Job Description
The ideal candidate will apply the highest ethical standards to all searches, developing a strong connection to their candidates, while maximizing their knowledge within the vertical in which they excel. Legal & Tax, Audit, Consulting, Investment Banking, Infrastructure (PPP's), Corporate / M&A, Private Equity, Finance, Internet, Telecommunication, Retail, Technology, Media and HR.
This opportunity requires a strong command of technology and oral communication skills in English, consistent application of our industry's best practices, and in-depth recruiting experience in the vertical they specialize in.
Candidates who have only worked in a corporate search environment will not be a fit for this opportunity.
Successful candidates execute the following functions or display the following qualities consistently:
- Use of X-Ray, Boolean and and other relevant search techniques to identify and recruit viable candidates for open positions
- Dedicate sufficient time to each search to ensure a generous pool of candidates
- Maintain a positive attitude and are not easily deterred by setbacks
- Are organized, passionate about identifying 'gems' in each industry, and build a 'loyal pool of candidates' in their vertical
- Thoroughly screen, recruit, and interview potential candidates, applying behavioral interview techniques to all searches
- Work exclusively with passive candidates
- Apply exceptional good judgment in reaching professional objectives, including how work is prioritized, managing candidate information, and balancing the needs of multiple assignments.
- Provide regular updates regarding status of candidates recruiting cycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working in either contingency or retained talent search
- Strong organization skills are required, must be disciplined in their approach to working with professional and executive-level candidates
- Exceptional communication skills in English required; Spanish is strongly preferred
- Ability to build strong rapport with candidates
- Knowledge of US labor and employment laws
- Access to a computer, internet and a telephone line
- Must be able to provide professional references

- This position is commission only. You will be issued a 1099 at the end of each year.
