We are on the lookout for a Google Cloud Sales Executive with a solid background in cloud technologies and a deep understanding of the public sector's unique needs. This role is pivotal in driving business development, achieving strategic goals, and leading customers through the entire business cycle with Google Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategically promote and sell Google Cloud services to public sector clients, focusing on value-based offerings that align with client objectives.
Cultivate and enhance partnerships within the Google ecosystem to support sales objectives and leverage synergies.
Lead sales initiatives in designated territories, focusing on two core states, and set a benchmark for sales excellence and channel partnership management.
Stay abreast of the latest Google Cloud technologies and public sector trends to provide informed, consultative support to clients and partners
Serve as a role model and mentor within the team, demonstrating best practices in cloud services sales and channel management
Collaborate with internal Go-To-Market (GTM) teams and Google Cloud alliance partners to generate and develop business growth opportunities, maximizing results in territory and with customers.
Influence long-term strategic direction and act as a business partner to customers, understanding their technology footprint, strategic growth plans, and technology strategy.
Develop proposals and Statements of Work in collaboration with the Delivery team to ensure deal profitability and customer satisfaction.
Serve as the 'voice of the customer', measuring satisfaction and advocating for their needs within our organization.
Proven experience working with Cloud solutions, with a preference for candidates who have deep experience within the cloud services domain.
Minimum of 8-10 + years in professional services sales, with leadership experience in a consulting environment.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with Google Cloud sellers, partners, and customers, with existing relationships in the sector being a significant advantage.
Strong background in selling cloud services and solutions, with specific experience in Data Analytics, AI/ML project delivery, and solution sales.
Ability to work collaboratively with GTM Pre-sales Teams to lead sales efforts across Google Cloud sales segments
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Flexibility and agility in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
