The Head of People and Culture will serve as a member of the senior management team and will develop and align HR strategies with the Mission, Vision, Values and core business objectives of the Organization.
This position requires an experienced, highly effective HR executive with a career of increasing responsibilities in enhancing the effectiveness of the People and Culture function within an entrepreneurial, performance based, growth-oriented organization.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and innovative executive with demonstrated experience driving culture of an organization through attracting, developing and retaining diverse top talent.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Optimize and streamline organization-wide processes centered on employees, encompassing areas such as recruitment, onboarding, fostering engagement, performance management, feedback mechanisms, annual reviews, promotions, and benefits administration.
Oversee all employee communication and engagement, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices to bolster organizational success and cultivate a stimulating, diverse team-oriented work atmosphere.
Implement and deploy Human Resources systems, policies, and practices aimed at amplifying the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
Take the helm on recruitment strategies, devising plans and initiatives to spot talent both internally and externally for key positions within the organization. Articulate the employee value proposition, linking people and business strategies while contributing significantly to fostering a positive and vibrant work culture.
Devise forward-thinking compensation and benefits programs to incentivize and reward effective performance proactively.
Oversee benefits administration, including suggesting annual benefit renewals, authorizing invoice payments, handling enrollment forms, addressing plan queries, and conducting open enrollment.
Incorporate performance management tools, professional development initiatives, and processes to empower managers and employees in excelling in their respective roles.
Supervise the employee management process within an environment that acknowledges, values, and rewards high performance, while providing proper coaching, counseling, development, and monitoring improvement plans or exit strategies for underperformers.
Attract, recruit, develop, and retain top talent that aligns with the organizational culture.
Evaluate and provide counsel on the implications of long-term planning, new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions on employee attraction, motivation, development, and retention.
As a data-driven executive, formulate and monitor essential HR metrics, creating a comprehensive HR dashboard.
Ensure effective employee onboarding practices covering orientation, retention, engagement, feedback, annual reviews, promotions, and benefits administration.
Collaborate with Operations and software developers, offering insights into new HRIS and software application features related to benefits.
Manage an annual budget encompassing HR services, employee recognition, team-building events, philanthropic initiatives, and administration.
Influence leadership by establishing credibility, trust, and rapport throughout the organization, serving as an adept listener and problem solver for both business and people-related issues.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant regulatory matters, industry codes, federal and state laws, and regulations.
