Intent is hiring a Remote Senior Project Manager

We’re on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our brilliant PM team. You’ll focus on managing mobile and web projects for IoT, wearables and connected devices.

You’ll have an assigned buddy, a person from your team who’ll help you onboard smoothly, get to know our company and enhance your skills.
You will work in the Polish time zone for our U.S.-based clients.

    • Requirements: 4+ years in managing software development projects (including software house/agency environment), ability to act as a Scrum Master and Product Owner if needed, strong command of written and spoken English (C1).
    • Salary: 17-23K on B2B + up to 26 paid holidays or 14-19K gross on contract of employment (UoP).

If you would like to shape your own role, want to learn and are not afraid to try and fail, if you can speak up when something bothers you and you like the vibes of working in a home-like environment – we are the place for you!

    You'll be:

    • The single point of contact for the customer – an excellent communicator, diplomat, and negotiator.
    • Someone who follows the current trends in the web and mobile technologies.

    Tools you’ll use:

    • Float.
    • Jira, Confluence.
    • Slack, Zoom, GSuite.

    First 3 months at intent:

We are really keen on having a mutual fit with you, so the general aim of the first 3 months is to find out if we go together like peanut butter and jelly. Joining intent means joining the people that create it, not a specific project, so if the one you have does not fit you, you will have a chance to change it.

For the first week, you will be getting to know your team, the company and its values, and the tools we use. You can count on HR, your buddy, and your team in general to help you with all the new information. You will also receive your first tasks. You can expect constant feedback coming from your leader.

After each month passes, you will meet with an HR representative to share your thoughts and impressions and to hear what others say about your work. After the second month, your team leader and an HR person will meet with you to discuss your probation period and next steps we want to take – continue cooperating with you, fix some issues we see or part our ways. After the third month, you will be a fully fledged intent employee!

    Recruitment process:

    1. A screening call with an HR person (30 mins).
    2. A short homework.

SoftIron is hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer

    About SoftIron

We’re building a different kind of IT company, one that meets our customers and our own team on their turf, on their terms. We’re growing fast right now and you can be part of it with all the opportunities to add value that come with that. Curious? Great! That’s what we like in a Softie!

Our Softies are a diverse and globally distributed team that are on a mission to change the future of data infrastructure with task-specific hardware and open source. We aim to do all the hard work so that our customers can adopt the best open source has to offer in a bulletproof and resilient way. Our team thinks differently, working as an integrated but globally dispersed team of experts in hardware manufacturing, firmware, software, infrastructure and everything in between.

As we grow we're looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to the team. You will be responsible for the design of the next generation of data center products. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and passionate about working on system level products. You should have strong engineering fundamentals, and experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.

    What you'll be doing

    • Writing command and control software for clusters of networked machines in Go.
    • Designing new user visible features in conjunction with UI developers and UX designers.
    • Writing command line utilities.

You should apply if you have

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years’ experience in a multi-person coding team.
    • Belief in the importance of clear and readable, rather than “clever”, code.
    • Experience with Go is highly desirable, but not required. Experience with related languages (C, C++, Java, etc.) and a desire to learn a new language is sufficient.
    • Good understanding of the fundamental problems inherent in highly concurrent programs and distributed systems.
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways.

Ideally you’d also have this experience

    • Experience with basic authentication, encryption and security design principles.
    • Experience with git, Gitlab (or Github) and CI.
    • Expertise in debugging highly multithreaded software.
    • Experience with any of SMB, iSCSI, NFS or S3.
    • A working knowledge of software-defined storage, specifically Ceph.
    • Experience designing clean and well documented APIs.

    Benefits

We pay competitively in the market in which you want to be located, and provide an attractive benefits package including significant share options in our fast growing, mid-stage start-up.

    You can expect

    • Share options
    • Health plan/supplement benefits
    • Retirement plan
    • Home office set up budget (if working remotely)

    Location

We operate globally and also have some pretty cool offices worldwide. Time travel (aka time zone optimisation) is one of our super powers and we use this to our best advantage in setting up teams and how we work. To best complement our team and customer needs, this role is based in either the US or UK.

    Recruitment agencies

We work with like-minded companies across all of our business. We’re not into vendor lock-in of any type, we don’t do the hard sell and we treat time and attention as valuable resources. Recruitment agents, please don’t send us unsolicited resumes or CVs unless we’ve asked you to work with us on the role - it just shows us you’re not our type.

    Product Designer

    OneDomeLondon, GB Remote

OneDome is hiring a Remote Product Designer

    ProductDesigner

Founded in 2016, OneDome is on a mission to transform the buying and selling property experience for consumers and property service businesses in the UK.

Our property technology is an end-to-end platform that helps consumers with their property search and purchase, while our B2B products empower property professionals to adapt to their customers’ changing needs.

Millions of people participate in property transactions every year in the UK. In most cases, it’s a stressful and unpleasant process held up by outdated, admin-heavy and labour-intensive processes. We are changing this experience forever using data, powerful digital technology, and an innovative business model.

With offices in London and Kiev, we are a young, fast-growing, well-funded start-up ready to reshape the property industry to better reflect the consumer demands of the 21st Century.

So, that’s what we do, and here’s who we are…

We are obsessive simplifiers: we go into great detail to find ways to deliver a simple experience for our home movers. We relentlessly seek out ways of making it easier to get over the home purchase finishing line.

We are strong believers in what we do: we are excited about having an opportunity to fix one of the most stressful experiences in a consumer’s life, as well as help people complete their most crucial acquisition free of any stress.

Our values reflect our journey and our ways of working…

Entrepreneurship: we are dreamers and hard workers. We have to be - building a startup to fix one of life’s most stressful events requires hard work, stamina, responsibility of ownership, and persistence.

Transparency: transparency is at the core of our products and we believe that this will make the process more efficient for everybody. We have a strong dislike for opaqueness and complexity and prefer to keep things simple and transparent.

Collaboration: we believe in collaboration and teamwork. Property transactions are a collaborative effort between all key stakeholders and so is our approach to improving it.

We’re in a period of explosive growth and now have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Product Designer, to take responsibility for design across the company. You will be focusing on the UX and UI of our market-disrupting products, along with leading the design team and managing and coaching junior members of the team.

What will you be doing, day-to-day?

    • Participate in UX/UI lifecycle: conducting research, translating research insights into ideas, and finally designing the workflows and complex interactions to bring the products to life
    • Work with the product team to identify opportunities for product improvements and to understand priorities and product requirements
    • Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly identify viability, then create the detailed level designs to be turned into product changes
    • Work with the engineering team to ensure that designs are technically achievable, and that the final product meets your requirements
    • Make sure that designs are consistent across our suite of products
    • Own the company's design system
    • Mentor junior designers
    • Work with marketing to help define our visual communication

What skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

    • 3+ years of experience working in UX or UI design on a digital product
    • Experience with B2B and B2C products
    • Appreciation of the product development process, from problem-solving through to detailed UI
    • Fluency with visual and interaction design tools such as Sketch, InVision
    • Excellent communication of design work supported by an understanding of business needs
    • Degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
    • Competency with HTML/CSS and ability to work within a highly technical environment, as well as good understanding of technical requirements and limitations
    • Experience with designing marketplace and/or SaaS products, or;
    • Design experience gained in an agency environment
    • Experience in/with tech startups
    • Ability to collaborate proactively with different teams across the company
    • Specific experience of property marketplaces would be highly beneficial, but is not essential

    What do we offer?

As well as competitive salaries, we offer our people a range of flexible working options, a challenging, supportive and (in normal times!) social environment, generous share options and constant personal development. If you’re ambitious, driven and highly analytical, data obsessed and allergic to the word ‘no’, come and join us on our mission to change the property market for good.

All our roles are currently remote, and there’s the option to continue with this in the mix, but we are usually based at our office in Westminster.

GraphiteHQ is hiring a Remote Project Manager

Graphite is a boutique digital marketing agency that builds scalable growth engines for consumer technology companies such as Ticketmaster, MasterClass, BetterUp, and Honey. We specialize in search engine optimization (SEO), content strategy, mobile app growth, and conversion optimization. We are a fully distributed team that is dedicated to creating an environment where you do the best work of your career. With headquarters in San Francisco and team members across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Canada, we are ready to welcome our next team member!

The Project Manager will assist with management of Webflow, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and UX projects, including implementation, ticketing, and client communications. The role is critical to help push forward projects and drive impact for clients.
