Integral Ad Science is hiring a Remote Senior Technical Program Manager

As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will champion stakeholder satisfaction by leading and empowering cross-functional teams in accelerating the delivery of program initiatives. This is a newly created position within a growing TPM function, and you will have the opportunity to help shape a modern technical program management organization. What you’ll get to do: 

  • Lead large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects and initiatives that drive customer value and impact for our users 
  • Manage technology focused discussions with senior leadership by providing valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology-based and data-driven decisions
  • Lead programs by achieving alignment on program scope, release planning, as well as aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing cross-functional alignment
  • Be a key member in building out and expanding the TPM function across the R&D organization, including driving engineering strategy, defining OKRs and KPIs, and building out supporting processes and procedures
  • Be a catalyst within the organization – help drive change and advance our Research & Development strategy globally, including building our engineering brand, and developing a learning and knowledge sharing initiative to name a few
  • Provide visibility to program status report (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis to all stakeholders and team members
  • Identify and take ownership of tasks to improve developer/engineer efficiency to maximize developer hands on keyboards and minimize unnecessary meetings and communications
  • Implement processes that drive accountability and integrity in estimation practices by utilizing data-driven insights from historical performance
  • Act as a scrum master for development teams. This includes assigning and delegating  tasks appropriately, ensuring the team’s work aligns with priorities and overall schedule, and ensuring the team is fully deployed to name a few

You should apply if you have most of this experience: 

  • 5-6+ years experience in technical program management or operational role 
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science, or similar degree 
  • Prior experience leading large scale, enterprise programs within a software or SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
  • Strong communication and proven ability to develop relationships, credibility, and rapport with senior executives, technical and non-technical team members 
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies and best practices 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail, and action orientation
  • Strong attention to detail and prior experience managing competing and high priority tasks

The accounts receivable team works on an on-going basis with their increasing list of customer accounts, ensuring collections are made and queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. This role would suit someone who has had 3-5 years’ experience within a finance/accounting department and who would like to grow and develop their finance career as part of a well-established team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Full ownership of the accounts receivable role.
  • Work autonomously in handling assigned portfolio.
  • Build relationships with clients and ensure clients are adhering to their payment terms as stated in their MSA.
  • Send dunning letters to clients and ensure these are followed up on.
  • Checking billing/invoice data for new and existing clients.
  • Chase clients for payments on any overdue balances by phone and email.
  • Request remittance advice from clients and confirm allocation of payments to correct invoices.
  • Work to ensure assigned individual and quarterly targets are met.
  • Create a cash forecast for your ledger.
  • Ensure client queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Complete any related ad-hoc tasks.
  • Build ongoing relationships with the Sales, Billing Teams across the US and APAC.
  • Work with Client Success and Sales Team to discuss portfolio updates and suspension of service for certain customers.
  • Collaborating effectively and supporting other team members.
  • Ensure internal/external customer support excellence.
  • Send statements of account to clients.

Qualifications:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to help build ad verification, analytics, and anti-ad fraud solutions that deliver on the team’s mission of helping advertisers understand the quality of the ad opportunities they’re acquiring. Our team provides the tools that advertisers need to maximize their ROI by displaying the recommended targets for their investments.

The ideal candidate has a track record of architecting and building end-to-end software solutions, enjoys working in a collaborative and agile environment, and brings innovative solutions to complex problems with a desire to improve the status quo. Additionally, as an early member of our Dublin location, you will also have the opportunity to help build the team from the ground up and shape the office culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect, design, build and integrate our core ad analytics and anti ad fraud products end to end 
  • Lead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring the team
  • Partner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions, including API development
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

Who you are and what you have:

  • BS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree
  • 3+ years of experience working with big-data stack, including Spark and Kafka
  • 7+ years of hands-on programming experience using Java, Scala
  • Expert knowledge of Java and (collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.) 
  • Experience with AWS tech stack, including but not limited to EMR, Athena, EKS, MSK
  • Experience partnering with Product and other high level stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

What puts you over the top:

  • Programming experience using Python
  • Prior experience in an external client and/or vendor facing role
  • Experience with managing, leading and/or mentoring a development team 
  • Experience with big data and data pipelines
  • Experience in AdTech
