Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Education Associate. Your responsibilities will include writing, updating, and maintaining the articles on the Vestwell Help Center. At times you may be asked to write scripts for the video material posted on the Help Center. The ideal candidate must have impeccable attention to detail, stellar writing and grammar skills, and the ability to simplify complex technical and financial topics.
What will you be doing?
- Take the lead in developing and updating educational materials with a user-first approach. This includes writing articles, guides, and FAQs, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
- Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and consistency across all Help Center content, with a keen eye for detail in spelling, grammar, and factual correctness.
- Actively contribute to the growth and maintenance of digital assets within the Vestwell Help Center Library.
- Utilize analytics to identify opportunities for improving the user experience. Implement content optimizations and new content creation based on data-driven insights.
Requirements
The Necessities
- Outstanding writing skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in clear ways.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Proven ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously, from concept to delivery, with a high degree of autonomy and self-direction.
- A strong communicator, receptive to feedback, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
- A genuine interest in personal finance, especially retirement and workplace savings, with a commitment to creating educational content with a user-first approach.
The Extras
- Experience in financial services or retirement services, with a strong background in writing and content creation.
- Experience using Zendesk, Slack, Jira, and Asana.
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Please note: This is a non-exempt position. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
