OVERVIEW

Our backend systems power the clients used by millions of customers every year to buy their groceries online. These systems must also support tight integration with the largest retailers in the US and Canada. Engineering at Instacart provides the opportunity to work on challenging scaling problems while also designing the features that will define our industry. ABOUT THE JOB

  • You will be part of a small team, with a large amount of ownership and autonomy for managing things directly.
  • You will work closely with other application engineering teams and internal stakeholders, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution.
  • You will ship high quality, scalable and robust solutions with a sense of urgency.
  • You will have the freedom to suggest and drive high-impact initiatives related to Storage solutions that unlock new innovations, accelerate application development, create resiliency & high-availability, and right-size storage needs company-wide.

Instacart's technology is constantly changing and adapting. Some of the technologies you would use at Instacart include:

  • Languages: Go, Ruby and Python
  • Platforms: RDS Postgres, DynamoDB, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, EC2 and selected GCP services
  • Observability and Analytics: Datadog, Snowflake, Sentry

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of working experience as a software engineer  in one or more large-scale cloud services or application development environment 
  • 2+ Years working with AWS RDS Postgres with a strong knowledge of SQL 
  • Self-motivation and an enjoyment for a growth-oriented startup environment
  • A strong sense of ownership that drives improvements for customers as well as automation and scale for the systems.
  • The drive & ability to dive deep into technical challenges and champion root causes, solving problems correctly. 
  • You enjoy being highly productive, shipping code, reviewing others’ PRs and iteratively guiding code bases towards best practices and excellence. 
  • You are able to scale yourself effectively via junior engineers  and accelerate the team through effective designs, written & communication, delegation, establishing standards & best practices, code reviews. 
  • Strong ability to architect and design systems using common back-end Web technologies (such as Go, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc) in a production environment
  • An ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions
  • Experience working with a large codebase on a cross functional team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical engineering 
  • You are a mentor to other software engineers, helping equip them and grow as software development professionals

Your role

Your experience

  • Expert in SQL and business intelligence/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or similar). We use Looker and Hex for scalable dashboards and exploratory analysis.
  • Experience building new data pipelines and tables in BigQuery and DBT
  • Experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) data models, including querying and analyzing key objects to support business and marketing insights.

À votre arrivée, vous rejoignez le pôle Conseil de Forvis Mazars qui adresse les secteurs de l'Industrie et des services et plus précisément pour intégrer la practice Pilotage de la performance (EPM). Ce pôle conseil accompagne les problématiques et enjeux du quotidien ainsi que les grands projets de transformation des directions financières et opérationnelles dans leurs prises de décision, leurs enjeux de pilotage, de performance, de transformation et d'optimisation de leur fonction (Organisation / Processus / Outils).

  • Vous analysez des processus de FP&A (Plan stratégique, Plan Moyen Terme, Budget, Forecast), de simulation, de consolidation et de reporting,
  • Vous définissez des processus et des indicateurs de pilotage de la performance financière, extra-financière et opérationnelle,
  • Vous participez à la définition et au cadrage des solutions EPM à mettre en œuvre,
  • Vous concevez et spécifiez des solutions EPM,
  • Vous vérifiez le bon fonctionnement des solutions EPM implémentées en réalisant une conduite du changement (formation, communication et adhésion des futurs utilisateurs) et vous assurez un suivi et une gestion du projet (waterfall ou agile).

Qualifications

Vous êtes en dernière année d’un diplôme de niveau Bac+5 issu d’une grande école de commerce, d’université ou d’ingénieur et vous avez idéalement une spécialisation dans l’informatique de gestion et administration ou en Business Intelligence.

Vous souhaitez réaliser un stage de fin d’études concret et valorisant, pouvant mener à une embauche.

Vous êtes intéressé(e) par le domaine du Conseil et d’intégration des systèmes d’information, animé(e) par l’opportunité d’accompagner de petites, moyennes et grandes entreprises dans la résolution de leurs problématiques de pilotage de performance. Enfin, vous possédez idéalement des compétences techniques d’une solution EPM (Jedox, Pigment, Onestream, Tagetik, Workday Adaptive Planning, IBM Planning Analytics, SAP etc), vous connaissez quelques langages de bases de données (SQL et algorithmie) et vous êtes à l’aise avec Excel.

 

Cette opportunité est à pourvoir exclusivement en stage de fin d'études (Master 2) à partir de janvier 2025 pour 4 à 6 mois.

Aetos LLC is seeking a Senior Informatica ETL Engineer team member to join an existing team providing Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions to a government client. The ideal individual will have 5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Must be responsible for successful technical delivery and support of Data Warehousing, Data Migration and Transformation, and Business Intelligence projects using an Agile project management methodology. The duties of this role will include all aspects of data processing, storage, and ingestion, as well as data analysis and visualization of relative multi-program data. 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:  

ETL/Data Warehouse: 

  • Create, maintain, and reverse engineer the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures for the Data Warehouse (DW) environment using the Informatica PowerCenter suite. 
  • Perform analysis of RDBMS tables and PowerCenter objects to answer questions pertaining to the data warehouse and the data transformations. 
  • Create and maintain scripts and files that perform various functions on the Informatica integration servers.  Use Putty or other Unix text editor to maintain Linux environment.  
  • Maintain data model documentation (ERwin) if changes to the ETL require database changes, and develop, test, and deploy associated DDL.  
  • Manage releases of changes to ETL, scripts, DDL, and scheduling components from Development to Test to Production.   
  • Provide support for the Test, Certification, and Production DW environments.  
  • Maintain Consolidated Data Model (CDM).  
  • Any knowledge of Informatica Cloud Integration Services a plus 
  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of financial data marts and enterprise data warehouse using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data, structured query language skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.  
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved delivery of data supporting agency financial operations and mission.   
  • Convert business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified ETL, analyses, reporting and visualizations.  
  • Define and log work using JIRA.  
  • Participate in recurring team meetings (Agile). 

Education & Qualifications Required:   

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or commensurate experience in a related field.   
  • 5 + years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter at development level (creating mappings, workflows, etc). 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in ETL development support and maintenance. 
  • Strong SQL (Oracle) abilities. 
  • Proficiency in shell scripting 
  • ETL environment where Salesforce a source a plus 
  • ETL environment where Control-M used a plus 
  • 2+ years of Informatica PowerCenter administration.  If in a Linux environment a plus. 
  • Knowledge or usage of Informatica IICS, EDC, and or AXON a plus.  
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.  
  • Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.  
  • Familiarity with Erwin data modeling tool.  
  • Experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint environment.  
  • Experience with AGILE and writing User Stories.  
  • Must be able to present diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to varied audiences.
