The Role

An exciting opportunity to take ownership of the Fraud and Chargeback team at Plum. You will be responsible for a team of specialists and leading strategic initiatives to make product and process improvements to increase our fraud prevention capabilities and improve customer experience. The role will be based in our Athens or Nicosia Offices.

You Will

  • Look after the day to day operations of the Fraud and Disputes team and allocate their daily tasks.
  • Providing expertise in various fraud types (e.g. card fraud, identity theft, account takeover) with strong investigative and countermeasure skills to minimise fraud losses and chargebacks.
  • Use your experience and expertise to guide the Fraud and Disputes team in conducting complex fraud investigations and manage escalations. 
  • Be monitoring, detecting, and preventing fraudulent activities and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively suggest product, internal tooling and process improvements. Gain stakeholder support and collaborate closely with Compliance, Product and other teams to implement changes.
  • Stay informed about new fraud trends and evolve strategies to meet the changing demands of the financial crime landscape including new regulations.
  • Mentor and coach team members, actively provide feedback and take an active interest in their career growth and progression.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge base that includes standard operating procedures, workflow descriptions, training materials etc.
  • Become the main point of contact for relevant partners, coordinate daily activities and help resolve any unforeseen issues.

Ideally You Have

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role with 1+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • Expertise in fraud and disputes processes, with a strong understanding of customer-centric operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Visa disputes and transaction processing and of Direct Debit lifecycle (BACS & SEPA), including chargebacks and late failures.
  • Hands-on experience investigating various fraud typologies, such as ATO, ID Theft, Card Fraud and APP.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on problem-solving mindset, with the ability to act quickly and decisively.
  • An empathetic and developmental leadership style, with a focus on coaching and motivating others.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join the team and help expand the value we deliver across Plum.

You will be part of a well established Product Analytics team, consisting of Data Analysts embedded across Product, Marketing and Operations, supporting the companies decision making through data.

You will join to be accountable for the roadmap of insights and analytics related to a specific Product Pillar consisting of multiple Squads, working as a key reference and point of mentorship for Data Analysts at lower seniority levels.

What will you do

  • Lead and manage a small team of Data Analysts (1 to 3) across a Product Pillar consisting of multiple Squads. You will work as a key enabler to effective prioritisation and mentorship across the Pillar.
  • Become domain expert across an area at Plum, establishing yourself as the point of contact for analytical support.
  • Help the teams you work with identify the opportunities (new features, products, bugs etc) they should focus on, by linking these to impact on the metrics of interest.
  • Propose and define success KPIs and guide the teams towards data-driven decision making around these.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Marketeers at Plum to impact size opportunities and estimate the impact these had once released.
  • Produce deep dive analysis that influence the trajectory of the team’s roadmap.
  • Data modelling and analysis of key concepts, KPIs and patterns using dbt, BigQuery and SQL.
  • Create interactive and informative dashboards and reports in Looker.
  • Plan, implement, and analyse A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new product features against KPIs.
  • Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to work on a modern Data platform (BigQuery, Looker, dbt), surrounded by an eclectic team of great Data professionals covering areas such as Product Analytics, Data Science and Data & Analytics Engineering.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Payments Squad in our Athens office. You’ll be expected to deeply understand the payments landscape, regulatory challenges, and the operational needs of our users to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant transactions as they build their wealth.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our payment processing infrastructure, and ensuring our treasury functions—including how we hold and move funds—operate efficiently and effectively.   • Lead the Payments Squad at Plum, driving the development and optimisation of our payment systems, including and not limited to Direct Debit and VRP, Faster Payments, SEPA Instant and Card Payments.
  • Manage the treasury processes related to fund holding and movement, ensuring smooth and secure transactions while minimising risk.
  • Oversee the entire payment lifecycle, from customer payment initiation to settlement, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams to enhance payment security, reduce payment failures, and optimise user experience.
  • Consistently identify new opportunities to improve and innovate within the payments ecosystem, ensuring Plum remains competitive and compliant across multiple markets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer payment behaviour, and continuously improve our payment offerings to meet user needs and industry standards.
  • Drive the planning process and roadmap prioritisation for your team, aligning with Plum’s overall OKRs.
  • Work closely with Group PM and other PMs to define and construct a long-term strategy for payments and treasury operations across Plum’s products.

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • Has proven experience managing payment schemes in the UK and/or Europe, particularly within a fast-growing fintech or financial institution.
  • Has hands-on experience with payment schemes like Direct Debit, Faster Payments, SEPA Instant, Card Payments, and also treasury management for fund holding and movement.
  • Can manage a team of engineers and effectively communicate payments-related requirements and challenges.

We are opening a unique opportunity for a Head of Commercial. It’s the first commercial and pricing role at Plum, a role which will be key for our ability to scale sustainably across Europe! You will be setting up this new practice at Plum from the ground up, whilst focusing initially on 3 key topics:

  • Subscription pricing - Subscriptions are the main source of revenue for Plum
  • Pricing of our savings products
  • European expansion (focus on France and Greece)

You will report directly to the CEO and have an opportunity to own and drive key decisions for Plum, whilst working with a dynamic cross-functional team.

What will you do

  • Holistically drive the decision making regarding Subscription pricing, promoting alignment across key teams involved (Product, Finance, Marketing)
  • Form a top level strategy for pricing savings and investment products at Plum, taking into consideration the different subscriber and user segments.
  • Own the teams responsible for scaling Plum in France and Greece, two markets we already have strong presence and key partnerships (EuroBank Greece x Plum partnership).
  • Form key partnerships with internal teams like Subscription Product Squad and Finance.
  • Take a data-driven approach when possible to your decisions
  • Form a central view of competitor pricing strategies so we can collectively learn from it.
  • Scale a team to be able to tackle the many challenges we have in the domains mentioned above, taking key part on hiring this talent.


Who you are

  • You are experienced in owning and growing PnL of key B2C products, using commercial and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in a B2C strong Product centric setting.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing economic fundamentals and methodologies we can use to make decisions in this area. You will build scenario for pricing sensitivity.
  • Ideally experienced across international expansion projects
  • Experienced working cross-functionally, especially with Product & Engineering functions, as well as Marketing and Finance.
