AsaProdOpsEngineer I, you will play a key role in ensuring our production systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime, quickly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. With 3+ years of experience in production operations, you will leverage your expertise in monitoring tools, incident management, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure to manage and integrate systems across multiple platforms. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the production operations, including planning and coordination, ensuring high availability and performance, managing staff and vendors
  • Monitor production operations and system performance, ensuring continuous uptime and quick issue resolution.
  • Support and prepare production environments for deployments, troubleshooting any arising issues.
  • Maintain 24x7 operational support for critical systems.

BasicQualifications(required):

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production operations or system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and incident management.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Strong understanding of automated monitoring and alerting tools, including Nagios, Sesu, or Datalog.

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technically fluent in developer’s languages, specifically .NET, MVC, VB, and proficient in the design and implementation of web-based applications, websites, mobile-friendly websites and mobile applications development.
  • 3-5 years’ experience designing, developing and supporting web based applications in a large environment.
