The Senior Field Marketing Specialist, Americaswill help develop and execute regional and vertical-specific marketing strategies that align with sales goals and regional business objectives. This role will work closely with sales teams, product marketing, and global marketing teams to create localized campaigns, events, and programs that generate qualified leads and foster deeper relationships with prospects and customers. Job Responsibilities 

  • Field Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Regional Marketing Plans:Execute annual and quarterly regional field marketing plans focused on our land and expand strategy to meet regional sales targets.     • Marketing Analytics: Leverage tools like CRM systems, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), and analytics platforms to measure campaign impact and report on key metrics (pipeline growth, event attendance, lead conversion, etc.).   • Budget Management: Manage field marketing budgets for regional programs and events, ensuring cost-effective and efficient execution of campaigns.

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Experience:
    • 5 years of experience in field marketing or demand generation in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
    • Strong background in event marketing, including trade shows, webinars, and regional events.
    • Proven experience executing and optimizing regional marketing programs, demand generation, and account-based marketing strategies.
  • Skills:

In this role, you will oversee Brightcove’s market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and engagement with the analyst community. The goal is to help Brightcove prioritize our market opportunities, optimize our competitive positioning, and inform analysts about the unique value that Brightcove brings to the markets we serve.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market research

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, Brightcove seeks a visionary leader for the role of Vice President Digital Strategy, Performance Marketing. Position Overview 

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), The Vice President of Sales Enablement will be pivotal in driving the success of our customer facing teams by equipping them with the tools, resources, and training needed to achieve and exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of effective SaaS go-to-market best practices, and a proven track record in leading an effective sales enablement team and operation globally.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior sales leadership to identify key priorities and productivity goals for the sales team.
  • Sales Training and Development:
    • Design and implement effective sales training programs to improve the selling skills, product knowledge, and industry acumen of the sales and sales support teams.
    • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Content and Resources Management:
    • Create and manage a repository of sales enablement materials, including playbooks, presentations, case studies, and competitive analysis.
    • Ensure that the customer facing teams have access to up-to-date and relevant content to support their selling efforts.
    • Manage the use of external resources on a as needed basis.
    • Manage the programming of an annual sales kick off event.
  • Technology and Tools:
    • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement tools and technologies to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
    • Monitor the usage and effectiveness of sales tools and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.
    • Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and track progress against goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
    • Collaborate with product management to provide feedback on product features and enhancements based on sales team input.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales enablement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve their goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.

Qualifications/Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales enablement or related role.
  • Experience with B2B2C or B2C sales, enabling sales teams to engage with consumer-facing markets and speak the consumer language.
  • 5+ years experience managing and coaching an enablement team
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and video platform technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional business acumen and systems thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience influencing and building credibility with high-performing teams across cultures
  • Adaptability with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement tools and salesforce.com 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Develop all levels of employees within our organisation to ensure successful succession planning by setting and tracking development goals and implementing PIP (Performance Improvement Plans) when performance issues are identified. Follow a people-first approach to ensure this.
  • Participate as an evaluator of soft & technical skills to support the hiring and interviewing processes.

Response Management, Product & Process Improvement

  • Act as a Technical Incident Manager for infrastructure and services outages on large-scale cloud applications (AWS), in-house applications, and local bugs.
  • Drive continuous process improvements/initiatives to increase productivity, improve customer satisfaction (CSAT) and consistently meet business KPIs.
  • Represent the customer to internal stakeholders in our Product and Engineering teams and ensure that our product and documentation reflect our customers’ needs.
  • Participate in global reviews of the organisational tools, performance, and policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvements and standardisation across sites globally.
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

Reporting & Communication

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred but not required)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing environment with a minimum of 3+ years in team/people management, with the ability to demonstrate management experience achieving adherence to Service Level Agreements. 
  • Experience delivering on global strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and experience.
  • Experience managing large enterprise customer partner relationships and advocating for technical issues or needs.
  • Required to be flexible, detail-oriented, and organised, as well as have the ability to multitask.
  • Native Japanese and business-level English communication skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Proven ability to work with the team to quickly and calmly resolve technical issues.
  • Exposure to online technical problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of internet technologies, including browsers, networking, firewalls & proxy servers.
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Nice to have

  • Programming experience with at least one server-side programming language (Ruby, PHP, Java, Swift, Python).
  • Familiarity and working knowledge with online video and rich media.
  • Exposure to video encoding applications.
  • Strong data entry skills.
