Job Description
We are looking for individuals who are strong writers, experienced across a wide-range of social media platforms, and passionate about travel who can make a sustained and lasting contribution to Travelstride.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create social media posts and engage with social media users.
- Grow our social media presence and our community of followers.
- Answer queries from travelers concerning Travelstride and travel in general.
- Support travelers in their coordination and collaboration with Travelstride-affiliated custom travel planners.
- Assist with keyword research to determine article topics.
- Contribute to destination guides, blog articles, and other types of content as needed.
You will gain valuable content marketing and SEO experience in the tourism space while working with a fun, energetic team.
Qualifications
- Strong written English communication skills - this is a must!
- International travel experience and/or a passion for the travel industry
- Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing-related field preferred
- Familiarity with Google docs, Google sheets, Hubspot, and Mailchimp
- 1-5 years experience in a travel-related and/or marketing role
- Quick learner, highly organized, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Customer service orientation and experience
- A strong desire to provide assistance to customers
- The ability to remain friendly and calm when dealing with customers in stressful situations
