team to build out and mature our user support / help desk function
    • Define and monitor team OKRs

ABOUT YOU 

  • Excited about developing the potential of  frontline workers
  • Excellent and experienced cross-functional project manager
  • Experience with leading operational teams and knowledge of how to balance client requests with operational constraints
  • Experience with running a user support / help desk team (bonus)
