Cloudflare’s solutions engineering (SE) function is responsible for collaborating with clients from early-stage ideation through to planning for production. Being much more than an expert solely in Cloudflare’s services, our Solutions Engineers are expected to sit alongside our peers in our clients, and to contribute their energy, ideas and opinion on solving the hard problems we face in our industry today. Often this means deep work on the art-of-the possible (and sometimes being willing to put aside preconceptions on the impossible!).

What you’ll do

As a Solutions Engineering Manager, you set the cadence of the team’s communication, collaboration and culture. Supporting the personalised individual development plan for each team member, you will coach our SE colleagues across Southern Europe (France, Portugal, Spain and Italy) to excel across the sales and technical disciplines necessary to support a successful team. You will also work closely with our Enterprise prospects and customers by shadowing and improving your team’s technical expertise to help develop good practice and ensure a high standard of customer success.

Responsible for the hiring, on-boarding, enablement and technical pre-sales performance of Solutions Engineers within your charge, you will be the focal point for coordinating the team’s resources to have the greatest customer impact and to help provide guidance when specific assistance is required or to escalate early and to engage the correct resources at the right time. 

To aid your team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product, through to Engineering and Customer Support. Your goal of customer success should drive you through the entire organisation as you seek out and advise your team on how to create scalable solutions for your customer’s needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in a prior leadership role, with minimum of 10-years related industry experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching, leadership skills or team management.
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding and solving escalations, team issues or other management related scenarios.
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with account executives and customer success teams to deliver Cloudflare solutions to customers.
  • Proven track record in technical pre-sales domain.
  • Proven knowledge of the enterprise market in Southern Europe (in particular France)..

About the Department

Based in India (Mumbai), you will drive sales into commercial and mid-market accounts across India for Cloudflare’s solutions. Your strategic selling activities will include "hunter" type activities to proactively penetrate target named accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure.

The ideal candidate will possess both a major account sales background in technology solutions, primarily software based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers within Cloudflare’s target customers. Industry experience selling into Digital Natives, IT/ITES, Retail and other Enterprise verticals along with Service Provider is desired in this role.

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a Sales strategy/plan for assigned vertical or accounts, as well as driving large account sales into India markets to achieve revenue targets. Therefore, you must have a strong network of contacts with decision makers in enterprise accounts across the region, and have experience selling complex solutions to these accounts. What you'll do

We are looking for a seasoned channel sales professional to help us build out the channel organization in the region. This is a great opportunity to be part of the Channel Sales Team in the region and play a critical role in developing Cloudflare’s presence in the market.

In this role, you’ll be working with large complex matrix organizations to expand the Cloudflare presence in these accounts and drive repeatable managed services business within their core technology teams . You will build a regional partner business plan with quantified goals and milestones to achieve partner sourced revenue metrics to meet all quarterly sales requirements.

As a Principal Channel Account Manager, Strategic Partners, you will  work with partner stakeholders to drive sales enablement and coordinate technical training of Cloudflare’s solutions, work with respective field teams on demand generation initiatives and campaigns,  as well as working with direct sales on various partner initiated opportunities (PIO), acting as the bridge between the respective sales & technical teams. You will also foster “peer to peer” relationships both at field level and up through the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and report an accurate sales forecast in Salesforce.
  • Manage contract negotiations. Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • A strong network within the Global System Integrators and large MSSP’s is highly desirable.

 Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Proven success in partner-initiated opportunity and deal registration processes, and growth in these areas
  • Proven ability to enable partners through training and certification, from sales to post-sales

Our Iberia Sales Team has been building an Enterprise focussed team spanning across mid-tier and all the way up to Global 2000 Enterprise accounts. As the Sales Directoryou will lead our Accounts’ sales teams for the Italian and Spanish market whilst reporting directly to the Southern Europe VP. About the Department

Based in India, you will drive sales into BFSI focussed enterprise accounts across the Western India region, for Cloudflare’s solutions. Your strategic selling activities will include "hunter" type activities to proactively penetrate target named accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure.

The ideal candidate will possess both a major account sales background in technology solutions, primarily software based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers within Cloudflare’s target customers. Industry experience selling into Finance, Retail, Manufacturing and other Enterprise verticals along with Service Provider and exposure to application and network security and zero trust is desired in this role.

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a Sales strategy/plan for assigned vertical or accounts, as well as driving large account sales into India markets to achieve revenue targets. Therefore, you must have a strong network of contacts with decision makers in enterprise accounts across the region, and have experience selling complex solutions to these accounts. You will have an intuitive understanding and experience with the key business and technical needs of these and large accounts and will create and deliver compelling value propositions to them for Cloudflare solutions.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and energetic person to join our Public Policy 

Team, based in Bengaluru at our Global Capability Centre. With a focus on India we’re looking for someone who can foster our unique corporate philosophy, develop public policy solutions to challenging technology issues and be comfortable giving front line support on issues requiring engagement. 

You will work on some of the most complicated and rapidly evolving policy issues, such as cybersecurity, privacy, intermediary liability, law enforcement access to data, content moderation, and copyright abuse. You will also work with leadership on the setting up of the Global Capability Centre. The perfect candidate is also someone with a strong background in government affairs in India (both State and Central), particularly in the tech space. You’ll help us engage with external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the strategic business objectives of Cloudflare’s Global Capability Centre. 

This person has a deep understanding of technology as well as regulatory environments. The ideal candidate can seamlessly go from a technical conversation with engineers to a high-level discussion with policymakers and government officials regarding where Cloudflare fits in the Internet stack. This person should be experienced in engaging and representing the company in key industry forums, engaging with relevant regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Because of the scope, complexity, and diversity of the company’s work, our Public Policy team members must be flexible, talented and able to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams to find and present policy solutions, to carry the Cloudflare narrative, and promote the public policy brand externally. 

This role is ideal for an experienced and energetic team player who is proactive, a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator and above all else, someone who has a thirst for knowledge and continued growth, all while working as part of a great team.

The Senior GCC Government Relations Manager will report to the APJC Head of Public Policy.

Responsibilities

This role will lead Cloudflare’s government advocacy and outreach in the Global Capability Centre in India and support the public policy team when needed. Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Monitor policy conversations, legislative developments and government requests, and evaluate how they could impact the GCC.
  • Develop and implement the GCC’s government engagement strategy. 
  • Represent the company in industry forums, engage with relevant stakeholders including government officials, regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Engage with trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups and law enforcement and others to educate stakeholders on Cloudflare’s position on public policy and trust and safety issues.
  • Develop talking points, policy narratives and presentation materials for use at external events and meetings and for other communication purposes (company blog, position papers, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic advice ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives of the GCC
  • Provide timely updates to colleagues from the Cloudflare Public Policy, Legal, Trust & Safety Teams and other internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5-8+ years of related experience in government affairs, trade associations, government and law enforcement. 
  • Expertise with the India policy and legal system, including government and civil society stakeholders, laws and regulations related to technology companies. 
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, with a sense of humor.
  • Detail oriented, well organized and a sense of initiative.

As the SOX Senior Associate, you will support the SOX Manager in executing all aspects of Cloudflare’s SOX program. This includes supporting and contributing to scoping & process risk assessment, controls rationalization & optimization, walkthrough facilitation, execution of test of design and test of operating effectiveness, and coordination of remediation & retesting. Additionally, you will liaise with and work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to complete testing activities for SOX. 

What you will do

  • Contribute to the overarching SOX plan by assisting with the SOX risk assessment, scoping and controls rationalization & optimization process (including updating controls language and flowcharts as necessary).
  • Assist control owners to prepare and facilitate the walkthrough of key business processes
  • Work with the control owners on planning and execution of the test of design and test of operating effectiveness

  • Provide effective and timely reporting to SOX Manager on testing status, roadblocks, and create/drive plans to remove roadblocks

About the Team

In this role, you will be focused on the build out and expansion of our global infrastructure. You'll work closely with Cloudflare’s SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team, Network Engineering team, Infrastructure Engineering team, Project Managers and with various vendors and partners (including hardware vendors, logistics, datacenter and network providers, and ISPs). You will further be responsible for the development and implementation of consistent processes and visibility measurements for consistent and effective management of our infrastructure. This is a highly visible position that requires deep technical understanding of datacenter infrastructure, physical and logical networking, linux, and basic experience with data analysis and project management.

To be successful in this position, you should have excellent technical skills, communication skills, and be able to navigate a range of challenges and constraints (e.g. schedule adherence, time zones, and cultures). Other Responsibilities May Include

  • Provisioning, monitoring and maintaining hardware, software, and network in new Cloudflare data centers.

Required Experience

About the Department

Cloudflare’s Engineering Team builds and runs the software that handles about 10% of HTTP requests on the Internet today. We also build and run the internal tools that builds and runs our software. What you’ll do

The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organisation is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers. About this Role

This role will focus on both the acquisition of prospective customers, in addition to the expansion of existing customer accounts. You will work a set of target accounts in the Digital Natives and or the Commercial sub-segments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to achieve quarterly sales and annual revenue targets in a defined territory and/or account list.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline through continual engagement and nurturing of key prospect accounts.

What You’ll Do

We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Named Account Executive (Sales) leader to drive Cloudflare’s ANZ Victorian Enterprise business.  The successful candidate will have the responsibility for leading the engagement with Victorian HQ Enterprise customers.  The role as minimum would require you to:

  • Build relationships within all layers of your allocated Enterprise customer segment leveraging your understanding of Enterprise IT, Cloud, Zero Trust Services and Developer Services.

About the position

The Senior Category Manager is a leader who builds strong relationships with internal and external partners to develop and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies that deliver value and create measurable, meaningful impact on Cloudflare’s success. Your mission will be to lead complex, high visibility engagements across all global business functions and procurement spend categories to enable Procurement to deliver on savings and partnership commitments with scale and agility.

To be successful in this role you will think strategically, demonstrate exceptional contracting, negotiation, and communication skills, and have a high level of customer focus and business judgment. You will have a demonstrated track record managing large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement projects and superior data analysis and presentation skills. This role is high visibility and will interact with senior leaders in the company and with strategic suppliers across spend categories, including Technology, Marketing, Professional Services, Facilities, HR, Legal,  Finance, Contingent Labor, and Consulting Services. What you'll do

The Senior Procurement Manager will :

  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
    • Lead and own all aspects of strategic sourcing and category management, including stakeholder management, sourcing, contract negotiations, category strategy, spend analysis/market intelligence, and supplier management across assigned spend categories.
    • Develop, document, and execute global category strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve functional and organizational objectives.
    • Conduct deep dive analysis of spend and market data, and conduct benchmarking to understand key drivers, identify top opportunities, and formulate strategies and negotiation plans that deliver value.
    • Deliver key category performance indicators including: savings, supplier rationalization, low-cost region sourcing, risk management, spend under agreement, joint innovation, supplier performance, etc.
    • Craft negotiation strategies and lead the negotiation of complex global enterprise agreements in collaboration with Business stakeholders, Legal, Risk Management, Data Privacy, Information Security, and external suppliers/partners.
    • Deliver significant year over year cost savings.
  • Leadership & Influence
    • Develop and manage stakeholder relationships and influence stakeholders to align with industry best practices in support of applicable Cloudflare strategies.
    • Build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across suppliers and spend categories. Earn trust as a business advisor.
    • Work closely with all departments to ensure alignment of sourcing and procurement activities with overall business goals.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive sourcing and procurement-related projects.
  • Manage end- to- end procurement process
    • Initiate and lead projects to improve sourcing and procurement processes and our ability to serve our internal clients.
    • Oversee the end-to-end procurement processes, including contracts management, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, gross receipt, and invoice processes.
    • Ensure that sourcing and procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, to include at a minimum, 5 years in a procurement function developing category plans and sourcing in one or more of the following categories: Technology (hardware, software, engineering services, data center, infrastructure or other technology experience) and/or Corporate Services (HR, Contingent Labor, Consulting, Facilities, and Marketing)
  • Track record leading large, complex negotiations with strategic suppliers across indirect spend categories, with the ability to lead cross functional negotiation teams and ensure alignment at all levels. 
  • Proven contracting expertise; the ability to dig deep into contract details, collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements, draft contractual terms, formulate strategy, and execute contract negotiations to achieve best possible outcomes while maintaining successful business relationships.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and liabilities in contracts as they relate to policies and business objectives, and proactively develop solutions on contractual terms in collaboration with Legal, Risk, Data Privacy, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience drafting, editing, and negotiating all agreement types, including Master Agreements, SOW’s, Addenda, Change Orders, Sales Orders, and Technology agreements (SaaS, End User License, Subscription, Cloud Services, Managed Services, Support Agreements, etc. )

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $116,000 - $142,000
  • For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $131,000 - $161,000
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $139,000 - $169,000

What you'll do

The Media platform organization builds and maintains a suite of products that are easy to enable and make web experiences faster.  The Cloudflare Image Optimization suite of products allow customers to focus on building great experiences rather than spending time optimizing for performance. You will own code from inception to release, delivering solutions at all layers of the software stack to empower Cloudflare customers. On any given day, you might write a design document that outlines how you plan to solve a specific problem, modify the request flow of Media products, or fix a bug in how our user experience renders. You can expect to interact with a variety of languages and technologies including, but not limited to Rust, Go, Typescript.

  • Experience building, deploying, and operating full-stack services.
