The Role

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join the Calculations team within our Core Product Engineering organization.

Our team is focused on building outstanding user experiences, powerful APIs, and sophisticated analysis and visualization tools for our global customer base of Financial Advisors and Wealth Managers.

We partner closely with a world-class team of designers and product managers, and put the experiences of our customers at the forefront of every initiative.

Our products are rapidly being adopted across the Wealth Management industry, and as we modernize and upgrade our core product, we are also making use of our APIs to build out entirely new products and features. We pride ourselves on delivering robust, secure, and highly usable applications.

The Calculations team builds sophisticated financial math functions into Addepar, with an emphasis on scalability and performance. Our algorithms comprise the foundation of the analytics platform!

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement new financial concepts our product vision within a multi-functional team as we expand into new geographies
  • Enhance the performance and capabilities of the core Addepar calculations engine, analyzing millions of transactions and securities every day
  • Create innovative and impactful features that delight our users
  • Collaborate on architecture designs, product features, and code reviews
  • Own software features from inception through delivery

Who You Are 

  • 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
  • Experience with server-side languages like Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server)
  • Ability to complete complex projects involving partners across multiple teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Role

As a Workday Business Systems Analyst at Addepar, you will play a pivotal role in the People Technology space. Workday is our core system, so this will be the majority of your responsibility. What You’ll Do

  • Workday configurations. Gather and analyze business requirements, recommending improvements to existing processes.

    The Role

    Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) partner directly with key technical & strategic counterparts at Addepar's largest enterprise engagements. From building custom data integrations to extending platform capabilities; an FDE operates with the autonomy and ownership to drive ground-breaking change for Addepar's customers. As an FDE, you will work in small teams with minimal supervision to set priorities, lead client interactions, and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of critically important projects.

    Each engagement will take on a slightly different shape, providing a wide breadth of opportunities to solve complex technical challenges, explore new and emerging technologies, and most importantly deliver high value customer outcomes. As an FDE, you will be responsible for taking lessons learned and value gathered in the field and turning it into scalable and repeatable long term solutions.     FDE operates as an extension of the platform rather than a services organization.     Who You Are

    Who You Are 

    • Several years of experience in a business and/or product analytics role
    • Previous experience building reports and dashboards with BI or reporting tools such as (Looker (Preferred) or Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Solid understanding of SQL, python and other analytics programming languages
    • Excellent communication (verbal, written and visual) and storytelling skills

    The Role

    Who You Are 

    • 3-5 years experience in an RIA or Single Family Office oriented business or environment, preferably in a client-facing role for financial products or services for UHNW clients
    • Strong analytical skills and a consistent framework or process approach to problem-solving.
    • You have technology knowledge that helps you engage and have credibility with product groups within Addepar and clients
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience building and improving client engagement strategies with a track record of success, as proven by improved client health, reference-ability, and platform adoption.

    The Role

    What You’ll Do

    • Have a deep understanding of Addepar's Strategic Client segment, including industry challenges and goals, and a strong understanding of how they use Addepar to increase client adoption and growth and ensure account retention.
    • Provide strategic oversight during the entire client journey, including implementation, optimization, growth, and renewal, so your team can seamlessly hand over knowledge and responsibilities where appropriate.
    • Partner with your account manager to deliver quarterly business reviews to align on business priorities, optimization opportunities, and Addepar’s product roadmap, as well as review product usage, adoption patterns, and insights.
    • Be the client's voice in Product Management, Product Marketing, Support, Renewals, Services, Finance, etc., building strong working relationships with each to ensure client success and consistency of contact.
