Position Overview:As we continue to grow and scale, the Sales Desk Manager will be a key player at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations. This high visibility role will help us optimize and streamline our deal processes, enabling efficient and profitable deal execution, accelerating deal velocity, and maintaining consistency with our overall business objectives. This role will report into Praetorian's VP of Finance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies, approval workflows, and legal guidelines.
  • Provide strategic insights on complex deal structures, terms, and conditions, balancing profitability with customer value.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to develop scalable, customer-centric deal solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve deal roadblocks and optimize deal velocity.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines for pricing, discounting, and approval processes to ensure deals align with company objectives. 
  • Evaluate financial and strategic impact of custom pricing requests.
  • Ensure all deals comply with company policies, contractual terms, and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust deal desk policies accordingly.
  • Assist in the procurement process, including vendor assessment and contract negotiation.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to improve financial outcomes and protect company interests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, pricing strategy, or similar role (Manager)
  • 2+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, pricing strategy, or similar role (Analyst)
  • Experience in Cybersecurity, Professional Services, and/or SaaS strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of complex deal structures, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of improving deal processes and operational efficiency
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and CPQ software

Core responsibilities:
Praetorian is seeking a Managing Director to lead account management and revenue expansion within its existing customer base. As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for the account development strategy and driving upsell/cross-sell opportunities within Praetorian's Enterprise accounts. You will be expected to leverage your domain expertise and a consultative selling approach to maximize the value that Praetorian delivers while identifying opportunities to expand Praetorian's footprint. To be effective, the Managing Director will need to build executive and operational level relationships, develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ business objectives, and work with Praetorian stakeholders internally to develop an account strategy to achieve the desired business outcomes. Specifically, the Managing Director will hold the following core responsibilities:

  • Achieve aggressive revenue retention and expansion targets within assigned accounts

  • Execute engagements focused on NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF), CIS 18 Critical Security Controls, and other advisory based engagements.

Position Overview:Praetorian is seeking an Accountant that is ready for that next step in their career as a Senior Accountant. They will possess a successful track record in accounting and financial operations in a high growth company setting. This position is instrumental and the activities that you will own have extreme impact on the overall success of the company. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Controller your job is to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain the financial health of the company. Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the month-end accounting close entries to ensure General Ledger postings are complete within required 3 day deadline and in accordance with accounting principles
  • Own all balance sheet reconciliations and manage 3rd party relationships when discrepancies occur
  • Review and research payroll
  • Review and approve company expense reports
  • Partner with external CPA firm on state and federal income tax filings
  • Manage state franchise and sales tax filings
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and analysis
  • Track, manage, and audit actuals against budgets
  • Investigate budget and variance issues
  • Implement new accounting guidelines and standards as necessary
  • Streamline accounting systems and improve processes to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
  • Holds Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or on track to obtaining CPA 
  • Prior track record in a high-growth start up, small team company
  • Experience with employee reimbursement software 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in GAAP and other accounting, auditing, legal standards
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree from a tier one institution

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in public accounting 
  • Experience with revenue reconciliation in the professional services industry, ASC 606
  • Background working in a SaaS product/professional Services company 
  • Tool sets: Quickbooks, NetSuite and MacOS 
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with reconciliation across multiple subsidiaries across different countries
  • Located in Eastern or Central time zones
