The Basics:

The Administrative Operations Intern will contribute to making our functional operations best in class by supporting Tanium's workforce. The Administrative Operations Intern will systematically dissect existing processes for inefficiencies within the Procurement, Real Estate, & Security functions. They will then strategically develop new & innovative processes to solve for these inefficiencies with the goal of providing our employees with the support they need to get the job done.  Once processes are developed, they will partner with the Process Development & Implementation Manager to successfully implement these processes, ensuring the long-term process owner understands how to operate it successfully.  They will assist in supporting all Administrative Operations functions and those this team integrates with, including but not limited to the IT, HR Operations, Legal, Finance, & Accounting teams.  They will gain broad exposure by assisting in a range of projects and deliverables that actually impact Tanium's ability to be agile & successfully operate.

The hourly rate for this internship is $25.00. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. What you'll do:

  • Contribute to daily stand-ups with various functional partners to ensure current processes are being applied effectively

We are seeking a seasoned Staff Data Scientist with a strong mathematical foundation to join Tanium’s AI team. Tanium is looking to add a leader within our Finance and Operations Center of Excellence in Poland reporting to the Corporate Controller. Tanium’s Sales Enablement team is seeking a detailed-oriented, and highly strategic Program Manager. This role focuses on programs that enhance sales tools, systems to improve operational excellence, and sales methodologies-specifically MEDDPICC. The Program Manager will foster alignment of Tanium objectives directly to the support of our sales efforts. This individual will be passionate in the upscaling of skills and tools our sales teams need while also being able to support our sellers and leaders in the field as needed. This position will report to the Head of Global Sales Enablement.  

The Program Manager supports all segments of go-to-market sales teams, with the focus on Global Programs. This position is an independent contributor but operates as an integral part of a high performing Sales Enablement team. 

What you’ll do:

Partner with Company-wide Subject Matter experts and stakeholders to develop and deliver programs related to: 

  • Evaluations of sales tools, skills and processes to continually improve and streamline sales efforts. 
  • Measure and drive operational excellence with both global and regional programs. 
  • Role-related skill development delivered via all methods: instructor led sessions, virtual instructor led, web-based training (WBT), and meeting facilitation. 
  • Develop instructional recordings and artifacts that can be found and applied easily.

Partner with Sales Leadership to:

  • Drive improvements within existing financial models and develop best in class models and analysis, across the Finance organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and monitoring the business. 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or excelled academically in their respective major.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of strategic/corporate finance, investment banking/management consulting, or experience at a high-growth technology company.
  • Advanced in Excel and experience building sophisticated and detailed 3 Statement financial models.
  • Advanced in PowerPoint and experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar finance forecasting systems.
  • SQL or comparable query language experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly craft precise and elegant responses. Ability to communicate with a c-suite and institutional investor audience.

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $195,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

Tanium is hiring a Remote Software Engineer MDM

This is a hybrid position, which will require attendance several days each week in Durham, NC.

The Basics

As a Tanium Software Engineer focused on Cloud technologies, you will build andmaintainbest-of-breed products and infrastructure as part of a nimble development team. Tanium focuses on a customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure our products are designed the right way from the beginning. When new product ideas areidentified, our software engineers design, develop, test, and deploy the products and supporting services from the ground up, while iterating with product management and customers for feedback and input. 

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain Tanium's cloud products and services as part of an agile development team 
  • Implement intuitive front ends for customer-facing and internal applications 
  • Build backend microservices with well-defined API’s 
  • Work with persistent data stores, caches, messages buses, and other server-side technology 
  • Create automated unit tests, API tests, integration tests and ensure quality delivery 
  • Author technical documents and artifacts for developed software 

We’re looking for someone with

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • CS Degree preferred
  • Experience
    • 3+ years industry experience, 5+ preferred
    •  Experience building high-impact, high-performance, secure, scalable, observable, supportable, and maintainable backend services and APIs
    • Significant knowledge of at least one of the following: Golang or JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred), Node.js, Java, or Rust
    • Experience with React or similar front-end technologies
    • Experience with HTTP API design and development including REST and/or GraphQL
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
    • Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience with containers and microservices is a plus
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) a plus
    • Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, Nomad, Mesos) a plus
    • Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability
    • Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development
    • Comfortable debugging yours and others’ code in production environments
    • Has knowledge of a variety of modern backend software frameworks and the versatility to learn new tools and languages
