Our Opportunity

Our Solutions Engineering organization is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead a highly skilled SE Organization focused on Strategic customers. The Solutions Engineering team partners with our enterprise customers, product teams and ecosystem to realize their full potential through the adoption of prescriptive solutions that drive their growth and success. 

We work with product & engineering teams, and CISO to C-level executives at large global brands who are building solutions with Snyk.  Our Solutions Engineering team works closely with Account Executives, Professional Services, Technical Success Managers, Partners, and the Product Team to develop and execute the account strategy for Snyk’s enterprise customers.

As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will lead, build, and mentor a world-class Enterprise SE team at scale.  You will drive collaboration from cross-functional teams to influence and unify stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive business outcomes.

Reporting to the AMER leader of Solutions Engineering, you will play a hands-on role in building a team of strategic solutions engineers and Channel solutions engineers, owning the revenue and consumption responsibilities for the group.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Acting as a business and technical thought leader able to partner and drive Regional, Account strategy and execution plan working with cross-functional partners
  • Serving as a CTO to Executive Champion or Executive Sponsor at customers 
  • Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams (Professional Services, Tech Services and Product)  to develop joint go-to-market initiatives that drive positive developer and appsec experience and outcomes while driving revenue growth
  • Working with your sales partner leaders to develop comprehensive regional strategy plan, account plan and opportunity plan
  • Recruiting, hiring, leading, retaining, and coaching a world-class solutions engineering team.  Be an advocate for solutions engineering within the organization
  • Managing an SE team from consultative to technical qualification to value driven GTM execution
  • Being a leader of leaders in a 2nd line role covering the Enterprise business in AMER
  • Nurturing and being the role model of a positive outlook, can-do attitude and growth mindset, while leading and keeping the SEs motivated in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Using your executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
  • This will be a customer facing role, getting in front of technical & executive champions regularly and lead EBCs with important customers
  • Providing guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategy, product obstacles/gaps and represent the team’s needs to executive staff
  • Interpreting complex problems, create simple solutions and collaborate closely with prospects, channel partners and our sales team to deliver winning solutions
  • Building processes to measure the performance and impact of SE team and ensure that the team is optimized to meet rapidly evolving business needs
  • Being a thought leader on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and leverage this knowledge to shape strategy around user engagements 
  • Representng Snyk at industry events and conferences, customer business reviews and contribute to new ideas and industry best practices
  • Championing the voice of our customers to influence product direction and feature priorities
  • Application Security, ASPM ecosystems and practice expertise would be highly advantageous

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity with 2+ years of second line management experience, ideally with enterprise fortune 2000 customers
  • A proven track record of leading an enterprise and strategic accounts SE team leading complex sales cycles, hiring, training and retaining top talent.
  • A strong knowledge of the developer, DevOps, Application Security, and ASPM ecosystems and practices
  • AMER-wide role in leading complex sales and solution organization at enterprise scale, this can include leading professional services and partner organizations.
  • A track record of building and leading solution architecture/ engineering  teams ideally in a SaaS or API usage-based businesses
  • Experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level 
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work
  • Appetite for learning about new technologies and you’re curious about how things work under the hood

Our Opportunity

The Associate Content Marketer will support the Content Marketing team in driving content clarity, consistency, and collaboration. This role involves working with various teams within Snyk to create and refine content that meets messaging goals and adheres to the Snyk brand. The focus will be on writing, editing, and project management—particularly around blog content.

The Associate Content Marketer will play a pivotal role in our emerging content engine, creating and editing unique and compelling stories via blog posts, Q&As, videos, web copy, and more. We’re looking for a talented, entrepreneurial, and driven Technical Leader to join our AMER Technical Success Management (TSM) team to guide Snyk’s customers and help build the future of post-sales at Snyk.  In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Director, of Technical Success. 

As a Manager of technical Success, you know how to design and drive strategic improvements to scale processes, services, and systems that will enable the TSM organization to exceed its adoption, retention, and growth objectives. 

You’ll spend your time:

  • Defining and driving the strategy and detailed execution plan for Snyk’s Technical Success Managers.
  • Represent Snyk’s emerging post-sales offerings with the theater
  • Hiring, mentoring, and shaping the capability of a multi-national and expanding team of TSMs.  
  • Designing engagement capabilities and processes that allow Snyk to effectively reach and improve strategic relationships with each of our customers based on deep analytics and personalization of use cases.
  • Working cross-functionally to drive key business objectives supporting high-profile client deployments, new product roll-outs, installations, and client escalations in partnership with sales, operations, product management, engineering, and technical support.
  • Personally leading the team and as needed, building strong relationships with key customers.
  • Partnering with a world-class GTM team and being part of a global TSM leadership team.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Snyk Platform.

You should apply if you:

  • Manage the renewal and expansion sales cycles across accounts- coordinating specialist support as necessary in alignment with account strategy
  • Owning the post-sales end-to-end customer relationship in assigned accounts:
    • Understanding the health and sentiment of the account
    • Monitor renewal risks (e.g. low adoption, loss of champion, etc.) and take proactive action to mitigate ahead of the renewal timeframe
    • Setting the goals for each customer
    • Coordinating and ​​connecting customers with necessary Snyk resources; managing Snyk resource usage i.e. Snyk Support or Product Team
    • Using creative licensing packages and incentives to keep the account ARR at even or above
    • Aim to help Snyk become a trusted advisor- provide customer champions information on the ever-changing appsec landscape

  • Carrying a quota with specific metrics associated with the sales cycle

What You’ll Need:

    • 3+ Years of work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Renewal Manager, Licensing Specialist, or relevant role
    • Experience working  with technical customers previously, and proven knowledge about the software development life cycle or application security space 
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders based on their pain and biz requirements at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
    • Ability to lead and drive Sales strategy and vision for a mission-critical suite of products delivered via a Software as a Service (SaaS) model
    • Experience managing 40+ accounts, negotiating deals, as well as familiarity with channel partners (resellers), all while navigating internal stakeholder requirements

Our Opportunity

The Go-to-Market Enablement team exists to support and drive performance across our client and partner-facing teams, and to support the growth of our company at scale. You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Creating and owning the partner enablement strategy to support our global partner ecosystem (Channel, GSI and Consultancy, and Tech Alliance Partners) and drive revenue growth. 
  • Steering and supporting partner sales, presales, and implementation enablement programs at a global level, in partnership and alignment with the Global Partner team. 
  • Design, produce, and deliver partner enablement programs across multiple regions to drive revenue growth. Work closely with the Snyk Partner teams, Customer Success, Sales Engineers, Marketing,  and Sales leaders. 
  • Track the success of training programs and certifications, understand gaps, and continuously improve these programs.  
  • Leverage scalable approaches to content creation and enablement frameworks to efficiently package technical and implementation product information. 

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • 5+years of Partner/Channel Enablement experience.
  • Experience in a Partner Enablement or Technical Enablement role, preferably with experience in DevOps and/or Open Source software.
  • An understanding of a successful partner program and the required technical training and certifications to support that program. Experience building sales, technical and implementation certifications with subject matter experts to support these programs. 
  • Demonstrates track record of solution selling and value-based selling techniques.
  • Have experience writing technical documentation and building experiential learning programs using virtual lab environments.
  • Are able to self-manage workload to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly.
  • Posses strong collaboration skills and ability to gather feedback and build consensus with multiple stakeholders.

Our Opportunity

We’re looking for a talented software engineer to join our Security Intelligence Team to work on our security data pipeline and internal tooling that enables our analysts to efficiently curate and enhance the vulnerability data that powers all of Snyk’s products.

The Security Intelligence Team works to develop novel, effective methods to sift through likely vulnerabilities in open source which haven’t yet been discovered, verified, or disclosed.

We need your help to help push our internal tooling and systems to the next level! You will play an integral part in the development and progression of Snyk’s Vulnerability Management System.

We are an agile team consisting of a mix of engineers and security analysts. We are also a distributed team spread geographically across the UK, Romania and Israel.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Planning, designing and maintaining systems and tools to help our analysts work more efficiently
  • Working with other engineers and analysts in the team and group
  • Influencing technical decisions and roadmaps for the team and group
  • Working across the full stack, in a CI/CD environment

Our Opportunity

  • Experience working closely with highly technical customers within the Enterprise (Fortune 100) space in North America

We’re looking for a driven, customer-focused Solutions Engineer to interface between our customers (new and current) and our product engineering, marketing, partner and customer success teams, both supporting the adoption of Snyk in new organizations and helping to evolve what Snyk has to offer.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Leverage your business and technical acumen to collaborate with customers to comprehend their business processes, goals, and challenges.
  • Conduct DevSecOps workshops to consult, advise and guide customers on their developer and application security programs
  • Design and propose Snyk-based solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the developer landscape, AI Copilot capabilities and how Snyk platform and its capabilities align
  • Becoming a technical product expert, evangelist, and coach, able to give technical sales demonstrations to customers and partners 
  • Educating customers and partners about the adoption of open-source and cloud-native technologies and the importance of empowering developers to stay secure while using Copilots.
  • Driving the technical aspects of the sale, providing demonstrations, managing technical proof of concepts (POCs), demonstrating product/technical expertise, and sharing best practice
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers during the implementation phase working with our customer success organization
  • Interfacing with our sales, engineering, product, and customer success teams to build solutions that solve our customers’ problems
  • Participate in the development of proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and knowledge resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, Snyk updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Shaping and informing decisions on new features based on your experience and feedback from customers.
  • Build and maintain business and technical champions at our key customers and in the ecosystem
  • Thought leadership at important industry events and tradeshows, traveling to conferences and meeting customers and prospects in person

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years or similar in solution engineering, development roles or enterprise security consulting
  • Proven track record in managing and exceeding customer expectations in the entire customer lifecycle
  • Ability to manage and present at executive to practitioner level at customers
  • Expert knowledge of the developer and DevOps ecosystems and application security best practices 
  • Passion for learning about and tinkering with new technologies - you’re curious about how things work under the hood!
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work
  • Ability to plan and succeed, setting milestones along the way, over-communicate, create alignment, rally resources, and satisfy stakeholders
  • Experience working closely with highly technical audiences 
  • A team-oriented mindset, one team culture fit is a must
  • Appreciation for diversity and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life
  • Be able to navigate and engage with people in larger enterprise environments

  • Have worked in early-stage, fast-growth startups… especially in developer tooling with a balance enterprise level execution
  • Self motivated, continuous learner who loves to teach and coaching is a habit
  • A developer background or experience with coding and/or deep security expect
  • Prior experience in a direct or matrixed role with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
  • Experience working with the channel ecosystem
  • Experience working as an enterprise or strategic sales engineer
  • Enjoy mentoring your peers
